Wrapped in Vanilla

Notes on bottle: soft vanilla, velvet sugar, Chantilly cream Sweet, vanilla, lactonic, powdery, balsamic, luminous, feminine, sensual, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, delicious, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting A super cozy and comforting slightly buttery vanilla. I read another review that described the butter scent as “the smell of browning butter” which I really do agree with. So overall, This has a kind of vanilla yellow cake-like scent to it with the browning butter, fluffy Chantilly cream, and balsamic undertones. It does have somewhat of a sugar cookie scent to it. This is one of the B&BW fragrances that I had missed out on whenever they launched it, so when it returned this year for the SAS I was there the first day to grab it. I also picked up Blush Cardigan, Neapolitan Ice Cream, Open Sky, Warm Musk, Inner Angel, Black Amethyst (for nostalgias sake), and more Cashmere Glow, Coastal Dreams, Meet Me in Miami, and Cotton Candy Clouds. They really had some amazing fragrances this summer, and for the SAS sale. Wrapped in Vanilla is my favorite from the throwbacks for the SAS along with Cashmere Glow. It’s such a delightfully cozy and sweet vanilla that wears beautifully alone, as well as pairs perfectly with other vanillas, especially the body care. I do get some similarities to Fresh Cream, Secret Crush, and Bare Vanilla, but they’re nothing close to a dupe. To me this feels very feminine, and suitable for women of any age. I think it works best during the colder weather of fall and winter. This feels most fitting for casual occasions as well as for work/school. The body care works for any occasion, especially paired with another vanilla perfume. I already particularly enjoy it with Kayali Vanilla 28. Sweet, vanilla, lactonic, powdery, balsamic, feminine, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting It’s definitely very vanilla forward, and almost vanilla extract like (the OG VS Vanilla Lace is very vanilla extract like, and one of the best fragrances ever). It also has a delicate creamy lactonic scent from the Chantilly cream, and I do get something woody (maybe sandalwood?) which helps to round it out some. Overall, I think it smells like warm sugar cookies. I’m surprised that I’m not more impressed with this one. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely a lovely vanilla, and I do enjoy it a lot. I guess I’ve just heard so much about it over the past couple years that I expected something more? Something different? I’m not entirely sure. I was super impressed with Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds, Fireside Flurries, Bonfire Bash, and Cotton Candy Clouds which were all ones that I either sought out second hand, or in the case of Cotton Candy Clouds, purchased during its return. So, I know it’s not just something being over hyped in my mind. To me, Wrapped in Vanilla smells almost like vanilla cookies, and I wasn’t really expecting that. Like I said, I definitely really enjoy it, and am very happy to have finally gotten it, but it’s not something that would be worth hunting down after running out of it. I do think it’s absolutely still worth grabbing, especially during the SAS! It’s a wonderful addition to my collection, and I’m super happy to have it in the mist and body lotion! You’ll most likely enjoy it if you’re a fan of vanillas and/or gourmands. It’s easy to like, and definitely an easy reach. It does remind me somewhat of LoveShackFancy Secret Crush (a major love for me!), but Secret Crush is obviously more complex, and less cookie-like. They’re going to pair beautifully together, especially Secret Crush with the Wrapped in Vanilla lotion. To me this definitely feels feminine, and suitable for women of all ages. It does have a slightly youthful vibe to it, but the body care will work wonderfully with most vanillas, and it will layer nicely with them, especially if you want to add a sweet gourmand vanilla. It’s super cozy and comforting, so it’s really perfect for the fall and winter. fragrance notes: soft vanilla, velvet sugar and chantilly crème My all time favorite scent! I so wish they had a perfume of this. This is to die for! Luscious creamy whipped cream scent.. perfect if you want to smell like a walking bakery 🧁 If I could have one body mist for the rest of my life to wear everyday, it’d be this. I do not think this is overhyped at all IMO. It deserves more hype if anything.. 😅 it is so edible and gourmand and the layering combinations are ENDLESS! As this opens up.. I smell vanilla confetti sparkle DNA. Then I get hit with a blast of that buttered popcorn scent from joy sugared snickerdoodle. As it dries down more, I’m left with a very very sweet sugary fragrance. It’s literally a sugar note, on top of a sugar note, on top of a sugary sugar note, and then vanilla. I don’t pick up on much “pure” vanilla honestly, more like straight up whipped cream. It smells like pixie sticks candy if they had a birthday cake flavor. It also smells like fruit loops with cupcake frosting. Honestly I feel like the title is very misleading, as well as the notes. It is very unique smelling, and I must agree that I get that jammy fruity scent too although no fruits are listed in scent notes.. if you layer pink chiffon and vanilla confetti sparkle together you’d come up with something similar to wrapped in vanilla. But wrapped in vanilla still has more bakery to it than VCS. Also, I had my husband smell this without telling him the name or scent notes. He said it smells like brown sugar and vanilla. edit: this is raspberry jam donut without the raspberry :) projection: 6/10 longevity: 7/10 fragrance: 10/10 true to notes: 9/10 packaging: 8/10

The one season I went on hiatus from B&BW this beauty came and went.. since 2022 I have longed to smell her—I have heard so many good things! Talk about the one that got away..so naturally when I saw her come back for SAS I knew this would be the chance to redeem myself<3 You guys were NOT lying and WIV was absolutely worth the hype! Good things DO come to those who wait <3<3 I have seen reviews that compare this to Merry Cookie and Christmas Cookies. In my opinion they are not the same. In both MC & CC there is a distinct cookie note that pulls scratchy to my nose. WIV is much smoother and has a perfume vibe—not strictly edible. Mind you, I am a vanilla connoisseur and have a very sensitive nose that can detect even the slightest variations among vanillas. It’s creamy, smooth, sensual, cozy.. simply delectable. I am so glad I bought a backup while they’re still available. I am SO satisfied— welcome home WIV!

