Pure Wonder

Very Beautiful, floral, softly sweet, fresh, effortlessly feminine, radiant, elegant, sparkling, airy, clean, bubbly, bright, charming, whimsical Oh my this is ever so beautiful! Iced rosé buried in soft, white, twinkling snow. A sparkling winter wonderland with fresh, sweet jasmine and white amber. It’s so delicately sweet, fresh, floral, bubbly, clean, and feminine. I think there might be just a touch of raspberry too. Overall, I think it’s a wonderful fragrance! I think this is a rather unique scent, especially for something from B&BW. I feel like the scented lotion (or the mist, if you prefer) pairs very nicely with a lot of different fragrances. It’s just such a soft and beautiful scent. It has a very fresh, clean, and even icy feel to it. It does feel very wintery to me, like jasmine and rosè scented snow. However, it’s such a soft, subtly sweet, and versatile scent that I think it works well throughout the whole year. I get good performance with Pure Wonder, especially when I use the fragrance with the body care. The longevity is decent, it lasts at least 6-7 hours on me. The projection is between intimate and moderate, it projects within an arm’s length.

Pure Wonder is one of the best fragrances BBW has released in several years IMO. It is soft and feminine, and I can see it being worn in all seasons and as a signature scent for someone. The smell is very pretty and clean whilst at the same time being slightly floral and sweet. The jasmine really shines in this, as the blend between the jasmine and the iced rosé are beautiful together. If you are familiar with BBW scents, this one seems as if Champagne Toast and In the Stars had a love child. This fragrance is not necessarily new and unique but it is beautiful and feminine, and smells like a sexy grown woman. It is also not child like and it is not super mature smelling, I could still see anyone of any age wearing this scent and it seems very versatile as far as occasions to wear. It also reminds me of A Thousand Wishes by BBW. I can see how others think that this smells like Alien because the jasmine notes in here are in a similar composition as the jasmine notes in Alien, however, it's certainly not a dupe. I would say it's more like a third cousin of Alien. I am surprised this scent is not more popular.

Oh, B&BW knew what they were doing when they marked the price up for this one -- it's JUST THAT GOOD, you're going to begrudgingly buy it. Addictive, feminine, overall just super pretty. Get your cashmere sweater and dainty jewelry out! It's not really a gourmand, but my mind still jumps to "juicy gumdrop" whenever it comes near. A slight fruity (nectarine? tangerine?) laundry quality. I would consider this one a safe buy personally and could see myself wearing this 24/7 regardless of season or situation. Women of all ages could appreciate it. It's like a hug from mom, a romantic date, and a cozy Sunday at home all in one. It feels trendy and youthful but also timeless and well rounded. However - Mugler Alien is one of my favorite perfumes and this ain't it, Pure Wonder isn't daring at all and is very clean/cool/light. Even by B&BW standards, the jasmine in Twinkling Nights or amber in Sensual Amber are darker/smuttier/more "mature" than Pure Wonder.

This is my ultimate favorite BBW scent. Prior to this, my top one was A Thousand Wishes. But now this holds the top spot because I am so addicted to its scent. This is fresh clean scent with perfectly blended florals. I ordered several backup in the recent SAS sale because I know I will forever love this. This is perfect especially after shower because you smell squeaky clean. I also use the soap version of this. Btw, I noticed the soap bar really lasts a long time. I then layer this with the body cream. For me this fragrance is so good that it’s the only one that has a visible dent amongst all of my many collection. The scent alone makes me feel so good, warm, cozy and happy. This is the kind of scent that will make you want to hug yourself and feel all snuggly wuggly!

I LOVE THIS - if you like the mist the perfume is a must. I typically hate rose and prefer sweet heavy vanillic warm scents. But this is a bubbly feminine subtle rose with a lovey icy quality. it does not remind me of any if the similar frags instead I think its 50% unique and 50% reminiscent of a general high end classy floral fragrance. for the first minute or so it smells very "old lady" but after this transforms into a sophisticated icy Champagne rose with a subtle sweetness. the jasmine and amber are there but they are very much in the background and they ground the fragrance beautifully. Lasts around 3 hours on my skin with great silage and then becomes a softer skin scent for a further 3 hours. on clothes its a bit stronger I would say.

The jasmine in this is impeccable. You get a fruitiness in the opening, but the jasmine is so sweet and compliments it perfectly. The notes are wrong here: the top notes are not rose & ice, it's iced rosé, as in the wine, and that's where the bubbly fruitiness comes from. It's similar to champagne. If you're like me, you didn't enjoy this scent at first, but when I was gifted it for Christmas, I started enjoying it immensely. Good for every season and occasion. Very feminine and sweet.

This is for the body mist. The Iced Rose, Jasmine and Amber are simply wonderful together. The fragrance is on the light side but on our bodies last all day (everyone's body chemistry is different). Light and fresh but we (my husband and me) get lots of compliment's. Yes I have no problem with anyone wearing this as myself and husband have a wonderful rose garden every year and we both enjoy the smell of rose's. If you like light scent's then this is a must have.

