Satin Slippers

I absolutely adore this mist. I get equal parts dewy sweet pink rose that is slightly powdery and light, sweet jasmine. It is the stylized kind of modern rose, not realistic. It's not a green or classic rose like BBW Rose. It is most similar to their aromatherapy line's Rose Magnolia scent, except with jasmine. The first spray smells sweet and a bit like SweetTarts candy. The jasmine comes out more during drydown. The musk is a light, airy floral musk that is faintly sweet. This mist lasts 6 hours on me, which is pretty good! It lasts well on clothes and in hair. I think it is so pretty. I used it as my winter freshie.

i love this one!! have been wearing it all winter and sometimes in spring. it's not particularly special, but it is SO so pretty and easy to wear! clean but not soapy, girly but not sweet. if you like white flowers and musk i recommend :)

Satin Slippers is a light sophisticated white powdery floral with white roses. I own Perfumer’s Workshop “Tea Rose,” which is a an old school photo realistic dewy solo note RED rose with the stems. Satin Slippers is compared to Tea Rose, but Satin Slippers is more “white” in its rosieness and lacks the dewy green quality and though it is rosy, it is rosy in a different kind of way. I own the body wash, the cream, and mist of Satin Slippers. I enjoy wearing the color “ballet pink” and ballet styles clothing and satin slippers matches that “ballet core” aesthetic. Lightly applied, Satin Slippers would be perfect with an artsy ballet look but if over applied, it has the potential to become cloying. Beautiful for year round and extremely feminine.

Light, airy, fresh, powdery rose, perfect for spring, summer and layering. I actually find it to be a youthful rose and not strong or dusty. I like it, but I think when I run out of lotion and spray, it will not be hard to find a replacement. Pretty common scent profile.

To me this smells a lot like greens and the strong rose note. The sillage is crazy; so much that I kinda feel suffocated. It's got that grandma or old lady fragrance profile. The powdery, and overly musky scent that you smell in gran's perfume. It's a really linear floral scent that isn't offensive but probably is too strong for some. Definitely a daytime scent. Nothing special nor memorable. It also fades after less than an hour. The packaging is quite beautiful, though. Fragrance : 6/10 True to Notes : 8.5/10 Sillage : 9/10 Packaging: 9.5/10 Longevity : 7/10

At first spray I love this, smells fresh rose and almost fruity but then when it dries down it smells like rose scented soap but the "airy musk" isn't airy at all to me. The musk comes across as bo and it's mixed with the rose soap... just no, nope. Pass for me.

I enjoy wearing this & it's easy to use this to layer with another floral fragrance. It's smells Feminine, sophisticated & clean. At the initial spray there is heavy rose & musk notes, as it dries down the rose tones down a bit and jasmine note starts to peek and all notes is rounded with the musk. Smells perfumey, reasonable longevity & good sillage for body mist. It can be wear as spring time fragrance, casual at home, running errands or at office. Best use for layer combo with other fragrance especially the floral/fruity notes to give it more depth. Not offensive, good staying power/sillage & Good base for layering with other fragrances.
