Vanilla Ease

i haven't smelled burberry goddess in a minute, but i have athena currently, and this is definitely similar, but athena has a more dominant jasmine note--like vanilla ease in combination with pink obsessed. to me, this feels slightly more powdery and cozy than athena. even on initial sniff, i thought it was good enough to purchase, but i had a "fall in love" moment when i wore this outside. i was walking and a girl was in front of me, and i was so tempted to run up to her to ask for her fragrance because it was so intoxicating and delicious, but realized that it was actually me. indoors, this is powdery vanilla lavender, and it's very pretty, but when the sun hits your skin and this warms up outside, it becomes this addictive fragrance that has that almost crystalline quality that i love about mon guerlain. the performance of all of the mists in this vanilla line is better than a lot of b&bw's other mists too, especially in comparison to the mists from vs which have gotten so light. one of their best frags for sure.

I am not a huge fan on straight up lavender, and lavender essential oils give me a migraine so I was worried this may not work for me. But I had a free item reward to use so grabbed the mini perfume spray and wow! I don’t just like this, I love it! At first the lavender is very obvious, but after just a few minutes it settles into a beautiful soft, comforting vanilla. It’s a very cozy-feeling scent to me. It sits close to the skin which I prefer since I wear fragrance for me not anyone else. I do wish it lasted longer - I voted moderate but it lasted just about 3 hours so barely into fragrantica’s moderate category. I’ll have to pick up the lotion and try layering with that. I have Burberry goddess and I don’t think this smells like a dupe, but maybe it’s because Goddess is so much stronger and this is soft and airy.

One of my besties sent me more of her unused Bath & Body Works items again, so let's review them! This is the second and final of two in the fourth shipment she's sent my way. Right off the bat I loved this. I'm assuming it's a Burberry Goddess or Rare dupe, to which I am already a fan of that scent profile. Shockingly I'm not mad at the lavender note here-- lavender is a note I typically struggle with as it can come out strangely bitter or salty on my skin, but here it smells like how it should smell. Despite its name this is a lavender-forward scent accented by vanilla instead of a vanilla forward scent. I can see myself wearing this for bedtime or on a cozy day in.

When I smelled this in store, all I got was lavender and I thought it was exactly the same as the aromatherapy that they already have. But once I put the lotion on at home, it was crazy how it dried down instantly into a creamy, beautiful vanilla. I was thinking about pairing it with a couple of vanilla perfumes of mine that have lavender, but I cannot believe, even though Burberry goddess has no lavender in it, how this honestly smells so similar once the lavender goes away. It’s crazy. I can’t believe it and I am so so happy because I love Burberry Goddess so much so happy to have found a lotion that I can pair with it

For reference: I’m a woman in her late 40’s, and I got this as a fine fragrance mist. Opens with a nice blend of vanilla and lavender, with a hint of powder and cedar. The dry down is exactly as described, as a lovely blend of vanilla and lavender, with soft cedar in the background (giving the floral scents depth). Gives a good scent bubble for the first 30-60 minutes, then becomes an intimate scent for the next couple of hours. Lasts a good 4-6 hours on clothes. I absolutely love this, and will be buying another bottle. It does smell strikingly similar to burberry goddess.

In the same vein as Burberry Goddess, only I find this one doesn't have the same animalics in the base. It's a really nice vanilla - well blended, round & slightly fruity/grape-y/purple leaning, although no overt fruit notes. The lavender is tame, and much less forward than Lavender & Vanilla Bath & Body Works (this is also a lot sweeter and more vanillic than Lavender & Vanilla). This would layer well with lavender, vanilla, grape/plum, white floral or suede/leather scents, but I would likely layer it with grape/plum & white-florals. It's a love. Enjoy!

i absolutely LOATHE dupe culture with my whole heart. 99% of the time, it's a poor imitation of an existing scent, and you would have been better off saving your hard-earned dollars on the original. HOWEVER, this scent is the exception. i would say this is the most accurate dupe for burberry goddess. it's a near-exact replication of the scent, even better in my opinion. i would recommend this for anyone who adores lavender, as it's very powerful in this mist.

