Vanilla Noir

I bought this fragrance about a year ago after having tried it in a brick and mortar B&BW store, but put it into storage after picking up a bottle of Liquid Brun, as it's superior in scent profile and longevity. I revisited it a few months ago and realized that there was more too it than I first thought. VN also has a striking resemblance to Lafayette Street from Bond No. 9. I tried wearing it again once the weather started to warm up and I have changed my rating to reflect the change in sentiment. This is almost like a mix between PDM Althaïr and Lafayette Street that strikes such a perfect balance. I really like Liquid Brun a bit more, but this is much more wearable with the balance towards the fresh notes and less on the sweet notes. Decent longevity (6+ hours) and projection but definitely needs a few more sprays then I'd normally wear with most of my frags. I think this is fine for early Spring and cooler nights. Unisex leaning masculine.

So glad that B&BW has come out with this. It is an absolute banger. First time I smelled this I was at work. A delivery guy was dropping stuff off and I asked him what he was wearing? He told me and where it was from. I couldn't believe it. B&BW?!?! The scent trail this thing leaves is unworldly. It is very vanilla forward with just the perfect amount of that bergamot spice and the musk from the patchouli. The performance of this is not good. Spray it 10 times it goes away in 4 hours, but GD it is good. I know it will never happen. If B&BW reformulated this in a EDP or Parfum. Game over. Vanilla Noir Bath & Body Works summary: Performance - 5/10 Projection 2 - 3 ft with an amazing scent trail. Smell - 10/10

I own this, it's pretty solid! I initially thought it was a dupe of Parfums de Marley Althaïr, yet a much lighter airier one. The DNA is unmistakable but this one leans more on the bergamot and vanilla and less on the woodier notes, but after more time with it, I can definitely see the similarities to Lafayette Street. It's almost an Althaïr/Lafayette hybrid. Good work with this one. I have owned it for almost a year now but have only worn it a handful of times. I'm going to get really adventurous and try wearing this one in the heat this week. I will report back with my findings!

Definitely a great budget grab and go fragrance for the colder weather, if you can get it at 35 bucks when B&BW drops a sale on their Male perfume line. Decent projection and lasts about 5 hours or so, my wife LOVES it. Even pulled a few compliments from a few coworkers and even some strangers here and there. While I've yet to put my nose to Lafayette Street or Althair, this gives me Mercedes-Benz Club Black EDT vibes, but with more spice lingering under the vanilla.

My boyfriend wears this and i really like it. The vanilla distinguishes it from the typical "man" smell that a lot of men's colognes have and makes it stand out more.

I love it. I have the whole line, I really hope B&BW don't discontinue this because this scent is easily my favorite of the entire "Men's Shop."

This and Bourbon have earned me compliments from my coworkers, I really enjoy how unique it smells. It's a nice simple scent.

This one is so good and l love it but unfortunately it's edc dose any one know and edt perfume that smells like it?

Bravo B&BW! Wow! This is awesome. The spices are just right against a plush wall of vanilla. Slightly masculine, yes...there's a fresh colonge-y musk undercurrent to this too. This never verges into cloying territory. Sometimes B&BW stuff is too sweet, but this is less sugary than many other male-marketed things lately. It's really quite tasteful. It smells more like cinnamon to me, but ultimately it kind of just feels like "fall spice" in general. It evokes a peaceful mindset for me, and it's absolutely asking to be worn in autumn sunlight! Is it super unique? Not really, but it's a good overall fall fragrance, and extremely well-priced for what you get out of it. If you wore this out, I hardly think a soul would assume it's B&BW...unless it's someone who is actually aware that B&BW is capable of better than they're often credited for (like myself, I'll go to bat for B&BW any day of week). It smells lovely, and is not at all junky or tacky. And yes, I'm *that* woman who will go on stealing sprays of this 🙃 It's moreso on the masculine side, but still flexible enough that I'm comfortable in it too.

I wish I could put this cologne into the love category, but I have to put it in the like for one reason only, the LONGEVITY. This cologne is simply magnificent but it's here for a good time not a long time, 2 hours at max. I think this would fit more of a date night setting than a daily user because of the longevity issue. Despite the longevity issue I recommend this cologne.

I like this a lot. The patchouli is heavy, rounded out with the vanilla. It still remains fresh enough which I believe makes it a great year round fragrance.

I got a generous sample of this. I didn’t realize when I tested it, it was men’s perfume. When I smelled it, it came off more masculine to me, especially with the spices. It’s definitely not a bad scent. I just prefer feminine fragrances.

😻SWAPPING BRAND NEW BOTTLE! I’m an avid collector, this is the full size tower of fragrance from last year so it’s a bit stronger, throws a bit further & lasts a bit longer than the round bottles from ‘25 Blind bought as per usual, beautiful BUT masculine beauty. Not unisex to my nose. Also 1/2 bottle of COFFEE ☕️ & WHISKEY 🥃 (not 4 oz bottle I believe- 2 oz left) including a brand new tube of body cream & on that was used without ever touching the ‘nozzle’ part (I hold them a foot or so above my hand when dispensing) Not picky, I’m good with partial bottles, less of something more $ whether bbw, designer, Arabian etc - I can tell you what you can use your rewards on if you don’t have anything to swap...
