I have a sample of this perfume. It lasts around 8 hours, which, taking into account that it is a very citrus perfume, is very good. With a high intensity the first 2 hours and then at medium intensity. Of course it is a perfume that begins with an important citrus aroma, but soon you begin to feel many nuances in the perfume, the most fruity trees are not sweet, they are like fruity acid, like strawberries, but the most important thing is the aromatic herbal part that will accompany to citrus notes. This set makes the perfume have a very large projection. I want to highlight the delicious olfactory set of citrus with eucalyptus, of course there is much more but it is extremely pleasant. When time passes, about two hours, the citrus fruits lower the intensity, but they always remain as if they were the scrapes of the citrus rinds, on the herbal part, eucalyptus, vetiver, patchouli ... and the floral notes give it delicacy , highlighting the neroli. Unisex? It is totally a perfume that I cannot say is more masculine or feminine, a perfume for those who enjoy its aroma. Does it have peculiarities? I think it is a perfume that does not have particularly strange aromas to highlight in its aromas, to point out something, is that it is a perfume for people who enjoy the citrus and herbal aroma, without more, very fresh, very clean, very pleasant. ..

Wonderful freshie. Citrus Riviera (CR) starts with a blast of citruses, mixed with fresh aromatic green notes, & touch of soft white flowers that add beautiful tenderness to the scent. The lemon sourness is softened with the orange note, creating a zesty fresh citrus accord without the sharpness. As it dries down, the water note starts to come forward, giving the scent a watery & little sharp classic aquatic smell. The neroli note is not overt & in the combination smells like a toned down seaweed note. Citrusy, fresh, green, leafy, white floral, aromatic, aquatic. CR is a very fresh scent, mixing citruses, water, & green aromatic notes for a very invigorating scent. It smells so calming & pleasing. It smells like a garden in bloom filled with lemon & jasmine trees with fresh water springs running through it. It is really nice. This is in the vein of Bvlgari Aqva. However, while Aqva is the sea water fragrance, CR is the fresh water, riverside rendition. While this is not a ground breaking scent, which is hard to create with fresh scents to begin with, CR is a very beautiful summer scent that would definitely please any nose. It is just very loveable! Summer time, any age, any sex wear. I "Love" it.

I am in love with this zesty, bright, airy, slightly aquatic sunshine scent. I don't think there are any aquatic notes in there, but since it's like a fresh sea breeze with wafts of tart citrus, it gives off the implication of water. That could be the juices of citrus fruits being squeezed and not sea water. I love how well it is blended, how natural the ingredients smell, and how expensive it feels. It's the high quality that makes it stand out from others with the same or similar scent profile. Yes, I have smelled this smell many times before, but it's usually much more synthetic. This is incredibly refreshing to my nose, and makes me feel like I'm being transported somewhere else. I first tried it over a year ago and have never forgotten about it. I'm not sure why I haven't bought a full bottle yet, but I intend to. Very unisex, straightforward, no nonsense citrus freshie. Full bottle worthy because it makes me feel happy and carefree when I wear it.

Though this is a summer frag, I find myself reaching for this over and over during the winter. The realistic lemon note, combined with an aquatic accord, is as invigorating as a Mediterranean breeze. At $220 new, it’s expensive, but smells expensive as well. I purchased this after asking for an aquatic fragrance at Scentbar NYC (a must-see if you are ever in Manhattan), and while I think the ultimate aquatic for me is still out there, I am more than happy with my purchase and have used up 30% of the bottle after a year of ownership. It just makes me feel happy! I am so curious about the other scents in their Collection Azur that I may even blind-buy once I save up some more cash. I understand Rouge Smoking is “the fragrance to buy” from this house, but I doubt anyone will be too disappointed with this perfume. And no, I do not get the celery scent that others are complaining about— not even in the slightest sense.

