Cashmere Vanilla

so comforting! this is my ultimate go-to Emotional Support Fragrance. i keep a bottle in my purse at all times and spray it on in my car before doing any stressful or anxiety-inducing activity. it’s Dumbo’s Magic Feather for me . . . a security blanket, a warm hug, the gentle encouragement i need when i’m feeling upset, annoyed, scared — any negative emotion, really. i don’t carry a teddy bear around because i am a grown-ass-adult, but this fragrance has the same effect. i have this in the EDP, body spray, and oil roll-on, and the EDP is my favourite. i do get plenty of the steamed rice note here, which is my favourite aspect. in fact, after finding this fragrance, i went down an extensive rice perfume rabbit hole, and so far i haven’t found anything i like as much as this. (sorry, Kenzo Amour, you were too cold and powdery.) i hate cloying gourmand edible vanillas, but i love warm, spicy, woodsy scents with a little vanilla in the background. this hits the spot perfectly for me. so, so nice. great inoffensive daytime/work scent. most of my collection leans heavy, loud, musky, animalic, stinky . . . but this is perfect for when i’m going incognito as a basic b*tch. 💕

this was my holy grail vanilla in december '24. one of the first perfumes i got that year when i started building a collection. i got it in the mist, lotion, oil, and rollerball. it's a very warm, woody, non-gourmand vanilla. the added rice note makes it both slightly powdery and savory. this is my comfort scent, and i just started reaching for it again while on a mission to enjoy what i already own, instead of looking for new things. it reminds me of fall in the best way, and good memories of last year. i don't personally see much difference between the mist and edp, but i layer them all together, so maybe i'm missing something. the edp gives me a good 6 hours, with definite projection (this is one i've received compliments on). works really well with my body chemistry, so it's a 10/10 for me.

Such a lovely fragrance. To me it smells nearly identical to the body mist, although the edp has a stronger hit to it and is slightly less cozy. However, this and the body mist have the exact same scent profile. I will give you a fair warning, this has less longevity and sillage to it than the body mist. This perfume definitely leans woody vanilla and not sugary sweet vanilla, while still retaining a gourmand element, which is what I like about it—it won’t be cloying in warm weather. To me, it smells like sugar cookies but less sweet. All in all, if you’re looking for an everyday vanilla that smells good, is affordable, and lasts a decent amount, I highly recommend this. Very workspace friendly and will most definitely shine in cooler weather. My signature scent for a reason!!

Generic turd name for a gorgeous and somewhat complex fragrance. So much so I almost ignored it in favor of Moon Milk (which is also wonderful btw). But this almost gives me Palo Santo smoky vibes immediately when I spray it on, dries down into a cozy sweater, jasmine rice and vanilla milkshake scent. Quite yummy but like Moon Milk, get a mini to go with the edp because you will need to reapply.

Its good but tbh this had a really unexpected strong musk/powder scent with a buttery vanilla cookie undertone,so it does still give vanilla cashmere but it is a little more powder than i expected i'll give it a 8/10

This fragrance turns unexpectedly woody and clean on my skin. Rather than a milky or creamy vanilla, I get a soft amberwood and clean musk base, with vanilla acting like a veil rather than a flavor. It smells like freshly laundered fabric warmed by body heat — cozy, but not sweet-forward. There’s a gentle sweetness, but it’s dry, sheer, and textural, not edible. On me, this fragrance sits very close to the skin and reads as quiet luxury minimalism. It’s smooth, calm, and understated — almost like a skin scent interpreted through vanilla-tinted cashmere. Anyone looking for oat milk or creamy gourmand notes may not get that experience here, but for those whose skin amplifies clean musks and woods, this is beautifully balanced.

No idea what people are smelling to compare it to a masculine scent lol. It smells like vanilla/clean linen dryer sheets, very soft and clean smelling. Smells nothing like Rice Flower and Shea IMO (that was my fave scent in the late 90s/early 2000s). You do smell the rice note in this but it's not overly savory. It would be an easy introduction to vanilla scents if you do not like gourmand, as this is not a gourmand vanilla, but more woody vanilla. It leans unisex, so I can see men layering this with their cologne or even as a bedtime scent. Highly recommend. I have the mist and the EDP.

This is about as gourmand as I personally go, as someone who prefers more woody, leathery notes. But for those reasons, I adore how light this one is. It almost reminds me of the old CoverGirl powdered foundation formula in the scent. It's sweet but almost like cotton as you let this one sit. perfect for a cute sweater + book at home, or outings into a late date night. This one i wore almost all of winter last year and its remembered fondly when i put it up. This is what i imagine the song Kingston by Faye Webster smelling like tbh.

