Orange Ginger

I must keep all forms of of Bath and Body Works Orange Ginger in my collection: the body wash, the bar soap, the lotion, the cream, the spray, and the scrub. I own a lot of Bath and Body works products but Orange Ginger is one I repurchase on repeat. If they discontinued it, I would be very upset. It is clean and refreshing and yet warm because of the Ginger . I find it unisex. I have layered the lotion and cream under J Lo “Still” perfume, which is a bergamot musk. I have also layer the Orange Ginger cream under Bath and Body Works “Pink Lily and Bamboo,” which is a woody Lily and Ginger scent but seems to me to also have an unlisted vetiver note and the Orange Ginger brightens it up. BBW used to make an Orange Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner they discontinued to my disappointment.

I bought a bottle of the body wash earlier this year and it sat around in my closet until a few months later. When I finally got around to using it, I was around 7 months pregnant and my pregnancy brain became ADDICTED to this scent. I immediately went and bought the spray, lotion, and more body wash. It's the perfect mixture of orange and ginger to where it smells very citrusy but not to the point where it's reminiscent of straight orange peels or cleaning products. The ginger almost brings the orange scent down to earth to create a very approachable citrus smell.

I've been layering this with just about everything this summer, it adds a bright spiciness that feels clean and refreshing. You definitely get the orange note but it's not juicy or sweet, it's more like the dry, musky flavor of the rind, which is exactly what orange essential oil smells like. Great choice for everyday use.

Surprised no one has mentioned this, but it smells like Froot Loops to me 😅 and I actually love it, I use it as an under layer for other perfumes and as a hair mist but it smells soo good. I think it's the ginger that gives it that beautiful profile
