Pink Lily & Bamboo

Pink Lily and Bamboo is a woody fresh floral. There was a period in my life when I wore vetiver pure essential oil. My husband would call me a “wood nymph” and dig his head into my neck. Well, after I had used a certain bottle of the vetiver oil, I had bought a few other bottles but never found another bottle that smelled the same. So I quit wearing vetiver oil. The first time I used Pink Lily and Bamboo in 2023, I had just used the body wash and cream and was putting on my makeup and my husband said I smelled “woody kind like vetiver.” I agreed. Pink Lily and Bamboo makes me feel clean yet earthy. It reminds me of a woody version of Bath and Body Works “Hello Beautiful,” which has no woods but is a clean gardenia and Lily white floral. I do not know what bamboo smells like but it is green and woody. Vetiver is not listed as a note but my husband and I both smell vetiver in it and we like it. Currently it is unavailable from Bath and Body works but it is totally unique and I will repurchase if I see it becomes available. I do not want to be without Pink Lily and Bamboo. It is a feminine vetiver with a pink classy womanly backdrop.

I second the review below, it's a luxurious floral fresh scent, complex and elevated, yet warm and comforting. I had this for a while, and I like to spray it on my bedsheets, and love to smell it in the air, I wear it sometimes for this lux and soothing sensation. It's one of the most unique and uplifting scents I have.

Light and airy, and warm as well as fizzy.. with a soft floral overtone, clean nuances with a scantly green quality. If you like Versace bright crystal this is just different enough to warrant a purchase. This is a more warm floral take, whereas the other is fresher and watery. I love both.

One of my unexpected faves! Wish this came in a edp Smells like you’re in a wooden sauna with a bunch of flowers that were just picked. Has the freshness of Chance but the notes are completely different. Very unique.

It is unique. On my skin I really smell sauna and ginger in fresh way but floral. Longevity is very bad, I wish they would make a perfume version.I layer it with body cream.

such a clean and fresh scent. it reminds me of a riverside wildflower bed. Smells like the water drops on fresh flowers. You can't go wrong with this.

I honestly don't know why I like this fragrance since it is not my type at all, but I find it so sophisticated and high class for being a body spray. I just read in the notes here that it has a sauna note? I found that interesting and maybe it sheds some light as to why I like it so much despite the fact that it is very, very white floral and green (again, not my type). It is clean, smells realistically of flowers, and sophisticated. It's as if it calls my name in the wind and whispers, "Wear me... wear me..."

I really wanted to like this, the notes are so lovely, and it looks SO good on paper. The bottle is particularly neat (I had the first edition square one), and it smells fantastic in the air. However, for whatever ungodly reason this turned bitter on my skin. Truly bitter. I don't think the combo of that bamboo accord, hot wood and the ginger agreed with me, not even with a few tries in different weather. In the air it has a romantically florid, distinctly Asian vibe that I loved! It was spicy enough to be interesting, but not enough to be heavy or to disqualify this from being useful in the heat. It was truly pretty. I didn't get any fig in here, but it did indeed smell of sauna wood! But on me?...it bombed. It took on an acrid, nearly burnt tone. I wore it once on a balmy spring day in 2020 and my kids literally remarked in the car "is something wrong with the car mom? It smells like burning plastic." But nope...it was just me and this fragrance, at odds with one another. It's rare for me to find something that clashes with my chemistry this much, but it happens to us all at some point, I truly believe. I could've happily kept this for a room spray, but I decided it was a bit of a waste, and I passed it on to someone who gets along with it better. I still recommend it, it's nice and it's not another redundant B&BW release.

The perfect pairing for Avon Haiku. Green, dewy, floral. And I’m someone who prefers gourmands and fruity scents - still, I love this one.

I tried this as a shower gel. Meh, not for me. Reminds me of either Carried Away by bbw or Paris Amor by bbw... can’t remember which.
