Spanish Fig and Nutmeg

I have been in the market for a summer/sport cologne lately and when shopping for shaving soap at Model Pharmacy today, one of the staff gave me a spritz of this. I think it's what I've been after. Very heavy with cooling alcohol and bright nutmeg spice at first, putting it in the aftershave/bay rum category in my mind. But when it dried down, out came exotic fruit , floral and soapy scents with that deep complex spice note still reverberating. A female co-worker liked it and described it as "clean." I think it's a bit more than that. Not your dad's bay rum, for sure, and a welcome switch from the oceans of "sport" and "aquatic" colognes at Sephora. I love it. I imagine it at its best in summer months, daytime, when active, at the gym, etc. Stays close to the skin but doesn't quit but lasts. Right where it should be. And price makes it a pretty good value.

Lovely autumn/winter scent, feels quite christmassy but has a freshness to it that makes it more versatile, warm but also jammy& juicy. I'm not super into gourmand fragrances so this is what I wear when I want something sweet.

This smells good. I had hoped it would be warmer than it is, but I still like it. It's airy and fresh, with only a hint of warmth to me. Yes, nutmeg and yes, fig. I like it, but it's not for everyday as I'd hoped. it might work differently with male body chemistry. Im a female and I actually bought this to try to recapture the scent of a certain person's aftershave on me after we'd spend time together. ;) It didn't quite work for that, but I still enjoy the scent.

Best longevity out of all of the Bath House fragrances I have tested, as I can still smell it after 4 or 5 hours. Good value. Simple but sophisticated.
