Paris Amour

From the Bath and Body Works store collection, this has always been my favorite scent! In fact, I could even call it my signature scent from them! I found it a few years ago, and I keep coming back for more. First, I started with the hand sanitizer and the soap. I loved the scent. So next I tried the bubble bath. What a lovely fragrance to soak in. Sweet but floral at the same time, very relaxing. Next I tried the body mist. Such a loving scent, and I was surprised by how much I loved the body mist. It smelt great on me, and I didn't even get an alcohol scent from it. It smelled just heavenly. After that I tried the Paris Amour shower gel. Once again, it was a lovely cleaning experience. I paired that with the body mist, and it smelled great! I got lots of compliments! Next, my boyfriend bought me the body lotion as a part of my Christmas gift! Not only did the lotion smell great, but it left my skin feeling SO GOOD! It wasn't a clumpy lotion, or a runny wet one, it was just right! FINALLY, today I bought the Eau De Toilette bottle of perfume! It was on sale for $20, compared to the usual $35, I found that to be a good deal, and because I love this scent so much, I figured I would give it a go! I LOVE the smell of the perfume. It smells exactly like I want it to. All of the products match. I wouldn't say that it a whole lot better in strength wise compared to the body mist. I am sad and wishing it was an Eau De Parfum, but oh well. What I have decided to do is layer the body mist with the Eau De Toilette, to make it that much stronger! :) The bottle is so cute! It's not the same as the one on this page. Mine is a round oval shaped glass bottle with a BIG metal ribbon attach onto the cap. It is such a gorgeous bottle. I find it to be so classy looking, and to be honest, much more expensive than what a typical B&BW product looks like. Paris Amour is my signature scent. I love that it is a floral scent, but it has a touch of fruit and a touch of champagne. I think that gives it the classy factor. It is not immature, but it is also not an "old" scent either. I feel like I can wear it when I want to be professional, or even just when I am hanging around the house! I find that it is great for most of the seasons too! I definitely recommend this scent! It is so nice smelling and so affordable! It has so many products to go along with it as well! So much to love and choose from! :)

This is one of my favorites. The packaging alone attracted me, as it is completely in line with my aesthetic. I actually bought the lotion first, and would highly recommend it, not just because it's one of the best-smelling of the many lotions I own, but to layer for longevity purposes. When I first bought the body mist, I was slighly disappointed that it had a bit of a different smell than that glorious lotion. Not bad, at all, but not as strong and far more bubblegum-y and airy, whereas in the lotion, the apple blossoms, French tulips, and champagne come through, clear as day. But I've grown to love it for exactly what it is. It's VERY girly and would be great for a young girl, even a tween or kid who is looking for something innocent enough to try out for her first scent. My mother was somewhat conservative, but I could see her letting me wear this as a kid because it's not overly strong and is very "fun", not dark and not really sensual. The closest thing to this scent is Victoria's Secret Noir Tease, though this scent I like even better, I think. It's definitely strongly of bubblegum, but there is something underneath...a hint of watermelon, I want to say. I do wish the siliage and longevity were better though, so feel free to spray liberally and reapply as needed. If you like it, you really should buy the lotion, because layering it will give it much better strength. I'm sad that they discontinued this in-store. They need to bring it back, along with all their other Paris scents I never got to smell. Look for it online though. You can still buy it on the website under Signature Collection (especially during their Semi-Annual Sales!) and on resale websites like Mercari, etc. Definitely recommend for anyone uber-girly, people who like bubblegum and/or have a sweet tooth in general. It would go perfectly with anything pink.

This is one of my favorite fragrances from Bath and Body Works. In fact, it's one of my favorites in general. I've only tried and owned (and still own) the body mist version of it. It's a very pleasant scent that opens with juicy, syrupy fruits. I can't really detect what kind of fruits they are but they're very sweet and delicious. There might be some strawberries, peaches and green apples. There's also some sourness from those fruits but it's a pleasant note and not too overwhelming at all. There's probably some florals in there too but they're well blended and don't stand out to me with any floral-y qualities. Probably some florals that smell more like fruits than flowers. In the middle, it starts to get more tropical, as in tropical fruits, and also lactonic. I think that could be the coconut because I don't smell an obvious coconut note (which I love because I'm not a big fan of coconut in perfume). The lactonic note, surprisingly, is not there all the time and seems to come and go even in the drydown. It ends with a beautiful woody note. It's sweet and kinda wet, not the dry kind of wood. It's like the woods here are drenched with the juice of those sweet fruits that continue on in the base of the perfume. The longevity and sillage are really good for a body mist. It last for more than 6 hours on my clothes and around 4 on my skin. I can always get nice whiffs of it during those hours. I wear all year round but my favorite is spring and early summer. I've repurchased numerous times and will keep repurchasing.