Nice overall scent, it includes strawberry and white florals and yet somehow manages to stay completely unisex. It's not your typical summer fragrance, and contrary to the name it isn't dominated by citruses. Very soft, and very....nostalgic? There's a familiarity that brings me back to the 80's but it's hard to put my finger on it. Suntan lotion vibes without coconut, and it puts you in the mood. I can see why some say it reminds them of M Di Amalfi, as they can be cousins, but each are distinct in their own ways. It's performance is mixed, it's not the type of scent profile that favors strong projection. It's more of a short scent bubble type fragrance, minimal sillage and average freshie longevity. I give it a 4 based on longevity and price point, I like the scent but these are some of the factors that don't make it a 5 for me.

Citrus Riviera is perfect for the high heat in the summer and definitely an underrated release from BDK. It opens primarily with a sharp lemon and soft neroli, with touches of sweet mandarin and a slightly earthy fig. It then develops into a soft composition of green, aquatic notes and florals - with a whisper of sweet strawberry. This fragrance is very soft and delicate, which is partly what makes is so pleasant to wear. It’s very smooth and well blended, and the materials smell high quality - however it does not last long on the skin at all unfortunately. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable scent to wear but I wouldn’t recommend paying retail for it simply due to the lack of longevity. However don’t let that take away from the fact that it’s a very good fragrance.

Very good but takes time to really understand like with most niche fragrances the Italian citrus Italian orange and vetiver notes are sharp almost like a sour vibe this throws a lot of people off but after some time its dies down and lifted with sweet strawberry and tonka bean it’s turn from a ok sour smell to a secret blended masterpiece very underrated but the rating threw me off but I have learned to like what I like and try it for myself and I suggest you do the same Smell 9.1/10 Projection 7.8/10 Sillage 7.2/10 Layering 9.8/10 Overall 8.5

First of this is an amazing fragrance. It opens with beautiful citrus fruits together with patchouli and vetiver and of course the florals. Before I got the scent I was scared that the florals would make this fragrance too feminine but that is not the case. The florals help with giving a better depth for the scent without taking over which I haven’t seen many fragrances do. IMO: Scent 8.5/10 Performance: 7/10 Wearability: 9/10 Price: 9/10 (150$ for 100 ml is a steal)

Very beautiful and aquatic - like a breath of fresh air off the amalfi coast (no I have never been there, but you get me haha). It is sooo similar to Replica Sailing Day. I'm surprised this has not been voted in the similar perfumes, so I just did. I get plenty of compliments on Sailing Day, and I'm sure this will get many compliments. It's unisex and you smell super clean, fresh, slightly summery, breezy and most of all aquatic! Love those unique scents.

For lovers of fresh fragrances, Citrus Riviera could be one of the safest and most satisfying choices. I wouldn’t say there is anything truly unique here, but it is very well valanced -bright citrus, clean green notes, a subtle aquatic feeling and a polished woody musky base. It smells expensive and well made, not cheap or sharp like many fresh scents can be. Simple but elegant and very nicely tailored 7/10

A great citrusy-white floral fragrance. Bright at the opening with the with citrusy and green notes. Then the white florals take over seamlessly giving the illusion that the citrus lasts longer than it actually does. I will say, I'm not a fan of white floral fragrances, but this is an exception. Also similar to Rirana Salty Citrus, but not as metallic and sharp with a bit more complexity.

Orange heaven to me, totally uplifting, totally unisex. I see why some people could think it is more masculine but i only like feminine, light scents and i have no problem with this one so i do not think its masculine. Summer, fresh fragrance, would not buy FB for my short summer season in Germany though. Would purchese at Pafory the travel size instead.

Beautiful. I cannot stop smelling this. Incredibly fresh, watery citrus opening softened by a subtle fog accord cocooned by a supremely comforting base of tonka, patchouli, vetiver and just a touch of musk. I reject the narrative that this is a strictly or strongly masculine fragrance and will loudly and proudly be wearing this this summer.

I'm confused by the reviews that say this is a straight lemon citrus scent. I smell something gently spicy right off the bat. I definitely smell the fig, vetiver, and patchouli -- supporting the fresh lemon and mandarin. Leans masculine and the citrus is the star, but there is some depth. Also -- decent longevity for a freshy.

