Cashmere Vanilla Oil

Lmao it's kinda funny how I discovered this scent hehe. I was visiting my dad's house and while in the bathroom I noticed a little bottle of this (belongings to my brothers girlfriend) and took a little sniff. I tend to lean toward vanilla-y scents and that little sniff turned into me fighting my every urge to just snatch the thing from the cabinet. Well mama didn't raise no theif, so I would just apply it on my arms, chest and lower back whenever I was ready to leave for the next 2-3 visits. Then one fateful day I was at target, AND THEY HAD EVERYTHING FROM THIS LINE BUT THE VANILLA CASHMERE OIL WTF. So I left. Then 2 weeks later (another fateful day mind you) I was at target again and they actually had it and I got on it so quick lmao. Anywho this smell is great, as stated by others it's wonderful for layering and is its own unique little vanilla scent without being overly sweet and desert like. My boyfriend loves it.

I was not a fan of this at first sniff but the more I wore it the more I fell in love with it! There is something really "clean" smelling about this vanilla, Like a clean white t-shirt that has been air drying in the wind all day kind of vibe. I do not get a sweet vanilla scent but more of a woody-ambery vanilla with that rice note in the background as listed in the notes. Super warm & cozy and when I want to add some sweetness to the vanilla I pair it with VS "bare vanilla". Wears well in the summer but definitely a fall/winter scent and as for the lasting power this oil lasts for hours! Incredible staying power for the price point. If you're into woody-ambery-musky vanillas or that clean girl vibe, definitely give this a try! I'm not sure if this is a unisex line but this can definitely be pulled off by both genders.

this has really impressed me! i didn’t care much for the body mist as it took too long for the initial blast of alcohol to dissipate for me. the perfume oil has this truly warm almost toasted quality that could be attributed to the rice. its very cozy and comforting and the fragrances i’ve layered on top have paired beautifully with it (akro awake for a delicious sweetened latte combo and phlur vanilla skin (body mist) for a warm woody vanilla). perfect for wearing casually / before bed and for layering underneath other perfumes. and it’s around $15 for a roller bottle that will take me awhile to get through. there are many perfume oils that have similar longevity & scent quality that are easily triple the price, so it’s a winner in my book!

Oof, ok I get the cigarette comparison. I’ve been wearing the EDP and couldn’t understand how it could possibly smell Smokey or dirty because it smelled so lovely and clean to me. Sweet spicy vanillic rice and woody bits. So so lovely. In the cold that is. In the heat this is a completely difference fragrance and one I do NOT recommend for any climate above 70 Fahrenheit. Wearing it today on a warmer day in the office where the inside temp got up to 74 without airflow and, man, I was looking around wondering who tf was smoking a cigar before their appointment, but oops, it’s me and my not meant for springtime perfume. Lesson learned. Moral of the story- cold chilly winter wet- yes wear Warm sunny stuffy heat- no wear

Frenshe Cashmere Vanilla is everything that I want a fall fragrance to be. Warm, comfortable, and only very lightly sweet, this is such a beautiful and surprisingly sophisticated fragrance for the price. It really is like throwing on your softest cashmere sweater. The rice note gives this gorgeous pillowy quality to it, and the amber and musk peek through more and more as it wears. As far as the vanilla goes, this is more of a Diptyque Eau Duelle or MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold woody, aromatic vanilla than a sweet, baking Kayali Vanilla 28 or Billie Eilish (gold bottle) vanilla. Really lovely, especially layered with the body oil or body cream. Perfect for fall and winter.

As someone who typically is only interested in gourmands, this vanilla (not a gourmand) is just still soo good to me. The cashmere gives it SUCH a cozy scent. I have every single product in this fragrance such as the perfume, body spray, hair and body oil, and roll on perfume oil. I have also had the body lotion. This, in my opinion, is the PERFECT bed time cozy scent or even a "day-in" scent. This is very useful for me in those occasions that smelling like a cinnamon roll would just be too much, but still want to smell like a beautiful, warm vanilla. More so skin scent like, but you will be sniffing yourself in joy!

soooo good!! i’m more into gourmand scents and even thought this isn’t a gourmand.. this is phenomenal!! i rly enjoy the rice and cashmere notes in this. the starchiness of the rice is rly pleasant and comforting, the cashmere added some coziness and the amber added some resinous depth! also pretty affordable so pls get this :))

I was so pleasantly surprised by this, it layers wonderfully with my other vanillic and woody scents and definitely increases the longevity of my fragrance. Lasts much better than the body spray for me! I will definitely be buying this in the other scents going forward.

It’s so cozy, I love to put this on before bed! I feel like the rice is super prominent, to my fellow Mexicans who know: it smells a little bit like horchata or arroz con leche, like milky rice (minus the cinnamon), and it’s very comforting.

very cozy and less gourmand than the other vanillas i have, great for layering! the dry down brings out the rice notes and you’re left with a spot-on horchata scent. very unique but simple, inoffensive, vanilla-rice fragrance !

A comforting and cozy cashmere vanilla. Rich and beautiful. I feel like I’m wrapped in a thick-knit blanket. Very nice for a day-in or just for casual layering.