I purchased the Eau De Parfum travel spray, and to my nose, I'm not getting lavender forward like the body spray tends to be. The perfume version is beautifully blended with a stronger vanilla and it layers perfectly with my preference of Angham (do not own Burberry Goddess as to me, that one IS lavender forward). This lasted on me through the night shockingly. I better stock up to layer with my 2 bottles of Angham! I love this scent profile <3

Smelled this in the store and picked it up- but now wearing it for the first time and I'm even more in love. This is sooo plush and cozy. Creamy lavender vanilla with a hint of beautiful cedarwood. Sillage very good for a Bath and Body works spray- some of them poof fast but this one very much sticks around and reminds you of how lovely it is. I absolutely recommend !!

✧.*🪻🥛🪽🕯️ creamy, soft, so pretty. by far one of my favorite lavender scents. was very skeptical but she’s so good. the vanilla isn’t overpowering that you can’t smell the lavender anymore. even though lavender is a spring scent for me, this one is PERFECTTT for fall. i put it on also before bed. if ur a sleepy princess, this is for u. 5/5

BEAUTIFUL cozy & fluffy vanilla. I wish I got a backup. By far, my favorite bedtime scent. So sleepy and wonderful. The vanilla is very buttercream icing. The lavender isn't like.. super floral. It's more of a gentle undertone being covered (like a soft blanket) by the vanilla. I really just adore this

I did not like this the first time I tested this, for some reason. I recall not vibing with the lavender, which surprised me. Trying it now, it's more well-blended than I remembered. It also layers really well with vanilla romance. I do wish it lasted longer, so I'm going to try the edp next.

I've been super fond of vanilla going into fall, which is very unlike me! I have been wearing this all week and love it. It's soft, comforting, clean, and smells exactly as the notes listed. They blend really nicely and over time still sits as a really creamy vanilla.

Hands down smells like Burberry goddess, and that is my signature fragrance. I love the fact that I can use the moisturizing body wash and body butters to enhance Burberry goddess. My heart shattered when they discontinued it after the holidays💔

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I LOVE THIS SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it's so good it's a very nice subtle non-playful or childish vanilla and very good floral notes or scents added to the mix and all together it is wonderful. 9/10

Vanilla ease just makes me happy. I smile every time I smell it. It’s this sweet, creamy vanilla, lavender and the cedar wood is mimicking nutmeg.This is such a comforting any time scent but is also great to wear to bed.

Vanilla Ease is very good! It is a perfect dupe for Burberry Goddess. I bought all of the body care to layer with my Burberry Goddes perfume and it lasts all day.

This smells like a frothy London fog warming your hands on a chilly morning. It is soft, relaxing, milky and dreamy. The poor projection is the only downfall.

To me this smells like a more fruity and powdery version of Burberry Goddess. It is softer and has less lavender and ginger. Very nice.

I started to wear Angham and suddenly I like lavender fragrances. I use this along with Angham, which is much less lavender focused.

This is a very okay scent. If you like sour vanillas, you might like it, but it smells quite cheap to me. I got the set as a gift and I loved the body cream, but the perfume and body mist are leaving me a little cold, though I don't hate them by any means. What surprises me is that Rare Beauty Rare smells exactly like this, but is sold at a much higher price (and in a rather ugly bottle). For a higher quality version of both of these scents, try No 15 Vanille Infinie by Maison Louis Marie, where the lemon and vanilla are separate rather than blended together.

Almost identical to Burberry Goddess and Rare which is why I blind bought it during their SAS. I love both of those scents, so this is the perfect body care scent to layer with them. I’m still not positive how fragrances with such different notes can be almost identical, but the 3 of them really are. I’m also getting a similarity to Guerlain Mon Guerlain and BBW Moonlit Goddess (which is another one I got during their SAS sale along with Vanilla Café, and I really like all 3 of them)

Vanilla Ease EDP is a very slightly lighter, less ginger-y version of Lattafa's Angham. Both are dupes of Burberry Goddess, and both are better! Angham lasts a long time on my skin, and I usually refresh it with Vanilla Ease, or layer the two together outright. It has a sweet and creamy lavender at the forefront, supported by a soft and fluffy vanilla. Does not smell herbal or medicinal, doesn't have the sharp ginger note. Beautiful scent!

