Perfect Peony

Its a very pretty floral type of scent and I am not the type of person that's into plain floral scents. I had this in my high school years and that vanilla dry down in this is so pretty. My friends used to compliment me whenever I wore this. The only con about this is that is not long lasting.

Peony is my FAVOURITE note in fresh/girly fragrances so when I saw this I was like wow must buy it! And didn’t I find it on sale yesterday for like 70% off and it was the last one! It’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Aah... I'm using it right now and got many compliments from my friends. This one kinda smells like Victoria secret flowery perfume. But the peony note is dominating. But it's so smooth and perfect.

Great fragance. A good surprise for a bath and body fragance. Smells like expensive perfume. Not to strong, not to floral just perfect for day or night. Really love it.

This fragrance is interesting, in the times I've sampled it there's always a certain warmth that emerges, it's difficult to describe. Maybe this is meant for late winter/early spring weather (like right now exactly), because I find that it has decent protection. It's actually formidable within the first hour (I'm reviewing the fragrance mist). It's also decent on the longevity side of things. It's a simplistic and very linear fragrance, and it does smell recognizable as peony...and it's true to B&BW's style - this is still on the sweet side even as a floral. Instead of apple I always feel like this has light green tones...almost like petitgrain. B&BW's Rose fragrance as well as Plumeria feel related to this, as if they're all distinct and pretty pink soliflores with some backbone. However, Hello Beautiful must contain the same peony and it's most similar to HB in scent. Some of the stuff from this brand could stand to be a little stronger, but this is adequate. I'm actually not sure I would call this a "crowd pleaser", I can forsee some folks objecting to it.

Compositionally, this smells a *lot* like B&BW's Rose perfume, (which I've also reviewed,) in the sense that while the main floral note has been swapped out, the white musk base of the scent is basically the same. This isn't a bad thing- it just forces you to make comparisons between the two, especially if you own both at the same time. One significant difference is that this has a light fruity note in addition to the main floral scent; I would have thought it was kiwi, but apple makes sense too. Like Rose, it's very creamy and soft-smelling, a bright clean floral that you can't go wrong with. If you like florals, this is a pretty safe blind buy, the only downside is that it doesn't last very long, at least not on my skin.

it's a really fresh and floral scent and i do like that. around the 2-3 hour mark, it dries into a light vanilla scent. i don't like vanilla but the scent was so light and unoffensive, that i thought it was alright. at about 4-5 hours, theres just a slight, lingering sweetness. all in all, it's a very young, femme, fresh scent that does not do me wrong. on me, it lasts about 5 hours. can't find anything to complain about. it's not amazing but it's not awful. it's good.

(for fragrance mist review) beautiful scent but very very light to use as a signature scent.. scent is gone 5 minutes after spraying, stays on clothes for few hours but with just a hint of it's scent.. 😭😢 hopin' i'll get a very very strong version of the scent that is exactly like this one..

It is fresh and pleasant fragrance and feels very easy to wear. It is mainly peony, but the freshness comes from a hint of green apple, which makes the scent feel light and uplifting. I actually received many compliments when wearing this one, which was a bit unexpected for me.

I love this as a pick me up or as a light scent to wear in the spring and summer time. It's floral with a touch of apple. To me, the dry down smells almost like sweet tarts! I like this and will continue to use it.

PP opens with a fresh, mildly green, and slightly sweet smell that is somewhat aquatic to my nose; that’s why I guessed cucumber. After a few minutes it became more recognizable as green apple with a soft, fresh, floral “rosy” smell. In the dry down I could sense some white musk then subtle vanilla & sandalwood. I have the EDP and the performance is abysmal (1-2 hours max). Save your money and get the mist. PP is a likable, simple, summertime floral that is far from “perfect”. I think BBW has better florals (Japanese Cherry Blossom and Butterfly Flower come to mind).

Why is B&BW so popular? I made a concerted effort to get to one of their stores in our Galleria mall, and walked out completely bewildered. I sampled this one, really thought it was going to be a scrubber but it didn't last that long thankfully. I can't even describe it to you. A very harsh floral water is the best way I could verbalize it. I couldn't smell any vanilla to round it out. Peony is a hard floral to pull off, if I'm recalling correctly some don't have a scent while others can be a bit spicy and soft, so it's a perfumers interpretation of a floral to begin with. And this perfumer went really harsh without trying to round it out. I will say this about B&BW, their staff is very aggressive on salesmanship. I can understand why people buy, I almost did to get them to stop asking me what I was looking for. I didn't know what I was looking for, that's why I was there! I took to carrying around a bottle of this (which is how I ended up spraying on myself) to keep them off me. I left before the gorilla tactics herded me to the checkout counter, of which this particular store had 3! of. I think that's why they are so popular.

I'm a bit biased when it comes to this cause i'm already against floral but this one is just awful. It was gifted to me literally years ago and I still have it because I don’t like it and barley use it. It’s extremely floral to the point where it just smells like flowers and alcohol. Nothing else. I'm sure that works for some people but not for me.

A dejected room spray... it feels like an old lady perfume. Heavy on the floral and powdery on the dry down. Not fresh and synthetic.

This review is about the body mist: A personal favorite from the brand and probably one their best floral scents I’ve ever smelled. Blind bought this one via online and I was really happy with it! It’s very light with a hint of sweetness, easy to wear, floral scent that’s safe to wear whether you’re in your late teens to your late 50s. Very feminine and youthful. Casual, daytime, summery scent but I wouldn’t mind wearing at night. Also, if you’re a bride looking for a scent you can wear on your special day, you might want to try this one. The first time I sprayed it, I thought it was kinda similar to Gingham. But I like this one better for the reason that Gingham’s dry down scent isn’t something I like. And Gingham is much sweeter and warmer. And borderline unisex. As for Perfect Peony that is floral and fresh with a bit of sweetness. I also love the simple packaging. As for the longevity, i’ll say 3 hours max, will probably last 4-5hrs if you use it together with the body lotion/cream that smells equally good.