AMAZING!!! This is sweet, juicy, goourmandy- goodness in a plastic bottle!! I am loving this right about now!! I purchased the shower gel, body spray, and the lotion yesterday in one of those 3 for $10 sales at BBW! And I have no buyer's remorse! This scent is sweet but still fresh and juicy. I don't feel like I am wearing something too sweet. There is some floral sophistication to this which takes it to that next level beyond "teen sugar juice." And the drydown is to die for...milky-vanilla-coconut creaminess!! YES!! I'm trying to ball on a budget (and stick to it!) so I did not purchase the EDT this go around but I would if I could. The colors of the EDT are so alluring and beautiful though! I have never been to Paris but I have been in love before and when I think of love...I think of energy, color, sensuality, excitement, sweetness, and juiced-out goodness and this fragrance takes me to a special place!!! Paris Amour is a bonafide WINNER!! Yes...I do find that I have to re-apply after about 3 hours or so but that is what is to be expected with a BBW body mist! Thank God for the travel size body spray! Oh yeah! I'm feeling sweet and sexy and ALL woman :) BBW is stepping their game up!!!! Try this is you like sweet, sexy, uplifting, feel good, feminine, saucy, empowered scents! Be blessed :)

I really like this one! It's floral, fruity, and sweet, but not targeted at tweens, necessarily. I get a small similarity in the opening, a Mr. Bubbles bubble bath scent (which I loved as a child.) Some may be annoyed by that, but it's probably part of why I like it so much. The EDT smells some better than the fragrance mist, however neither have impressive staying power on me!! I SO wish this was long-lasting on me, as it smells so wonderful! Poor staying power is a big deal breaker for me when it comes to fragrances...too bad, because this could've been my signature scent. I will likely try to take it back and exchange it, since I would probably use half the bottle in no time, since it requires such frequent re-application (on me.) You can purchase the travel-sized fragrance mist version for touch-ups, but it doesn't smell exactly the same. I would recommend this to anyone loving both sweet scents and florals, but just don't expect it to last! Edit: I have the older, square shaped body mist of this, and tried the new "fine fragrance mist," and I must say, on me, the older mists had better longevity than the new ones tend to. The new formulations are not an improvement IMO. Still love this scent though.

I really enjoy Paris Amour. It's endearing and flirty. I was actually given a small lotion from a co-worker for Christmas in 2012. It was love at first sniff. I went straight to the store and bought myself the perfume as a Christmas gift and now I keep a bottle on hand always. This is the only sweet/fruity perfume from the Bath & Body Works line that doesn't give me a splitting headache. To me it smells like sparkling strawberry candy, with a beautiful floral bouquet, and a cotton candy base, but it's not the kind of cotton candy that can be sticky or cloying. The scent isn't overwhelming or offensive at all. I have at least 4 bottles of the lotion (work, home, purse, extra), 1 body spray and 1 perfume bottle. I adore it. Every time I put on the lotion at work I receive a compliment which is always nice but that's not why I love it. In the summer, I love to mix a little Paris Amour lotion with OGX (Organix) Coconut Milk Hibiscus body lotion. It tames down the sweetness just a tad bit and makes it slightly easier to wear in the sweltering heat. Or I'll wear the perfume over the coconut hibiscus lotion, either way works.

I have to say I don't agree with the previous reviewer. It takes its place as part of the existing strawberry trend, yes, as opposed to heading out to parts unknown - but following a trend is only shameful if the trend itself is inherently bad or if you can't add anything to the discussion. Paris Amour, to my nose, surpasses the tame Daisy, the big sticky SJP NYC, and the sharp Secret Wonderland. The strawberry juice sits between the dark currant leaf, the warm floral apple blossom, and the fuzzy coconut - and they're all having a cheerful conversation. Definitely try it if you like the abandoned gem that is Pavlova, or if you like sugary gourmands. Especially try if if you think you don't like strawberry perfume. And prepare to not be irked.

It's yummy! Fruity, vanilla, sweet - this is definitely delectable. I am not really able to tell the flowers apart but they're there. I detect a clear champagne note in all of this, and I think it gives it a fizzy specialness. I was testing some other fragrances a while ago and happened to try Signorina by Ferragamo. I thought it was quite similar to PA, especially in the dry down. I'm guessing it's the panacotta note in that one. Dessert-like, yummy. Very long-lasting on me. And though it's very sweet, it's not the kind of sweetness that gets cloying after a bit, nor is it a teen sort of sweetness. It's very feminine, but not girly. Maybe because it's not tart...there's something warm and comfortable here. Very very nice!

