Whipped Rose Latte

Cold coffee. Sugared rose petals. Foam on top. There’s nothing quite like Whipped Rose Latte in my opinion. I still remember the first time I wore it. It was a rainy day, and I had gone to pick up a perfume. I usually don’t wear just a mist when I am out and about but that day I wanted something light because I’d be testing new perfumes later. But Whippe Rose Latte surprised me. I kept getting whiffs every now and then, and before I knew it, I was looking for similar scents that came in a perfume form. Which is how I ended up with both Mancera Roses Vanille and Zara Rose Gourmand. I also ended up decluttering both because neither smelled quite the same to me, majorly lacking in the whole cold foamy coffee thing that Whipped Rose Latte has. And yes, I also had Whipped Rose Vanilla but I don’t know - I can smell subtle differences there too. Tonight I’m wearing Whipped Rose Latte layered with the body cream for Whipped Rose Vanilla and I can’t stop sniffing myself. There’s just something about this scent that makes me wanna douse myself in it and stay with my nose buried in my arm. Warm, cozy, comforting. Sigh.

This gives soft, classy girl vibes for sure. Every time I spray her, either chocolate is most prominent, or that vanillic whipped foam. But rose usually takes the back seat, which I enjoy. The whipped foam is really creamy and frothy smelling, the rose is faint and powdery as it is featured in just rose from BBW, but less rose water-y. The cacao note reminds me of chocolate seashell shaped candies my grandmother used to buy around Christmas time. This is a perfect blend of the notes promised, and I can imagine would be pretty inoffensive. it also reminds me so much of dahlia, it smells perfumey and more expensive than a body mist. Dahlia and WRL are both creamy, gourmand florals that could pass as high end perfumes. But to me personally, dahlia is more luxurious smelling and WRL is more versatile as it can pass as a relaxing in the house scent too. projection: 7/10 longevity: 8/10 fragrance: 9/10 true to notes: 10/10 packaging: 10/10

at first I was very curious of its name, I was having second thoughts because I was like, "oh it's rose - this might smell like an old lady", but thankfully enough - this one smells like a soft vanilla, chocolatey rose; for me it gives classy vibes. I gave this to my aunt as a birthday gift, she likes it too. honestly at first sniff I was surprised - I think I was surprised of the mixture of cocoa and rose. and then when I've smelled it again I become to like it much more. the scent really lives up to its name, and I really enjoy it. the rose in this is comforting, relaxing and really soft - yet I do think with this kind of scent profile its longevity will be weak. therefore dousing yourself in this will be a good option for a much more satisfying longevity. honestly, I might purchase another bottle for my collection. ♡

This is the scent that made me fall in love with rose. This is a chocolate rose. It's so pretty. I also have Zara Rose Gourmand and this is sooooo much better. To me, the Zara one had no cocoa and smells musty. Wish they had this year round.

Perfect dupe for mancera's rose vanille just lacks the projection and longevity, I practically bath myself in this every time I use it
