Twilight Woods

Disclaimer: I have the older mist bottle with purple and brown hues, as well as the EDT pictured above and the EDP with the huge gaudy cap. The notes for the old formula of FFM are different than those for the recent formula but similar to those listed for the EDT. Review: What not to love? Twilight Woods strikes a beautiful balance between a subtly sweet vanilla, dewy juicy fruitiness, a smooth creamy coconut, and warm sensual woods as well as a softly clean musk. It’s both cozy and elegant, ideal for autumn or evening wear. Thankfully I don’t get any oud. The performance is moderate for the old formula I have. Just LOVE ❤️ Oh and the perfumers are Harry Fremont, Honorine Blanc and Jane Konnyu!

I'm from the UK and we don't have a B&BW store. However I really loved Twilight Mist by Body Fantasies which is getting harder to find. Usually the shipping fee from America is too expensive, but I saw a bottle available at a reasonable price on eBay. Smells almost exactly the same as Twilight Mist, but less fruity and more woody hence the name 😂 however it doesn't last as long unfortunately. There is a slight resemblance to Crystal Noir, TW is much sweeter of course. When I wear Crystal Noir, I like to layer it with TW.

As far as I can tell Twilight Woods is the same as it always has been. I'm glad, because this is a bit of a cult classic! I still only own the old bottle, but I've sniffed the newer stuff. Mimosa is the star here, and it's a warm floral...almost pollen-y. I enjoy it in here and in Butterfly Flower (I'll forever miss that one), but I dislike it in Japanese Cherry Blossom. With the notes here, the mimosa isn't stuffy or overbearing, it's simply beautiful and supported perfectly. I actually have changed my perspective on this, and I can see how there used to be coconut listed in the notes. I think I used to try and smell a more tropical coconut, but in here it's presented like Crystal Noir's; it's coconut in *tone* and *texture*, an addition of sweetness and warmth (a very fuzzy facets of the fragrance), but not necessarily the fruit itself. It smells like it has a touch of sandalwood too, and sandalwood + coconut is such a classic, perfect match that they end up smelling seamlessly soft and powdery together. I hope that makes sense.. At any rate, parts of this bear a striking resemblance to Crystal Noir EDT. Honestly the packaging of the older bottles couldn't be more perfect. This newer stuff looks corny, but at least it's still the same fragrance. Longevity is ok, but it's easy for me to become anosmic to this. There's almost a melancholy tone to this, and I've always thought it smells like November in a bottle. It's sweet, femininely woody, warm, but somehow a little pensive. I know that sounds odd, but that's how I feel about it. It's moody. 🍂

A lovely, enchanting, warm, cozy, creamy, woodsy vanilla. It also has nice touches of floral and fruity notes that add a soft sweetness. Twilight Woods is a very fitting name for this. It really gives off a cozy and comforting vibe. I own the perfume, body mist, lotion, and shower gel. I love wearing them all together as well as wearing the lotion with other fragrances like The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Burberry Goddess, YSL Libre Le Parfum, Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, Vera Wang Lovestruck, SDJ 59, Replica Autumn Vibes, and several more. I feel like it’s an easy one to layer with, that it goes well with a lot of different fragrances. It’s a great fragrance to have in your collection. I get good longevity with this, especially when I’m using the body care too. It lasts all day on me. The projection is nice too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me

I've always been extremely picky with Bath & Body Works scents, but Twilight Woods was always one that I liked. It's a comforting woodsy berry scent that is perfect for fall and winter, and even though I started wearing it in high school, I've never thought of it as a juvenile scent. If anything, I was drawn to it because I wanted to smell more grown-up. Dear Bath & Body Works, If you're reading this, PLEASE bring it back and don't discontinue it again.

I can't speak to the longevity or projection just yet since I just got this today. I will say though, this is very pretty! To me, it smells just like Kenneth Cole White except maybe a little bit sweeter. I have Kenneth Cole White and I will definitely be layering the two.

i think i have the older formula for this bottle, so this may not be a 1:1 review. i like it! it feels very mysterious like i'm in the woods staring at the beautiful stars (which, i guess is a bit of the point, haha), a bit too sharp for my liking though

i have the purple bottle but it's floral and only slightly fruity it has a small vanilla scent to it

i really thought i would like this when i ordered it online but upon smelling it it's just nothing special. it's not horrible but i don't want to smell like this and i'm going to exchange it for something i know i will like

Woody with great amount of sweetness though. It has some powdery note yes but not like baby powder or a powder bomb like “Moonlight path” by BBW . To my nose it can pair well with the OG juicy couture by juicy couture NOT the viva line. I have the OG Juicy and it is not tuberose heavy like Juicy there is no tuberose in this but that sharpness from Juicys tuberose like a sharpness you get from a honeysuckle fragrance reminds me of twilight woods. It’s the first cousin to OG Juicy Couture . It’s unique I would definitely recommend it to anyone over 25 if you like a sweet wood with a pinch of powder to give it a try. Great from Mid October till March plays best in Cool or Cold temperatures. It could add depth and sweetness to a tart berry fragrance you may have that needs to be sweetened up or help change a berry fragrance to a colder months fragrance that you would otherwise have to wait till spring to revisit. It’s fun by itself or as a topper.

Smells like the inside of a car and makes me dizzy. It’s a feminine scent but borders on unisex. I ended up giving it to my dad, and he likes it.

Cypress and mimosa with a dash of of wild berries, though the fruitiness fades within 30 minutes on me. Although the body spray has minimal sillage, it surprisingly lasts about 2 hours which I find pretty rare for BBW’s newer fragrances. I used to love this back in the early 2010’s but now I find it pretty lackluster, though if you like a soft woody fragrance that isn’t overly sweet, then you might like this! In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ Ariana’s Moonlight: pulls quite floral on me, not woody at all ❌ Nest Golden Nectar: a powdery floral ❌ Sol de Janeiro ‘76: much less sweet and more masculine

Twilight Woods is a b&bw classic scent that still holds up today. it's soft, powdery, woodsy with a subtle berry sweetness. This has more notes than are listed, but all the notes are super well blended. At different times of using the mist, I can pick up on different thinks but the overall accord remains the same. It's not super special with so many options available, but it's a nice scent that most people could enjoy.

Simply enchanting. Woodsy but with a touch of something feminine, although it could be unisex. I’m actually wearing this paired with my Bombshell Oud lotion from VS and I can’t stop sniffing myself. Definitely suited for fall but I’m justifying wearing it right now in mid-summer because I’m spending the rest of the evening in my air conditioned home. This scent brings me great comfort.