I enjoy this scent, very citrus, while in the dry down I get some sort of animalic note, i belive it’s most likely from the patchouli. I don’t get any strawberry (which i was kinda looking forward to) so that’s kinda sad. I actually think this is not worth the price point if I am going to be completely transparent.

It seems simple... But it isn't... Using this perfume is a real experience. You can't draw conclusions with 1 or 2 sprays... Although it smells divine from the beginning... But believe me... You have to use it to understand what I'm talking about. And whoever does will understand. Very good! ❤️

A beauty. This is a more masculine take on Mandarino di Amalfi Acqua. Very joyful, floral, tranquil, and elegant. Great name for a fragrance as well. As the picture I imagine, is sitting at a cafe, enjoying a ristretto while staring out into the riviera on a warm, but brisk sunny day.

Lemony notes at the opening then fresh green notes with a tiny bit of fruity and floral note for the drydown. That is clearly not a masterpiece but it stands out. The quality of the components are undeniable. A scent for hot seasons. 💜 Unisex 🔥 Hot Seasons 📌 Personal Note: 7.5 / 10

The citrus and fruits are zesty, bright, and refreshing. The base notes keep it grounded. There's a complexity and vibrancy to this fragrance that keeps it interesting, addictive, and very very sexy. I will be buying my fiance a bottle of this asap.

I was tossing between a full bottle of citrus Riviera and villa Neroli. Though villa Neroli had better performance with respect to longevity the citrus Riviera has a brighter, zestier tone, which is what I really chase in a summer fragrance.

Realistic Lemon freshness like a blast of lemon, mandarine and water directly in your face but still pleasant perfect summer scent. Can't go wrong with this if you like fresh citrus fragrances.

Citrus rivera is a nice freshie, I find it quite unique for a citrus fragrance, and would recommend it , if you buy it on discounter site. I paid about 135 usd on fragrancebuy.ca

At first, I didn’t like it. It was weakly performing without the advertised fruitiness. After 1 year it matured and now it’s one of my favorite summer fragrances.

Fresh and zesty, like peeling oranges and lemons. Very realistic scent to me with good depth. Lasted quite long and smelled fresh and clean all the way.

This smells really good but it is to expensive for what it is. If you manage to find it for a great price then go for it!

Citrus Riviera, much like premium wine, becomes better with time.

Sunny beachside summertime in a bottle. I received multiple decants and official samples recently, with three BDK fragrances among them. Given the weather where I live I tried out Citrus Riviera today and it's really nice. The initial blast is a very likeable and realistic orange scent with an underlying sweetness from fig and maybe strawberry. When I test sprayed it on a paper it reminded me a lot of Eros Energy, but on skin it's definitely a more complex scent than that, Energy is just lemons whereas this has the extra fruity notes. I jokingly said I smelled like orange Fanta and I kind of stand by that, but the scent never came off synthetic or screechy to me at any point. On the dry down the citrus is heavily subdued and the other fruits become more prominent, alongside a green accord. I guess I do pick up a faint eucalyptus smell but it's not really prominent, it just smells green. Overall it's a really likeable scent, kind of invigorating but not as much as something like Millésime Impérial, super fresh and will definitely make you think of the beach. I'm definitely interested in trying Sel d'Argent and Villa Néroli too. Performance wise it's really decent for a fresh fragrance. It's been 7 hours since I sprayed it and I can still pick it up faintly on my skin. Projection and sillage are both moderate, it doesn't seem to project far nor will you be smelling it a lot coming off you, but I suppose it's not that bad as the citruses and green notes might become irritating and the scent as a whole might be a bit cloying if it was super strong. My gripe with performance is that it becomes a skin scent rather quickly, I wish it pushed for longer, but other than that it's pretty decent for a fresh fragrance.

