its like a sugary rose. I first got it in winter so its definitely a little strong at first but airs out into a soft sugar rose. i if you dont like straight up floral scents then this can be for you it is floral enough for you to notice the rose but not so floral its like smacking you in the face with flowers. its definitely a good blind buy if you cant test it

On me this scent comes off as a sweet delicate rose with a very slight lemony note in the background. It's semi sugary, yet also fresh like a nice smelling soap or body wash. It gives effortless clean "just out of the shower" vibes. Definitely great for casual daytime wear and bedtime wear. Beautiful without trying. I love it!

A gourmand rosey scent with a bit of a “makeup” like smell to add some interest. Modern and crowd pleasing but slightly sophisticated. Smells more expensive than it is, and has better lasting power than most of the body spray scent concentrations from Bath and Body Works.

super nice rose with a sweet dry down. However if you don't like a deep, slightly pungent rose this isn't for you. it's that mixed with sugary sweetness. very modern take on a note that can be old-fashioned.

This smells similar to BBW’s Whipped Rose & Vanilla, but less sweet and heavier on the rose. The rose is also more of a rose oil. This one is more of an everyday scent, whereas WR&V is for special occasions (too strong otherwise). If you love rose oil, you’ll probably enjoy this! I love rose, but didn't like it in this blend - the merengue was realistic, but felt a bit stale when paired with the rose.

For anyone missing this, check out Rose Gourmand from Zara. I purchased Rose Gourmand a few months ago and have been addicted to it. I still have Rosewater Meringue shower gel and mist from a few years ago when it was released, but haven't used either one in a while. I used the shower gel last night and was struck by how similar it is to Rose Gourmand! It's not a 100% dupe but it's definitely close enough to scratch the itch if you're missing Rosewater Meringue!