Although it's a vanilla gourmand and there are many other mists that are similar or in the same category, I can't think of anything exactly like this. On my skin, it's just pure creamy white frosting. It's not a "cake" sweetness, but really just a sugary, glazed, frosting/icing smell. There isn't anything "perfumy" about this, but I personally find it to be the best vanilla I've tried from BBW. Of course, it isn't going to be long-lasting but layering it with the lotion will give you a good run. As much as I love it and it's one of my favorites, it isn't worth the bazillions of dollars that they're going for from 3rd party sellers. I love the new Iced Lemon Pound Cake that's currently out right now just as much as this. I absolutely hope it comes back though!

i got this like most others because it was being hyped as B&BW’s best vanilla scent and as a vanilla fanatic i had to try it. and i'm here to say that yeah it’s a winner!! i absolutely agree with the comments that say that this kind of smells like christmas cookies/cheirosa 71 just more sugary but that’s why i love it🤤 those scents for me were all buttery cookie dough and no sweetness so to me wrapped in vanilla is the perfect variation of this scent profile. it’s pretty strong and fairly long lasting for just a mist&lotion and i would say for a good 4-5 hours i can still smell this in the air. also this pairs amazingly well with almost any gourmand fragrance, i just wouldn’t spray too much because it can overpower some scents pretty easily.

I have one bottle of "Wrapped In Vanilla"! An ex co worker gave me hers! Cause she didn't use it! I didn't know how MUCH I'd love it! It layers SO well! I've layered it wit "Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar"! On a whim! Ma mama told me I smelled sweet! One day ma cousin was doin ma hair! She told me I smelled like caramel! I've also layered "Wrapped In Vanilla"! Wit "Bare Vanilla"! Ma step mama asked if I had donuts and danishes! I said, "No, it's ma perfume!" I'm OBSESSED wit "Wrapped In Vanilla"! "BBW" doin us DIRTY! By not releasin it again! They should get rid of "Warm Vanilla Sugar"! Replace it "Wrapped In Vanilla" instead!🤷🏽♀️🤭💓

A sweet, edible gourmand vanilla! There is this graham cracker essence in this fragrance that gives off a dry-sugary texture. I get a slight hint of a fruity undertone in the opening but goes away in the dry down. There is also a bit of a lactonic note coming from the chantilly cream--Im so glad it does not come off as sour or rancid on my skin but settles into a more of a "toasted marshmallow" on my skin. I love this body mist and wish there was a perfume version! The longevity is not the greatest though.

I didn't use this for months because it smelled so much like buttery graham crackers to me so in my closet it remained, until last night. I sprayed it before going to bed and Hallelujah! I finally smelled the delicious cream that people are talking about. I'm wearing it to work now, layered with WVS, and I do declare, I smell totally scrumptious, I am obsessed. It might not project so greatly but I can smell it well and good on myself and that's what matters to me.

i am so happy i finally got this. this is so good! this is a creamy, sweet whipped cream vanilla. it starts out creamy with a little cookie, almost like cookies and cream. warms down into a creamy whipped cream and a little tiny fruity tone. its so yummy, and it smells like how body fantasies cupcake swirl should have smelt like. (it smells really similar to that without ANY spice) i really love this!! perfect for fall and winter

Probably the best pure Vanilla smell ever! It’s a very simple smell and doesn’t last more than an hour on the skin, but it’s so worth it just because of the smell! I found layering it with perfumes that have a sweet vanilla base is the way to go. The best combos I have found are Born In Roma and Very Good Girl

I don’t get any butter, captain crunch, or popcorn from this. It is a sweet spicy vanilla that reminds me of a fall candle. There is an almond or praline aspect that makes it very warm and cozy. Overall smells like a warm cake with spices, and a hint of buttercream frosting maybe

The BEST vanilla B&BW has come out with in a long time and then they discontinued it so quick & haven't brought it back since :( I honestly am over B&BW lately & this doesnt help smh. I'm savoring the one body spray I have & using it sparingly until they decide to bring it back.

They are bringing this back for SAS (June 15th) and I will be ready to purchase at least 8 sets because I have spent some money purchasing this from Mercari and Poshmark since it was discontinued!!! I have two original bottles left that I can now freely use!

bought it for a higher price than i would’ve wanted😅😅 super buttery vanilla, though! incredibly warm and sweet gourmand — very much like buttercream frosting on a cupcake. great for layering and hopefully bbw brings this back so it’s more accessible!

This is such a rich, buttery vanilla with an undertone of fruitiness. I almost get buttercream frosting. This is a gourmand but not too sugary, surprisingly. It's got a lot of warmth and coziness to it.

Yummy vanilla custard. This to me is a true gourmand. Buttery-creamy-sugary goodness. The body cream is also amazing. Both layered together will put you in danger of getting devoured by pastry lovers.

A warm Buttery vanilla. Not much to it and that's why I love it. I wear this often as a bed time scent or when I'm not in the mood to smell like something complex. It's just warm and cozy. Love it.

Straight up vanilla frosting, super sweet & cozy. Smells almost identical to Treaclemoon's 'Vanilla Moment' shower gel 🩷🧁 Unfortunately it doesn't project much! :(

Smells like melted sugarr. I loove it. Its better than warm vanilla sugar imo