Cream soda with a sprig of lavender! On me, the lavender and vanilla are very subtle...I can’t smell any cedar at all. Longevity is good for a body spray on me, about 6 hours. Am I the only one getting a fizzy cream soda sent from this? Effervescent, scintillating...I love it!! Vanilla Ease is a calm, subtle, comforting fragrance. It makes feel happy. Easy to wear and enjoy! 😄 P.S.: Fragrantica, please list cream soda as a note!

I am not typically one to love lavender scents because they tend to lean too aromatherapy-like, but I decided to give this a try, and I love it! It's not complex, but is a pleasant, inoffensive scent. To my nose, it's like a marshmallowy sweet lavender vanilla scent that is very airy and soft, more powdery than floral. It opens up with the lavender and then dries down to a light powdery vanilla, very pretty!

Sweet, creamy, and dreamy. It feels like a lighter take on Angham. It's soft and comforting without being heavy. Perfect for daytime wear in spring, summer, or even year-round, and very office safe. I’m usually not a lavender fan, but Vanilla Ease and Moonlit Goddess are so beautiful. Both are smooth, sweet, and creamy, not very herbal. Love! 7/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 6/10

at first i was kinda meh abt this but then i smelled angham on my coworker and couldn’t get over how nice it smelled. i remembered i have this is in a mini and sprayed it on my skin and omg its sooo good. idk if id like angham or goddess better bc i haven’t personally tried them, but if you didn’t like this in the winter maybe it try it now that it’s getting warmer out

Beautiful comforting calming vanilla lavender. It reminds me a little of their aromatherapy lavender vanilla collection but it’s more perfumey and sweet. You need to like lavender to enjoy this one. I am using it before bed as I find it very calming. This will be even better in the fall and colder months . This is not a gourmand vanilla at all.

It's like a 1:1 with Angham, except not as intense (especially without the "kick" that middle eastern fragrances have). It's very pleasant, I like the floral and vanilla mix for a more feminine and delicate scent. It gives me a "cute girl walking through lavender fields in the morning" vibe.

Instant ringer for burberry goddess. I purchased w the swiftness. And yeah it’s not an identical copy w the exact nuance, its a bath and body works body mist, and it performs as such 🙄🙄 But it smells great nd will be perfect for layering.

Does anyone know if this is similar to the criminally discontinued No. 3 Lavender from 2024? I’ve been desperately hoping that BBW would bring it back.🥲🙏🏻

This fragrance smells more like lavender than vanilla, it is a good fragrance for everyday use, especially in daytime. It smells very "clean girl" for me.

This is a more mild, much lighter version of Burberry Goddess. They smell very similar. Although Vanilla Ease is less herbal/aromatic and more creamy.

To me this smells exactly like lush sleepy. Very nice :)

smells just like athena maybe slightly sweeter

I have Athena, and this smells exactly like it. Athena is a dupe for Burberry Goddess, which I don't own. I keep meaning to pick up Burberry Goddess, but I'm so please with Athena I just haven't done it. This mist has the same "zing" that Athena has, it's almost a minty smell. I'm not wild about lavender so I'm glad it's pretty well blended and toned down in this.

There is something really sweet in this, and it kind of clashes with the aromatic lavender. It's not the vanilla because the vanilla and lavender lotion from the spa line is a beautiful realistic lavender. I suppose it's the "cedarwood" which means it's not real cedar, which is not sweet at all. At this point I'm going to assume all their wood scents aren't real.

This one smells very similar to Lavender Iris from the aromatherapy collection from a few years ago, i get the lavender note first but then the cedarwood gets more noticeable once it’s settling down on my skin. Very pretty and relaxing but not lavender enough for my liking, I’ll stick to Lavender/Lavender Luxe..💜

This smells way more like Mon Guerlain than Burberry Goddess. It's a calming scent that lasts about 10 minutes.

