Tiana

The water lily is juicy, fresh, aquatic. My nose detects no mustiness. This is a light scent. Tiana is quite unique, and I say this as a lover of aquatic florals, especially water lily and lotus. The uniqueness comes from the interesting addition of a warm amber that is in perfect balance with the drier sheer woody notes. This juxtaposition allows the water lily to really shine. This is my favorite scent out of the Princess line. I have nothing else like this. Tiana is best as a candle, shower gel, or hand soap. These forms really let the aquatic composition and freshness shine in a way that is more vibrant than the mist is. The mist falls flat in its performance. Spray without abandon!

So, I work at Bath and Body Works and get to smell all the new stuff coming in. A lot of the fragrances are very basic and overplayed (or re-used), but Tiana really stands out. It's just fresh and different. It smells like a light floral tea. Very green and clean with a hint of maybe citrus in it. I absolutely love it. The only problems are the staying power and the projection. The body cream lasts longer and projects more than the body mist, as to be expected, but neither are making it past 2 hours. Still smells wonderful though and is my favorite of the current Disney Princess line.

Tiana smells very similar to B&BW Misty Morning, but Tiana is more mellow and much more intoxicating. It's a deep inhale frangrace for me - the kind you begin to inhale but don't want the experience to end bc it's so yummy. A great spring or summer fragrance that smells light, aquatic, green, lightly earthy, and possibly citrus and melon-y with its brightness and depth. Wonderful.

This one was my favorite out of all the princesses. It's complex but it's clean, refreshing, almost tea like and herbaceous. It is kind of swampy, I get that from the packaging and the bayou woods note. In a good way. It's unique and I don't have something like this in my collection yet.

To me it is very similar to ivory cashmer this feel of clean fresh smell with hint of soapy musk. The green note is not sharp at all.

One of my besties is unhauling a good amount of her Bath & Body Works fragrances that she never used and offered to send them to me! This is the fourth and final of four in the second shipment she's sent my way. (She also sent me the body lotion of this fragrance.) I absolutely adore this scent! Not sure why, but it smells like a woodsy honeydew melon. I almost thought that it was just their cucumber melon repackaged, but it lacks the cucumber note and there’s something pleasantly woodsy in there. Do water lilies smell like honeydew melon? I don’t care either way, this smells amazing!

I'm wearing this one now and it's nice. It is a little aquatic, not my usual vibe, but it also has a lovely floral note. If this dries down to a woody base, that'd be even better. I'm pretty particular about which florals I like, so many of them I'm just not a fan of. Maybe it's the water lily note I'm smelling that reads "floral", and I don't think I'd know what a water lily smells like in any case. I wasn't a huge fan of this princess line, but this one is pretty nice.

I found Tiana to be a very pretty aquatic water lily floral with a lot a fresh green notes and a mild woody presence. Not my style but it fits the story and the setting. B&B has done a good job with this line and I appreciate it. There is at least one princess for everyone who likes Disney princesses. If you like water lily, green spring florals check this inexpensive beauty out.

I found the entire Princess line by B&BW pleasant, but Tiana is my favorite. I've been obsessed with aquatic scents lately so this is right up my alley! It's fresh, woody, green, and slightly sweet (would it be B&BW if it wasn't sweet?-lol). I usually shy away from "green" scents, but Tiana has opened my mind that I will give more green fragrances a try!

I sprayed this in store and immediately it reminded me of their Apple mist or that Garnier Fructis shampoo. Fresh, green and a hint of apple which I don’t see mentioned in the notes but definitely feels like it’s present. It’s good enough for me to grab in shower gel form if they have it but not a must have in spray form.

This was my favorite of the princess line. It fits her character the best too imo. A deep inhale gives a fresh aquatic floral, with a forest scent giving it depth. It may not be unique, but it smells exactly the way you want it to.