I didn't think I'd find this here, so this is cool. I got this for Christmas from a pal, and I spray it sometimes. A bit artificial but comforting and not too offensive. It's a very nice bedtime scent. And although I am very picky with gourmand scents (I only liked Lune Feline and Khamrah), this isn't too bad and I like that it's not that sweet. It's kind of woody actually.

I enjoy Cashmere Vanilla, but I don't reach for it often! It's an occasional bedtime scent. To my nose, it's incredibly similar to Clinique's Cocoa & Cashmere, just less sweet and with a rice note added in. Both fragrances have misleading names given how they actually smell, but Cocoa & Cashmere is superior IMO.

I like this one. It’s nice, it’s simple, it’s pretty, it has an element almost reminiscent of buttercream. I would not pay any more than it currently costs for it because it’s very basic but it’s enjoyable and pretty!

Oof. I bought this EDP based on smelling the *mist* in store, and they're not the same imo. This one is much sharper to me and the reviewer who said it has almost a mentholy flair is dead-on. It's this extremely cool/cold, powdery bite that is overwhelming the coziness of this scent for me. It's such a shame because the bottle is pretty, the longevity is very good, and the price is right. I loved the comfy feeling the mist gave me. I'm going to return this, but now I may not even pick up the mist in its place because this has been a fairly off-putting experience. I do also have to mention that it's not very vanilla despite the name. This would be great for wearing at night before bed but I already have a softer frag that I prefer for that purpose. I do appreciate how clean this smells. Sometimes after a really good shower I don't want to put on anything even approaching vanilla/cashmere and undo the squeaky-clean feeling I have, but this would work beautifully.

This opens up with a boozy vanilla but settles on the skin with a plasticky leather note. Is a nice perfume, and the plasticky note fades after a while, but I'm not a fan of it. This reminds me a lot of Margot Elena's Dead Sexy. Dead Sexy has more complexity, more projection and lasts longer though, with a more subtle plastic note. Smell: 6 out of 10 Longevity: 4 out of 10 Feminine

I like the body mist but the EDP is different. This reminds me of loud, cheap masculine scents. It is a rich spicy vanilla with a familiar musky, cologne-like base (not a soft musk, not like any of the musk molecules which I love, it’s a SHARP, cold “men’s fragrance” musk.) It’s also really strong, I sprayed it twice - 6 hours ago - on a scarf to begin testing, and it’s annoying me while it’s sitting 15 feet away from me rn. I’m glad a lot of us like it tho, I’m just sad I bought it blind! :’) I HATE THE CAP ON THIS THING TOO

I bought this after smelling on someone in a grocery store down the aisle. With that being said it is extremely strong. It reminded me of the Men’s Prada Luna Sport in a way. Wearing it on myself gives me such a headache. Price point is decent but I have had a friend that also had this and said it turns rancid after 1 year of being open. May be worth investing in a higher quality perfume. My suggestion for Vanilla based perfume is Lavanilla or Skin.

I was hoping for a warm, cozy vanilla scent—something like Vanilla Bean Noel from B&BW or EOS Vanilla Cashmere—but instead, it just smelled like medicine. It’s overwhelmingly strong, with a cold, peppery note that reminds me of cough syrup.

this is not vanilla at all. dpmo. most plasticky dusty scent ever.

Reviewing the EOS Vanilla Cashmere lotion, because this is the closest scent name I can find to it. This is not a "crowd pleasing, casual" scent unless you work in the back of a bakery. This is like what Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works used to be when I was in middle school--not the same scent profile, but that same cloying, overpowering artificial sweetness. Smells like vanilla buttercream icing, if you amped up the scent by x100 and rubbed it on yourself. The lotion itself reminds me of Jergens--thick and shea-butter based. It feels nice and moisturizes well but it's not worth the artificial smell.

This unfortunately is not the same as the body mist/perfume oil. Those have the prominent toasted rice note that meld nicely with the other notes. Idk if it’s the whipped cream/jasmine note but something in the edp smells mentholy to me, almost like the powderiness that’s in lifesaver mints. It lasts pretty well, but considering that the minty facet doesn’t go away for me doesn’t make this worth more than the mist/oil combined. I’m going to stick to those instead.

i hold this perfume near and dear to me. i wore this to my baby shower and it brings back such beautiful memories as it was one of the best days of my life. worked amazing in new york winter! cozy cashmere with vanilla and rice.