Perfect woody vanilla, great for layering or great alone, not overpowering or headache inducing.

Purchased the discovery set, so I'll be trying five of the six fragrances. This was the Frenshe I was most excited to try, as I absolutely love all things vanilla. Unfortunately, it's causing a skin reaction... so one more "nope" thanks to my picky body chemistry. The fragrance goes between being a smoky vanilla, to more of a sweet horchata, or warm rice pudding fragrance. One minute it was smoky and powdery; almost a campfire-marshmallow fragrance, and the next minute it was amazingly sweet, rich, and beautiful. It didn't mature from one to the other, it kept alternating between these two until I scrubbed it. While cinnamon isn't listed, I swear I can smell it on my skin... not overpowering, just a dusting that blends oh so well with the vanilla and rice. So yummy! If my skin played nice with this, it would absolutely remain on my shelf as a fall/winter bedtime and cozy-day-at-home fragrance. *sigh*

I smelled this in target and loved it, now that it's sat a little it's a bit plasticky but I like layering it a lot especially with Mix:Bar 09 Vanilla Bourbon, Mugler Alien, Lattafa Maitha, and Lattafa Angham 😜 oh and using the rollerball Cashmere Vanilla with the mist version is essential!!

I agree with LEM922 -- there is something a little dirty about this, and not in a fun, sexy way. It's like opening a bottle of vanilla extract in a house where the owners have cats and don't clean as often as they should. Not the kind of musk I want to smell like!

Something about this smells like cigarettes. I’m appalled. I don’t know what it is, but it has some type of cigarette-butt accord to it that somewhat deeply disturbs me. I remember I smelled it when I tried it on at target.. it smelled good, but it smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette before they started blending it. I liked it otherwise, so I chalked it up to whoever tried it before me must have just smoked and to get a different one. Well, i got a different one and bought it, and put it on at home... and I still smell cigarette, somehow. This isn’t like a tobacco cigarette smell, its like a chemically nicotine smell, i dont really know how to describe it but anyone who smokes or has family or friends that smoke would know what I meant if they smelled it. Very, very unfortunate. I will most likely be returning this.

Wow I thought I would love this but unfortunately I agree with MaxieF 100% that it does indeed smell like bug spray! It's weird, it's like a cozy unsweetened vanilla cashmere but covered up with straight up Raid. Ppl previously mentioned it smelling "old", "moldy" and I have to say I agree. I'm dead serious. EDIT: okay weirdly my opinion has changed on this within 2 weeks - I don't know what happened but it's grown on me and I actually kinda like it a bit now, it's not my typical vanilla but again that's why I'm starting to like it, it's like a lightly spicy cozy hippie vanilla- and some days I'm okay with that apparently 🤷 Edit EDIT: completely misjudged this one, this is your reminder (and mine ofc) to not judge a fragrance too harshly at first because you just may end up loving it. I love this now, especially in the fall. Who woulda thought lol?

There is something so comforting and warm about this fragrance I’m obsessed! I get nostalgia for some reason and I can’t put my finger on what it reminds me of. The rice note balances this vanilla so well and gives it a unique flare that makes you go back for another sniff. The perfume oils are soooo much more potent and way better than the mists in my opinion. I prefer them I don’t even own the body spray to this but I have gone through a rollerball like this and 2 full body oils. For the price it’s very worth it.

I'm a simple woman who loves a good cashmere-vanilla fragrance combo, and this one really takes the cake. Sweet, comforting, soft, and a little musky. The thing I love most about this fragrance is that it has all the elements of a great vanilla without being too offensive. It's quite sophisticated, yet it's something suitable for everyday wear. Also very affordable! I can't stop smelling my inner wrists. Love her.

Head on. I’m with the last commenters HazardousEncyclopedia and LEM922 , I thought it was going to smell like the spray, but it has an overpowering “burnt” “moldy” “unclean” quality that is not good smelling. Returning it. This perfume oil was not it. The spray and body oil are much more cleaner smelling.t! Big Edit: That's the OPENING. The dry down is the desired scent! Super long lasting too!

I loved the smell of this, and am devastated, as the oil became rancid. I've had it for a year and ahalf, and don't live in the U.S, so won't be able to purchase a new bottle... Did anyone else's oil go off really fast? I took a deep sniff yesterday, just waiting for that wonderful smell to fill up my nostrils, but noooo, it's forever gone...

Love that Fragrantica has added this to the DB! An excellent vanilla fragrance with a savory facet from the rice. Completely obsessed. Wearing it with Dulce by Rosie Jane - and I'm in vanilla HEAVEN. I have the fragrance mist, not the oil.

It does kind of smell like bug spray..unfortunately I didn't really get that at first but after wearing it a bit I really do get straight up bug spray. It smells good on skin but on clothes it pulls bug spray.

this line unfortunately has a terrible plastic/play dough scent and very little sweetness. not what i thought it was going to be.

very woody with a halo of vanilla. literally best way i can describe it is sweet wood shavings. and i love it.