On my clothes it smells like a soapy detergenty sour green apple and I love it :D

Okay, I'm just going to say it, if you think this smells swampy, you read the back and you based your opinion fully on said back saying "Bayou woods" Now not everyone is like this. TRUST ME I have my own opinion on this fragrance. But I know a larper when I see one. What it smells like: Tiana, despite being one of my favorites as in princesses, smells like strange fruit. To my knowledge, there is no fruit in this. But I pick up on weird fruit when I smell it. What kind? I really don't know! Maybe it's watermelon, maybe its grapes, or maybe some kind of cantaloupe? Something watery, idk. It also has this strange wet scent, "gee wizz Tealdreams! It's almost like it HAS A WATER NOTE!" Yes thanks captain obvious. It smells like mildew just a little bit. Maybe fruity mildew if that makes sense. It's not horrible, but its just...Eh. It's hard to hate for me. Maybe because I love her so much as a character. But yeah, not my style. The bottle: Cute! I do actually love this bottle. It's fun, and green is a never really used color in these lineups! Modern Bath and body works never uses a lot of green. (That I know of don't attack me) So seeing some green is always awesome to me! The flowers and the little details really sold me as well, so I do like it. Originally, I bought this for my sister. She hated it, and I took it and traded her one of the ones I got for myself. I know, sister of the year, I definitely wanted to do that. SMH. My final opinion: I don't really like it and I don't really hate it. Now do I think it smells like a swamp? No. I have BEEN TO A SWAMP and it does not SMELL LIKE THIS! Swamps smell bad, this smells...Decent. It's not at all swampy. Last year people said this smelt like a hamster cage. Now some larpers are saying it smells like a swamp. It DOESN'T! But is it good? No. Is it bad? No. It's very mediocre. Who would I recommend this to?: Well, nobody really? But I mean if you like aquatic fruity kind of scents, I suppose you might like it? NO SHADE IF YOU DO! It's just not my thing girl! I AM JUST A VOICE IN THE VOID DO NOT FULLY LISTEN TO ME TAKE MY WORDS JUST AS IS.

This is quite pleasant, but doesn't stand out as one of B&BW's greatest. I appreciate the aquatic, soapy, fresh floral though, and on screaming hot days this would be a welcome refreshment. I honestly don't smell any alleged wood. To me, it smells of transparent pink water. Only colored as such because of the subtle hue reflected by pink water lilies. It's not actually green to me whatsoever. Clean, dewy pink, soapy and slightly sweet.

The opening is GORGEOUS and bright, almost a bit fruity with hints of apple and peach. It's fresh, it's clean...... and then it dries down. I think the "bayou woods" note is the main offender here that makes this dry down into something that genuinely smells a bit swampy. There's an unfortunate mustiness that I just can't unsmell.

Does this really smell like a hamster cage or all of you just running out of ideas?

The worst in my opinion. They did Tiana so dirty with this one by making it this vegetal. I really expected this to be beautiful but it’s straight up Cilantro. When I had a friend smell it to get their impression, they said it smells like tom yum soup. I will be giving this one away.

I saw someone here describe this as a Cilantro scent and it does. I also smell a hint of floral here but very lightly. I would love to have this as a body wash, not a mists. It's a little strange walking around smelling like my local market vegetable shelf.

I really wanted to love this one. I saw so much hype about it and I loved it in the candle. But in body care? Not for me. The candle had a sweet pear note in it that the body care didn't deliver on my skin... Instead, I got grassy, murky swamp water.

Idk if I'm noseblind or... but this does not have any of the woods smell I was expecting. A lot have complained about the Bayou woods note ruining this fragrance, but I smell nothing of the sort. This is actually a fresh, green, aquatic, floral, and slightly fruity scent (even though no fruit notes are listed). It's pleasant for hot weather. I even find this great as a room spray. It doesn't smell offensive at all. That being said, its projection and longevity are weak. I did expect that for the 4 bucks, though. I simply overspray this to compensate for how short it lingers. The packaging is beautiful. This is something I personally like but won't gift, since it may be polarising for some people. Fragrance : 9.5/10 Longevity : 6/10 Sillage : 6/10 True to Notes : 7.5/10 Packaging : 9.5/10

If you own the old and new formula, could you message me and tell me if there is any difference in scent? I'm not sure which to order from mercari Edit: so since nobody messaged me I went ahead and purchased both old and new packaging. The scent is almost identical but the mist in much stronger in the older packaging. The lotions are the same. Get the old packaging if you have a choice.

This is extremely beautiful. The only counterpoint is the childish bottle. I can't really describe it other than it's the same feeling you get drinking water after a long day in the sun - refreshing. In fact it smells exactly like a southeast Asian fruit punch. It's a fruity aquatic but without the tart or cloy.

i loved this when i tested it in store. but something was wrong with the bottle i grabbed. it smelled ACRID on my skin, from top to bottom. i'm hoping this was a manufacturing error and not how it's supposed to smell 😬

I loved this scent when I sprayed it on paper, but sadly it pulled kinda sour green apple on my skin. Definitely smells good on other’s, but it’s was just rough on me.
