Pink Paradise

Wow. I LOVE this. I liked SDJ 68 when I sprayed it on the paper, but on my skin it was waaay too vanilla-y and the other notes were just drowned out (I'm not huge on vanilla, but since it smelled so good on the paper I thought I'd give it a chance). Pink Paradise smells very similar, but slightly less sweet and fruitier, which is a plus for me! This lasted pretty long on my skin. I could still smell it on my wrist after 5 or 6 hours(I only did one spray on my wrist). One negative is that it is not as strong as SDJ, so a few more sprays may be necessary depending on the sillage level you want.

This smells like the most delicious shampoo. It's a perfect combination of fruity, fresh and sweet. I didn't expect to like this as much as I do but every time I spray this I can't get over how much I love it. Smells so feminine, pretty and shower fresh. I've never smelled the Sol de Janeiro fragrance so can't speak on the comparison.

I haven't smelled the fragrance mist, but I have the body wash. To me, it smells very similar to Gingham Gorgeous (which I LOVE, by the way), only fruitier and slightly sweet. I know that that makes no sense because they don't have any notes in common, but that's definitely what I get when I smell it. Anyone else? Or am I crazy? 😅

This is a spot on dupe for Sol de Janeiro’ Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ‘68. It’s sweet from the hibiscus and dragon fruit, but has this tang to it like Cloud or In The Stars from the moss notes. Overall perfect dupe.

This is like if In The Stars received a “summer” makeover- and it’s also a tad lighter and airy-er and I’m HERE FOR IT! That moss note is just perfection.

Fruity musky fragrance, similar to in the Stars but I like this one more, all year round fragrance but longevity is kinda poor and not super strong :(

Sooo fruity and sweet, but not too much. I get more fruit notes than floral

Spot on SDJ #68 dupe. If I didn't already have that, I'd get this. Really love this DNA. For those unfamiliar, it has the warm spun-sugar vibes of BR540, AG Cloud, or Bond No.9 Greenwich Village. A touch fruity but mostly sweet. I find hibiscus to be a little tart so I don't pick up any of that.

I have no idea how to feel about this one. I've never smelled BR540 or SDJ 68, or even In The Stars (I know right..), but I do have Cloud and I don't see much of a similarity here. I smell a LOT of moss and I feel like I've smelled this on family members when I was a kid in the 90's (the smell left behind after getting a big fat wet kiss planted on my cheek lol). This is not a bad smell by any means, but it's definitely not a "modern" DNA to my nose and smells much more serious than it appears to be. It's nostalgic for sure but I wouldn't classify it as tropical. Maybe I need to let it sit a bit more and give it a few more wears. It can't be that I'm the only one who doesn't get the fruitiness. UPDATE: It has grown on me. It kind of has an out of the shower/shampoo vibe to it. Very summery.

Pay attention to the comparisons. SDJ are usually not sweet nor floral nor fruity. They are usually musty, musky, or sour and mostly suntan lotion scent or that is the predominant notes. The pink liquid is misleading advertisement that it's sweet or fruity when it is not. It is compared to "in the stars" which can even be considered masculine. Pink paradise is a dupe of SDJ #40 not #68 and even the name is also misleading just like the original. It is not sweet or fruity. The SDJ 68 is the only one that is kinda actually fruity and floral with a yogurty drydown. But bodycology strawberry cheesecake can be had for a fraction of the price and is just as yummy.

When I smelled this in store, I liked it but my nose always gets messed up from smelling all the different scents. I also knew it was supposed to be a dupe for sdj 68. They do smell pretty similar. I don't have anything against the smell, it just drys very similar to gingham gorgeous, which I already have. It also lasts maybe 10 seconds on my skin. Not worth it.

This smells exactly what you would expect a BBW store to smell like: very fragrant and almost like multiple floral/fruit scents mixed together. The scent is not bad but it feels very teenage girl on spring break. Think of drinking fruity drinks on the beach with a flower in your hair.

this smells like a greener version of sdj 68, which i'm not the biggest fan of, but i think this fragrance is actually better. one difference i did notice is that this one fades a bit quicker on my skin compared to sdj 68.

Fruity syrupy ambroxan that smells like Cloud Pink (I've never smelled 68). This scent DNA is Dior Savauge for Women.😬 Take that for what you will.

it may be bc im not a huge fan of the sol de janeiro sprays, but this one smells like absolutely nothing .

I like Pink Paradise, it does smell close to #68, but.... it's pretty close to In The Stars, too. I'm not sure I need both. It's kind of odd that BBW chose to dupe #68, when Stars is already kind of considered a dupe. Maybe Pink Paradise is a little softer than Stars, but I'm not going to stock up on Pink Paradise since I have so much Stars stockpiled in my collection anyway

I adore Royal Musk Pink by Ard Al Khaleej, and Pink Paradise captures its essence beautifully, being about 95% similar. This makes Pink Paradise an ideal and easy-to-wear fragrance for everyday.

Can anyone describe the scent ( without comparing to SDJ). ? Thank you. I'm not being smart Alec.