A citrus cologne is a summer scent staple, but it is near impossible to reinvent the wheel when it comes to cologne. While it is an easy scent profile that I love in hot weather, I don't need many, nor would I spend much money on them, as they are cheap to make as a rule. Citrus Riviera is, predictably, a citrus freshie, but it is an aquatic take on citrus - not my favourite thing. More synthetic than dewy, there is a window cleaner edge to this scent - an unfortunate pitfall of aquatic scents sometimes. CR opens with a light lemon note and some fig. The aquatic undertone is present from initial spray, synthetic and watery. It takes from the fresh fruity notes of the opening. After a disappointing start, CR thankfully gets much better. As it develops, the orange accord becomes dominant, thanks in no small part to the neroli, and the aquatic accord fades a little here. Musky jasmine rounds out the neroli nicely. There is a fresh green undertone, complementing the orange accord to perfection. I get some sweet-yet-fresh strawberry after a little while. Patchouli follows, adding some earthiness. It becomes softly woody and increasingly musky as it dries down. Sillage and longevity are moderate, and it is made for summer days. Its performance is pretty decent for its scent profile. A unisex scent, this aquatic citrus freshie is pleasant overall, serving its purpose, but it is imperfect and unexciting. It is also overpriced for what it is. Not bad, but there are countless better similar scents available. 2.5/5.

A sunbeam slipping through citrus groves—fractured light, dappled yellow, a breeze that carries both the zest and the leaf. The opening strikes first: lemongrass, but not in a polite, spa-like way—this one is sharp, nearly green, still clinging to its stalk. Neroli follows, bitter and bright, its edges lined with waxy florals and a flicker of orange peel oil. That distinct aldehydic snap, too, I get this pleasant pop of citrus skin between fingers Then, the sour tang of lemon and orange starts to mellow, juices mingling into something rounder, softer. Pure citrus in its most unbothered form, D-limonene working overtime, sparkly and true. A suggestion of herbs trails behind—watery, stemmy, as if a sprig of basil had been muddled into the mix, just enough to give the composition some breath. The scent dries down with a quiet, a cooling hush. It lingers subtle like the memory of a sun-warmed coastline, the air still humming with citrus, but distant now, dying like the last flicker of a dream before waking. Pleasant, refreshing. But ephemeral.

Opens with a photorealistic lemon with eucalyptus. The lemon is like cutting a lemon open and sniffing the flesh of the juicy ripe lemon. That, unfortunately, does not last for long. The mid is more orange then lemon, and the more green and floral notes start becoming clearer. Dry down is floral green with vetiver and orange peel. It's quite nice all the way through, but that opening lemon is the absolute highlight. I'd call this a summer fragrance, but it should work well for spring in warmer climates. Unisex, but with a slight masculine lean. Daytime scent. Casual, slightly dressed up. Personal score: 7/10. A great fresh and cool opening that would be a 9.5/10 if it lasted the whole lifetime of the scent. If I could get 2 hours of the opening. I'd be perfectly happy.

Lemon, neroli, mandarin and fig. Accurate and off-putting. Or maybe artisanal. It's hard to call it. The fig note stands out and doesn't exactly vibe with the other elements of this composition. I'd compare this to a nice guitar that's just slightly out of tune. Citrus Riviera is an acquired taste and not an instant crowd pleaser. More mature than dressed up; just as good at the beach as in a suit. Personally yeah, but objectivly meh, especially compared to the myriad of alternatives that wouldn't benefit from some ommision. Seroosuly, I dig the vetiver in the base, but how about more strawberry and less immortelle. Anyway, just barely makes grade. 🤟🙂

I love this, I think that this is one of the best summer fragrances because of how realistic the citrus is and how the dry down smells of the colour green I also love the fig note in the beginning and also the neroli and the other floral notes. I might pick this up in the future because for 100ml you can buy it for £175 which if it was a 50ml I probably wouldn't consider buying it. The peformance on this is pretty decent for a summer fragrance and for sure this fragrance will pull lots of compliments Smell 9.3/10 Sillage 7/10 Longevity 7/10 How much I would pay. 100ml: £175

Huh. The green accord here is leaning hard into vegetal and slightly spicy territory for me. To my nose, this has quite a strong vibe of celery, kitchen spices, and sea salt. To be honest, it's making me think of Caesar drink rimmer a bit. However, it's not all savory, vegetal, and salty; I also get a bright, zesty citrus element, and just a distant hint of elegant white florals. I kind of like it, even though I don't think it's meant to smell as savory and celeric as it smells on me. It's like drink rimmer, salt water, and late evenings in the Mediterranean in summer.

