better version of D&G Light Blue

:) :) This is a stronger, more floral(jasmine), and less citrus version of D&G Light Blue. I was thrilled to get this at Marshall for $9.99 especially after I got sick of the sourness in the Light Blue. It's very true to the notes. I can immediately smell the tangerine and pear. A lot of them! And then it settles into sweet, mellow flowers, Jasmine being the most identifiable. The base notes don't exactly jump to your nose during the entire development, but they give the perfume an overall warm feeling, unlike the Light Blue which is cool, fresh, airy and cologne-ish. Due to this warmer undertone it also lasts a lot longer (4,5 hours) on me than the Light Blue (30 minutes top). I'm very impressed! It completely makes up for what Light Blue lacks for me and smells as good if not better. It's sultry, mellow, fruity and well-blended. And it's so cheap! I think you can get the 100ml for under $30 from the internet. If you like D&G Light Blue, get this instead! LOL. Great perfume! 9/10. :) :)

I snatched this puppy up after purchasing bebe Nouvou a few days ago. First, I agree with reviews claiming it smells like Light Blue. When I first sprayed it, have to admit it smelled almost identical to what I remember DG LB smells like. I purchased the 1.7 at Ross for $12.99 (big spender - I know). Have worn it for a few hours and it has settled down quite a bit. Base notes still smell like LB but I also have to say I do smell a similarity to Bebe Nouvou - just not as sweet. Call me crazy, but I think Nouvou smells more femme and this has a unisex vibe to it. I typically prefer what is considered very girly yet sophisticated fragrances. I do like this one though and do prefer it to DGLB actually. Smells less lemony on my skin. I would call it a clean or sporty scent. If you like DGLB, try this it's way cheaper.

Sour, soapy, milky and rose...Similar to Versace Bright Crystal.

I smelled it while I was in BEBE store-this is really nice, light citrusy sweet scent-you can't escape citrus, plus some sweet floral notes and presto, you have Nouveau Chic. Incidentally, it doesn't resemble original Nouveau scent at the slightest-original is really quite masculine, to my nose. I wouldn't say this is anything earth shattering but I like it and it bears more than passing resemblance to Light Blue by DG

I own it and I love the way it smells. Like fresh squeezed orange juice. It's icy and gives a freezing feeling. Such an optimistic perfume! I love it and wear it even in winter from morning till late night. It has won me forever!

I like Nouveau Chic over Nouveau which smells very masculine. Chic smells fresh and fruity. It smells very similar to Paris Hilton Passport South Beach or JLo's Love & Glamour with tangerine.

Tj maxx has this for 9.99 had it in my hand but put it back and glad I did after the reviews.. I am not crazy about light blue ..

This is a very simplistic, sweet pretty fragrance. Lasts maybe 4 hours on skin. Great for summer.