This reminds me quite a bit of Mugler Alien Goddess Intense and I 💜 it!!! The body spray was $5.95 and I had 2 coupons for free lotion so I’m super proud of myself right now, LOL!! It lasts a bit longer than the usual B&BW spray and is definitely worth the $6 I spent.

A youthful and delicious way to do Jasmine and Rose! Normally a lot of whit florals smells a little too mature to me, but this is a beautiful take on it! It layers fantastic with jasmine and rose scents like Flowerbomb, Good Fortune and Good Girl Gone Bad!

Tested out the fragrance mist and I swear it smells exactly the same as Sarah Jessica Parker's Stash Unspoken. I don't think it's a coincidence that they have the same color palette and aesthetic with the packaging, too.

So refreshing in a floral way. My husband like this on me. Suitable for day and night. I'm a fan of amber, so I like it so much..

This is way better than I expected. So delicious. I kept wondering what smelled so good then I realised it was me.

Full disclosure, I don’t normally care for Bath and Body Works perfumes and this is currently the only one I own. I bought this because my experience with the moisturizing body wash was absolutely heavenly. There is a woodsy note in the perfume that does not shine in the body wash making the perfume a bit of a darker scent then I expected. I find that the perfume is brighter and closer to the body wash when sprayed on clothing instead of skin. Overall it’s a nice fall winter sparkling fruit wine sort of scent balanced with a bit of an amber-ish woodsy note. I don’t smell any rose. Overall it’s quite nice for a winter everyday scent, especially for the price. If you own several more expensive perfumes I would recommend buying the small body spray which is about a third of the full body spray size and sells for about $6USD or so. It’s nice to have around but not so ground breaking that you need to spend anything more. I also recommend the body wash... honestly I recommend the body wash more highly than the perfume or body spray.

Looking at the scent notes, Pure Wonder honestly doesn't sound all that exciting... but somehow it smells SO much more luxurious. There's something about the way the amber and white florals come together that makes it smell incredibly elegant and expensive. Even though it's definitely floral, it never comes across as heavy or old-fashioned. I actually get a subtle fruity sweetness in the background that keeps everything feeling bright, soft, and feminine. It's one of those fragrances that's clean, classy, and effortlessly beautiful. It's perfect for everyday wear, but it also feels elegant enough for formal events or special occasions. Somehow it manages to be both polished and easy to wear at the same time. Def deserves to stay in BBW's permanent lineup!!

Going by the BL I really like this.. I can see the comparison slightly to alien (the jasmine woody combo) only PW is loads lighter..idk if the perfume is stronger. I also get a fresher quality from PW & mildly sweet in the dry down. I like this also because I don’t find it offensive at all and has just enough scent to let you know it’s there. Nice for cooler weather fall to spring anytime scent, also slightly reminds me of an earlier release of theirs “In the stars” which I also liked..but also find PW to be even more delicate then that, think this also is a scent that could layer well with a lot of floral woody scents, I’ve tried it with Gucci guilty so far..& beautiful! 😌👌🏼

This is a great layering piece since it vibes with Alien and DG's The Only One Intense due to the strong jasmine scent. It's not an exact dupe but reminiscent and similar. I don't get Valentino Donna Born in Roma at all, as VDBR is more of a woodsy, vanilla scent. Price is great, especially if you pick this up during one of BBW's many promotions. Sillage and longevity are moderate. I have the shimmer spray and while it's not as strong as the EDP version, it still lasts for an 8 hour work day. Around hour 4-5 it becomes a skin scent. I layered The Only One Intense with the shimmer spray and the combo was on point.

I keep trying to like this scent, but I must admit that it doesn't do anything for me. Is it unpleasant? No. It's a sweet, juicy (but not fruity) clean floral, very light and a bit bubbly. I think my scents need to have some element of fruit, vanilla, or woods in them. I can see this being agreeable for the person who doesn't like a strong fragrance. I have both the lotion and the body mist and the packaging is very beautiful with the etched pattern and rose gold motif. I will be selling or passing this along as my collection is too big to keep things that I have to try to convince myself to use/like.

This is a light and non-offensive offering from BBW. I don't understand the above comparisons either. On me, it's an icy rose with very slight amber nuances; it smells "snowy" if that makes sense. To me, it's nothing like Alien or Born in Roma; I own both and this smells nothing like either one. With all that being said, it's not bad. I almost get a Love's Baby Soft vibe from it, but this is more "icy". I think Pure Wonder is a good chillaxing scent but that's about it. It's soft on sillage and moderate on longevity.

Yesterday, on Resurrection Sunday, I went through my B&BW fragrance mists--I have close to 50 of them in my collection. I chose to wear Pure Wonder. It was my first time wearing this mist. I enjoyed it--to me it encapsulated the mood of Easter. It was feminine, easy-going, and uplifting. I wore it around the house--cooking, cleaning, and hanging with my dogs. To my nose, the rose and amber notes are most prevalent. Very appropriate fragrance mist to wear to church--it has that 'spiritual' vibe.