Nothing like Burberry goddess! It smells grassy and not at all the soft lavender i was expecting, barely any vanilla. Extremely herbal and a scent I wish I could love since I love lavender, but I can't. It's just so grassy to me.

distressingly sweet and fragrant to me. SCREAMS lavender, which is kind of antithetical to its use in aromatherapy. not like i believe that stuff anyway! sharp, floral, makes you feel sticky

Smells like strong lavender soap..

The accords list sums this one up pretty succinctly. It's a sweet, dreamy lavender-vanilla confection, with a subtle woody-velvet zestiness in the undertone. For the first twenty minutes or so, the creaminess of the main vanilla accord is quite rich, and is met by the powdery, aromatic, watercolor sweetness of the lavender. I also get some nice floral and anisette nuances. Overall, the whole thing feels pleasingly confectionary and indulgent. As things dry down, the composition flattens out some, gradually veering into the more monotone territory of a gourmand-scented body lotion or hair conditioner—perhaps with a name like 'London Fog Birthday Cake.' It's not really for me (I literally found a brand new bottle of it abandoned on a curb at midnight, which is the only reason I'm reviewing it, and I will probably now leave it in the lobby of my building for someone else to enjoy). However, I think if you're a body spray girlie who wants a confectionary vanilla-lavender gourmand scent, this is a great option at a steal of a price.

At first, I loved it. So I bought it. It was a split second decision. And then I wore it, and it was a bit fleeting. I wasn't sure. Maybe it was too weak? But I got the lavender. I thought I might just return it for something I could smell more. I tried again. And then I could smell - that this is well blended and it's beautiful. And upon the dry down - I do smell what (a beloved scent) Burberry Goddess gives me. It's there. I never thought this could ever be a dupe - for THAT. I wish it was stronger, but it's a subtle feminine powerhouse. It's a win. On the skin, as a skin scent, at least mine, it smells gorgeous.

This smells like Mon Guerlain way more than it smells like Burberry Goddess!! Burberry Goddess, which I've owned and even have a backup bottle of lol, is a rich warm vanilla based perfume with hints of lavender but the rich warm vanilla is the star. There is way more lavendery just like Mon Guerlain is, but with hints of vanilla to cut the bitterness, however I think the notes are more equally ratioed in this and in Mon Guerlain compared to BG. This smells just like Mon Guerlain which is the (OG) lavender vanilla that came out way before BG! They do all smell alike but they're not spot on dupes.

I deleted my previous review because my reaction to Vanilla Ease changed so drastically over time. My conclusion after wearing it in EDP, fragrance mist, lotion and body butter is that it’s very little vanilla, too sharp for me on its own but is a great base for blending other vanilla favorites with that might not have as much projection and oomph. My all-time favorite Angel Wings from Somethin’ Special blends beautifully with Vanilla Ease! The soft baby powder and gentle vanilla from Angel Wings tames the lavender and VE elevates the power of AW’s gorgeous fragrance.

It's a mix between Burberry goddess and vanilla 28. I personally do not see how anyone could be bothered by the lavender as 1. It's really not that strong and 2. This fragrance is so weak you could drink it. It's a beautiful scent but God damn i sprayed this all over myself and within 5 minutes I couldn't smell it anymore. It's really such a waste of packaging and money. I wish it lasted longer but yeah I'm going to declutter it because it makes me angry. I cant speak for the perfume but don't waste 50 dollars on it. Just get angham.

When I can smell this I really love it. At first I smell the lavender 🪻 front and center but then it calms down and there's a softly sweet vanilla and dare I say something that just barely hints at chocolate? It's not a gourmand vanilla, nor floral or musky. The vanilla is pure like extract. Now for some reason I go nose blind to this scent very quickly. I've sprayed my skin and my shirt and I can't really smell it anymore. I will try the EDP and lotion and hopefully I will get more longevity because I am really enjoying this blend.

i bought the perfume spray instead of the mist so i might have a different experience with this one. i immediately get lavender with the softest touch of vanilla. i haven’t smelled burberry goddess in a long time but i’m almost positive it differs from it. goddess is more of a “monster” vanilla , while this is just straight up lavender , almost grassy and a tiny bit floral. projects really nicely but does need some over spraying to make it fill up a room. lasts on the skin better with lotion. makes for a nice calming bed time scent.
