Rich Espresso

Love love LOVE this body spray! Easy 5/5. Sweet, vanilla coffee scent that dries down to mostly just vanilla after awhile. As a body spray, it's not very long lasting, but I love to layer it with Akro Awake edp for something sexier and muskier. While it's better suited for cooler weather and evenings, I wear it all the time and will definitely get it again!

absolutely stunning and EXACTLY what i’ve been after. i’m a sucker for coffee fragrances and this is the first one that has really blown me away! this would be perfect for layering to customize your ‘latte’ of sorts lol. i hope that they never discontinue this.

My boyfriend got this from the B&BW semi annual sale, and my god was it worth it. This smells like good coffee and books, I love this smell on his skin and now he’s looking for more coffee fragrances!

My fave!! I love this. I'll go full on with BBW by layering this with vanilla cafe body lotion and milk body spray. it's versatile though and i love playing around with this. Obsessed

I got this perfume in Puerto Rico at a really great discount (75% off) and got it since I smelled it and wanted it for a minute. It smells very strong at first and spraying it too much gave me a headache. It dries down on my skin kind of latonic. It doesn’t smell very good in the heat. I would pair this scent with a vanilla or a cashmere lotion and maybe a perfume on top to kind of balance it. it smells great with strawberry, and i also found out it smell good with desert-type smelling perfumes like my méharées perfume. It’s honestly a great layering mist.

Why are true coffee scents so hard to find? I’ve tried a few niches that claimed to be coffee-forward but this body spray scratched the itch. It smells like a fresh brewed cup of coffee with no frills. It’s on the fringe of gourmand— I really do not get any sweetness from this which is a refreshing breakaway from the sugarbombs I saw lining the shelves. The scent reminds me of those old-world coffee houses with the bean roasters near the windows.

exactly what it says on the tin -- smells like straight-up coffee. can be great if you spray it lightly and layer it with other stuff (i like to use it with YSL black opium to boost the coffee note in it), but also can be headache-inducing after a bit. if you've ever worked in a coffee shop before, you may not like this one. if you're looking for something that smells exactly like a plain ol' cup of coffee, then this is perfect for you!

i acc really dont like the body wash version of this . But the lotion is good! Loved it in the store but i feel like it's not as versatile for layering as i thought. Def feels off with some of my scent preferences. The only one it really goes "okay" with is the Le Monde Gourmand Chai Espice one

Opens up with a strong almost floral burst of coffee. Then in the middle it turns into an espresso shot with brown sugar mixed in, reminiscent of walking into a Borders bookstore. Dries down to a musk with a hint of coffee, I put it on when I'm about to start a study session!

I don't actually get as much from the coffee notes from this as I was hoping, but it's great for layering with other gourmand/spiced scents! A lot closer to "warm spice" than "holy shit that's a coffee shop," if you're not into in-your-face fragrances.

Bought this today with my free reward code. Love it, smells like coffee break a bit. It reminds me a bit of my grandma’s (who hates me) house though.

This scent reminds me of walking into Dunkin’ Donuts and it pairs well with Milk and Honey. It’s such a comforting coffee scent.

Why it smells like star anise to me ?

BBW semi annual clearance was fairly picked over and the only lotion/mist pairing I could find was this. And boy I’m glad it was! Someone uses the word “versatile” before me, and that’s a great word to describe. I agree with others in that it’s not too coffee-gourmand. People aren’t going to be thinking they are in a Starbucks when in the room with you. Yet, it do be smelling like Starbucks, if Starbucks released a perfume (if that makes sense). The versatility comes into play when layering this one. I am shocked by how many perfumes layer with the espresso note. I gave away my bottle of Black Opium, and I’m really wishing I hadn’t. I think this would pair nicely with it.

I ran to my B&BW this morning to smell this today and immediately bought it. I definitely smell coffee and hazelnut in this and a little something else that keeps this from smelling too food-ie. Almost like a musky note? It's not super sweet at all though which I like. It has a perfume vibe and isn't juvenile. It doesn't smell like rich delicious deep espresso that's been freshly brewed though it smells more like a coffee flavored candy that isn't super sweet. Reminds me a bit of Coffee Break by Replica except the coffee note is a lot stronger and there's no lavender in this. Same vibe of a more unsweetened coffee perfume though.

Dissapointed to say the least! I was super excited seeing a new perfume mist from the wellness section of bath and body works! I absolutely adored Milk and Honeycomb.. so I had high hopes for Espresso. Maybe it was just my nose, but Espresso was super faint and barely showed up on my skin and on paper... I sprayed enough so that I could smell it. It opened up with a hopeful coffee hazelnut note.. but then dried to a very faint, and very sour coffee note. It smelled like a cheap pour over rather than a freshly made espresso shot. 1/10

to me, the initial spray smells like it has a bit of a licorice note? which goes away fairly quickly and you really get that delicious deep dark roast coffee. i smell some dark chocolate and a hint of a frothy hazelnut. but this is a very yummy coffee scent it pairs perfectly with vanilla cafe to really deepen and enhance the coffee note!!!

A stunning, rich dark roast coffee. If you’re looking for more of a brown sugar shaken espresso, pick up the vanilla cafe. This scent is perfect to me, and it everything it claims to be in my opinion

normally just walking by a bath and body works gives me a migraine but i found the six dollar sale compelling. this is yummy. simple and not especially strong, but very pleasant, nutty, and natural

Love this so so much smells very much like an early 2000s Tuscan home in the best way.