Sweet and Sophisticated Many perfumes fail to have this combination, but BBW Paris Amour does not. I bought this as a gift for somebody. I've been trying all the perfume on Macy's to find a sweet and sophisticated combination, but I've failed big time. It opens with a thrilling combination of Freesia, Strawberry, and Champagne. These notes give the playful attitude of the scent. The dry down is a classy musk and amber. Overall, it's impossible not to fall in love with this scent. Floral perfumes seem to be very playful, but Paris Amour is not only playful, but it is also sophisticated.

This scent is a creamy floral fruity scent,usually i dont like floral scents but this is perfectley balanced off with fruits and flowers but honestly i can smell more flowers than fruits like i cant really smell any strawberry maybe just a hint which is sad because i really like strawberries but this is still a good scent this pretty much last you half the day because it is light and airy,but this is still good for year round. If you like floral fruity scents than this is an fantasic scent for you,well i can now say bath and body works did an amzing job with this scent :).

This reminds me of a shower gel or bubble bath. It's fruity but the florals keep it fresh and clean. I get a lot of the apple blossom at the start mix in with the strawberry and the champagne which is not listed on here. This stage is sweet but not sickly and also a little bit sour. The florals then come through and it's the fragipani and freesia that stand out the most and at the end it sweetens again with a touch of vanilla. I think this is great for Spring, nice and fruity but also soft and clean. For casual wear as it's pretty and inoffensive.

I actually love this-I haven't liked anything by B&BW in a long time so this is quite a surprise.If you have ever smelled the Degree body spray 'Classic Romance' this is very similar-not a perfect match but the same kind of true,'pink'floral.It's exactly what I've been looking for:) After wearing it a while it reminds me quite a bit of PH's 'Siren'.There is more of a fruitiness to the lotion vs. the body spray but I still like it.I would like to try the Edt, though as the body spray has no lasting power whatsoever:(

This fragrance smells pretty high end. I tend to lean towards ultra feminine scents, fragrances that scream "WOMAN!" There's something innocent, sexy and beautiful about this fragrance. I've never been to Paris so I can't compare in that sense, but when I catch a whiff of this perfume I imagine being playful and flirtatious with that special someone. It's sort of a tousled hair, rolling in the grass, playful kisses, I can't get close enough to you scent. Highly recommend purchasing the EDT.

Update from my previous Review: I do love this scent now! BBW definitely reformulated it. They backed off of that sour strawberry note ( that smelled like stomach acid) and replaced it with a demure sweet strawberry. It is a sweet fruity bubbly scent. I dont get any vanilla. Which is a good thing. Ive ordered off SAS sell. Im so glad they got rid of the previous Sour note. Thk u!

a very beautiful mix of a warm, sweet floral, it kinda reminds me of a Britney Spears perfume but less sickly sweet, more floraly, and all around in my opinion just beautiful. The lady that worked there told me there were notes of champagne in it too which i can smell actually, but even if it's not listed on here I still love this scent. It ends slightly vanilla-y as well.

OMG I totally agree with DJJellyBean, I mean I'm sure Paris Amour would smell good on the right person, but it's just super strong and I can't STAND PA on me! And then they discontinue all of my favorites including Sweet On Paris, Be Enchanted, and Secret Wonderland but this is still in production!? what a shame, totally disappointed in this fragrance

Paris Amour is a peachy-fruity vanilla amber. The coconut gets stronger as it wears. A pretty, girly, fun fragrance. I passed this by for years until I had a chance to play with it on skin, without the distraction of other testing on the same day. If you like La Vie est Belle Intensement, Guess Gold, or Aquolina Simply Pink, you may like Paris Amour.

If anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative to Paris Amour, Target and Walmart have a brand under the name "Bodycology" which has a fragrance with associated beauty products called "Pretty in Paris" that smells very similar to Paris Amour, and is cheaper! I bought a shower washing gel and a Body mist, that I will use from time to time as well! :)

I really like this scent. It actually reminds me of Justin Beiber's Someday and also Britney Spears's Radiance. I think alot of fragrances are mimicking each other lately. I remember when VS was copying the Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy with their Noir Tease last year. It's just par for the course as far as fragrances go!

This fragrance is lovely and pure. The sweet fruitiness is great. Floral, strawberry, and champagne Notes seem to predominate. I think it is appropriate for all ages. B & b has done an exceptional job. It has a very romantic composition. I adore it and wear it often.!!