This reminds me a lot of Xerjoff Nio. It has that bright bergamot and floral opening with the green dry down style. It’s got a pretty light to medium projection but you can definitely tell it’s there cause it makes its presence known quite often. I’d say longevity is very good cause it lasts for a long while. With its lightness, it would definitely work great in hot weather. It’s a really nice easy to wear smell that’s discreetly classy that be worn by anyone.

This scent is so nostalgic for me and I can't remember what it reminds me of but it takes me back to my childhood in the early 2000s. My dad used to wear something that smelt like this and I wish I knew what it was. This is a perfect summer scent. Light, citrusy, clean yet not at all boring. Perfectly unisex. My only gripe is with the longevity. You won't get more than 5 hours with this.

A pleasantly green floral with a HUGE dose of tart, bright lemon. It's a little too tart for me but as whole the fragrance is nice. I think this would best suit someone who prefers masculine fragrances on a hot summer day. Don't get me wrong though-- it's definitely unisex and would be great for anyone who prefers a more natural, vibrant floral that isn't powdery or sweet.

This does high-key smell like celery, but not necessarily in a bad way. The drydown is definitely more green and less citrus-y. There's nothing that special about it, it's definitely not as basic as your typical blue designer fragrance, but it's not terribly innovative. I think it's pretty mass appealing, but it's a little too green in the drydown for my taste. 6.5/10

simple yet effective. such a pleasant masculine scent. not unique but it is very well done. cooling, refreshing, elevated citrus fragrance. unfortunately the projection is weak but the scent is so captivating that still worth a try. I tested it on myself and I’d rather smell it on the opposite gender. I think it would be an easy to wear scent for gentlemen.

It's hard to explain that weird thing goi g on in the background, if I was being harsh I would compare it to "wet dog". I try to ignore it because, look at the note breakdown, this should be the only summer fragrance you need. Unfortunately for me it's been relegated to an in the house or gym scent for me.

Sparkling lemon open, and then a delicious aquatic midnote, with a dry musk to round it out. As a truly femme woman, this is what I’d always hoped a men’s fragrance would smell like on me. It’s like a refined Acqua de Gio, but with a crowd-pleasing citrus. Definitely is unisex, but does read masc.

Every house has a basic light fresh Summer scent so this is a must in the BDK lineup. It won't blow your socks off but is necessary. Very likeable but not lovable. Citrus,greens with a light fig note basically sums this up. The base notes are non existent.

Opening is really fresh lemon citrus, then after 10 minutes I get a slight cleaning solution / toilet puck citrus vibe for the next hour or so, but it's not offensive. Dries down into a creamier floral citrus which is quite nice. Performance isn't great.

Lemon rind is tart and the eucalyptus lifts the scent well. However, I wish there was more to it. More vetiver, more fig, something.. anything to elevate this from just good to very good. Mark Hesterman from Coastal Elites wears this.

Amazing fragrance. I didn’t expect the fig note to be as prominent to my nose, but it was and I really enjoyed that. Perfect for hot summer days dressed down or up, doesn’t matter.

Lovely bright spring/summer spicy citrus. Leans more masc; would prefer it on my husband, but am still finding it cheery and enjoyable to wear as a sample myself for the day.

I get a lot of Eucalyptus in this scent which i am not a fan of., however the dry down is okay. I however think i would prefer it on a guy more than myself.

Opening: L'Eau D'Issey with the Yuzu watered down After 30mins: Fresh, aquatic designer-ish scent IMO, decent buy at $100, but not at retail.

I kind of like this! Its super zesty, refreshing, slightly salty and ozonic. It just works, simple as.
