Rose Vanilla

BBW is usually not my favorite place to buy anything (much less enter) but my daughters always have to go when we are around that area. Most of the fragrances in there are so similar and have base notes that pretty much blend into each other and each fragrance is no longer distinguishable after a while. They all smell the same. COVID also ruined the place for me, as most of their frags are synthetic, and that is now very apparent. BUT THIS. I went on a rose kick about a year ago, and will probably forever be a diehard vanilla fan, so while I was waiting on my daughters to get their nose full, I tried this. It is heavenly! Most rose frags are synthetic (simply for economic reasons) and they smell like salty pickles now. This one doesn't! This has a vanilla in it that is almost Marshmallow, the same marshmallow as Dossier's Floral Marshmallow (which in the winter and fall I BATHE in.) The two notes are enough, and they are absolutely charming. Purchased the entire product line! The longevity is meh, but I layer it with body wash, lotion and the spray. It hangs around for about two to three hours. Only complaint I have, is with the body spray. It contains alcohol, but not enough apparently, because your clothing feels damp for half an hour afterwards. Little gross, so be aware of when and where you spray it. Over all, it is an economic, lucious and timeless frag. Great for layering or alone. Cannot be worn by men, not unisex. Too floral and too sweet.

i have this in the cream and it's a sleeper hit imo. i'm not much of a rose gal and this is def a rose-dominant fragrance, but the vanilla in this really softens it up and makes it creamy, but in a more lotion-y rather than gourmand way. it's really comforting and cozy but still clean. i see the similarity to covered in roses, but only in the sense that i think they share the same rose note--otherwise, covered in roses is a lot sweeter and more berry-forward. if u fw the clean girl aesthetic, this could be ur year-round scent for running errands and cozying up in bed

I got this because I loved the candle version of this scent, but they discontinued it or something. This smells exactly like that This smells like roses with a sweet cream vanilla. It's soft, sweet, and floral. If you like to smell like roses, but also like vanilla this is great. I also removed the label to make the bottle cuter

Heavier on the vanilla than the rose, this is one of the only aroma therapy collections I own for myself! It has a sweet but refined smell that is very alluring. I love spraying this on my bed!

Great as a base for layering things. Currently using a rose oil and Ellis Raven on top of the body lotion and it's all pretty tasty if i do say so myself.

I'm SO glad this was finally added. Man, does this have a cult following! 😳 I do find it incredibly pretty, nothing to lose my mind over, but just well executed. When taking B&BW's general quality and affordability into consideration, I'd safely claim this is one that easily exceeds their typical blends. It's so simple too, which is crazy. It truly is just simple old vanilla, but it's a little more...refined than it usually smells? The rose is pretty, sweet and tasteful. It's warm in tone, and can be used to layer with other perfumes, but makes an amazing standalone fragrance. It really is lovely. I had a family member who was obsessed with this for a while, and I think her love is warranted. I'm not in total love, but it's a strong "like".

it is such a soft and gentle fragrance. To me, it smells like rose water with a subtle vanilla sweetness that makes the whole floral scent feel softer and a little creamy. The vanilla really helps the rose here. Instead of being a sharp or overly powdery floral, it becomes sweeter, smoother, and much easier to wear. It's simple, feminine, and honestly just a really pleasant scent. There's nothing particularly groundbreaking about it, but it's one of those fragrances that's so easy to enjoy.

Some intersection of heat, humidity, and skin chemistry defines this scent. I layer the lotion with the mist and can smell neither, but give it an hour to develop and it smells faintly like a creamy, powdery Turkish delight. Feels nostalgic, like opening an old wardrobe and finding dried pink rose petals pressed between your clothes. Charming for a pillow spray but the scent is too light for perfume. .

This is an extremely photo-realistic Turkish Delight candy. It smells EXACTLY like it. Some people say they don't smell the vanilla, but I do. It is extremely sweet and young, so it's not for me, but I could see this being my signature when I was a teen or in my early to mid 20's. I really like it and I'm considering buying it as a gift for my niece who also enjoys Turkish Delight.

A creamy rosy scent that makes me feel like a princess. I adore this one ! ♡

I catch no vanilla, just rose. Unlike most BBW, no chemical/artificial smell. Smells just like a mono-note rose scent from old times like Crabtree & Evelyn or St. Ives rose scented lotion. It lasts a while sprayed on clothing or linens and doesn’t project much. If you love fresh, unadulterated roses, you will enjoy this. Nothing like other BBW scents to my nose.

For me, the rose overwhelms the vanilla by a mile. I can only smell it on the drydown, and even then it's still very rosy and not very sweet. It's pretty one-note and leans grandma-ish. That being said, it's a nice soft scent that rose lovers will definitely enjoy. I like it, but would wear it for occasions or use it as a nice bedtime scent rather than a daily one.

I've had the candle of this for years and I'm thrilled they brought the body care back! I have both the lotion and mist and by layering them you get a decent amount of projection. The texture of the spray is different from FFMs though, being an essential oil mist. It feels more "watery" than the FFMs and I was surprised to find that it was cloudy along with the others on display. That doesn't effect how it smells though, the scent is identical to the candle. I spray it on my pillows before bed and it helps with the sleep ambiance. As for the scent itself, it smells just like the name: rose and vanilla in equal parts.

This is my favorite BBW Aromatherapy scent next to vanilla & patchouli. But this one wins for sure. However I am sad because when I bought it around 2020-2021 it was a lot better in the body cream but they changed it this year to a more heavier rose scent than the sweeter vanilla-rose that it was the last time. But the actual spray still smells the same which is nice but the body cream projected like a solid perfume and the spray is weak. Still smells nice, but the first version of it was one of my favorites ever.

i got this today from BBW after debating on buying it for a few months and i’m so glad i did! it smells very rosy and almost sparkly or fizzy (maybe a champagne note) on the initial spray. the dry down smells like a soft and pretty vanilla baby powder. smells so soft and elegant to me! definitely worth a smell

This is a delicate Rose and vanilla. Slightly powdery, very soft. As soon as I applied the lotion and spray it immediately reminded me of Idol NOW flanker. They came out around the same time.

Soft, sweet, and just so wearable. This might be one of my favorite rose scents ever honestly. So elegant.

Why is this marked as 'for men'? Seems pretty feminine/unisex to me
