I own Spirituesse Double Vanille and this perfume is VERY similar to it. I think this company did a great job cloning it. Anyone who has smelled (or has) SDV knows it's a very specific scent, a unique vanilla in a sea of vanillas, and Sweet Spirit is able to replicate it well. I adore this perfume and feel like you could own this and not feel like you're missing out by not having the original. A gorgeous, smoky vanilla scent. So glad it exists as SDV is one of my all time favorite perfumes, but is so incredibly expensive.

I will start by saying that I have never tried the Guerlain. I really like this scent, the vanilla is deep and rich and the cedar balances it nicely. The quality of this scent to me is above anything that you could buy at Walmart, Target or Ulta but the scent itself is not unique. It radiates quite a distance from me once I sprayed my sample. It wears like iron on my perfume eating skin which is quite an accomplishment. I don't see how anyone could find this offensive.

Testing my sample; this smells like firewood doused in Spiriteuse Double Vanille. A touch smokier and woodier than its inspiration. A really nice showing, familiar enough to count as a great dupe, unique enough to stand on its own. Cool/cold weather only, this projects quite strongly off my skin.

Sweet Spirit actually smells like dirt on me. Maybe it needs to macerate for a while like Dua fragrances need. I’ll update if it changes after a few weeks, but if not, it’s a scrubber.

My first experience with this perfume wasn't great. The vanilla slapped me in the face and I felt like it was way too much so I never touched it again until recently. I don't know if my taste has changed, or if it just needed to age a bit, but I find this perfume extremely sexy. It's sweet. It's giving me: I'm at a dark indoor lounge/bar people are smoking cigarettes (doesn't smell like cigarettes but just the ambience), and the cabaret singer is sitting at a table with the guests and this is the perfume she'd be wearing. Like in a strapless, black, floor length dress but with a huge slit on the side
