Cashmere Vanilla

This is so addicting. I don’t have anything that smells exactly like this in my collection. The body shop “Shea” is the closest thing, but this is so much better. Shea can be a little sharp and masculine for me. This is so cozy and comforting. It’s not overly sweet (not at all cupcake-ish or sugary), and It leans slightlyyy unisex. I think the cozy rice accord is what gives it that warm comforting vibe, but it’s kind of hard to describe. It does have a veryyy small hint of that camphor quality that to me adds a subtle woody depth, but to some comes off as bug spray or smoke. That camphor quality is the same one you’d find in Kayali vanilla oudgasm or Goldfield & Banks silky woods (but to a much smaller and less noticeable extent here). There are slight differences between all items in this body care line. The body mist is slightly more vanilla and feminine than the EDP. The EDP and the oil smell pretty much exactly the same. The body lotion actually has a hint of ambroxan that reminds me of another 13. The EDP lasts the longest (as expected). Overall, this is an incredible fragrance, especially at the price point. Spray it on yourself at target and go about your day to get the full effect, because it really develops beautifully. I have become completely addicted and have gone through the lotion and am almost done with my body mist and EDP (which is rare for me).

I literally had to create an account to write this review because I saw how disrespectful y’all are being in the reviews when it comes to the longevity, because this fragrance is nowhere near to be weak longevity, it’s literally so long lasting and although the sillage is not the best, the longevity is really really good. I put it on the other day, I went to a coffee date with one of my friends, then the next day i could still smell it on my SKIN OMG. I’m soooo impressed by the longevity of this, considering this is not even an eau de toilette, but has the power of an eau de parfum easily. When it comes the smell, the amber is lovely and very present throughout the whole development of the fragrance, but then it’s overpowered by the beautiful and rich rice note. I love that this is not gourmande but it is very addictive, like I’m always smelling it on my arms, on my clothes, sometimes I would just go to my perfume collection and smell that, just that one, it’s so comforting and I always want to smell like this. I’m from Mexico and my friend from the US gave me this as a present because I told her about it, now I’m obsessed with this fragrance and I’m DYING to get my hands on the eau de parfum and the rest of the frenshe line. 🫰🏻

there is something about this fragrance that has me in a chokehold. i remember the first time i sprayed this on my wrist and walked around target i was unimpressed with the initial opening, but the more it dried down i couldn’t stop smelling myself and kept thinking about it for a week after. the way it soaks into my skin and mingles with my body chemistry is so romantic and intimate. to me it's incredibly warm and comforting, i especially love to wear it to sleep after a hot shower. the scent lingers even longer on clothing! i had sprayed it on my sweater before tucking it back into my closet, and three weeks later i STILL smelt it on there. cashmere vanilla is definitely one of my favorite vanilla fragrances to date, so much so as to buy the body wash, lotion, edp, and candle too! fingers crossed they make scent beads and laundry detergent in this scent too!

I LOVE THIS BODY MIST! it is one of my favorite scents of all time, and i usually go for gourmand scents. i am a vanilla lover and this scent really scratches my "clean vanilla" want. i do wish TERRIBLY that it lasted longer, but it is a mist so y'know. this scent is so warm and cozy, but also gives that FRESH vanilla scent with a little kiss of amber and musk. i can also see the rice as this scent leans a little bit savory. ugh, this scent is such a fav, i spray this EVERYWHERE. i would drown in this scent. and i get headaches SO easily but this scent doesn't give me headaches at all no matter how much i spray. i highly recommend people to try this scent! i pair it with the matching body oil (which is also amazing) and the EOS vanilla cashmere lotion and it is CHEF'S KISS! this is a perfect option for us broke people who love to smell good.

My holy grail!!!! This vanilla is literally like any other vanilla fragrance I have tried! It's so warm, comforting, like a big hug! It smells pure in a way, like someone you trust with all you're heart. This is such a cozy fragrance, but my go to for any occasion! It's not a overly sweet/ gourmand vanilla like I'm use to [no hate, I still love my vanilla bean frags ] nor is it a floral vanilla, but more of a creamy, powedery, oaty vanilla if that makes sense. absolutely adore this, because not only does it smell so damn good but I instantly feel such a large mood boost just wearing it, sticks onto my clothing for hours! I can put this on before bed and be carried to sleep by this fragrance, that's how comforting it is. I love it sm. If this was discontinued my heart would shatter in 1 million pieces 3

At first sniff in the bottle, I kind of thought I wasn't going to like it, but it turns out that it works great for a cool fall or winter day because of its ambery quality. It's like a warm hug. I don't think of vanilla when I smell it, although there's certainly some vanilla deep down. Instead, I get a peppery, fizzy cola. I'm not detecting any lemon, like you normally do in a cola fragrance, but maybe there's some ginger. There's also a part of it, especially in the beginning, that reminds me of the smell of baby dolls or Barbie dolls back in the 1980s. I think I'm probably going to need more than just a sample because the body mist version needs several sprays to really stick around. Spraying it in your hair is definitely a good strategy and keeps it going for hours.

What a lovely fragrance! I don't own many vanillas (they're just not my preferred scent profile), but my goodness, this one is lovely. At its core, it's a warm amber-vanilla. Gentle, sweet, nothing special. BUT. There's this rice note that elevates the entire composition to the next level. It smells reminiscent of rice pudding. It's so warm and cozy and comforting. The rice note is really what makes this beauty shine. Definitely my favorite vanilla. I'll have to get the rollerball soon enough! Edit: Oh my goodness, I wore this after using the Dove Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk Body Scrub in the shower, and wow wow wow! What a stunning combination. They go together so well you'd think they were made for each other. Would 100% recommend.

cashmere vanilla is SUCH a nice scent! i just ran out the body oil (i’m so sad and it’s been out of stock at my target for a while) and i’ve tested the body spray several times. the body mist lasts okay, but the body oil lasts ages and is the only full size lotion or oil that i’ve ever completely finished. it’s got a little bit of a natural scent, like an essential oil, but that makes it smell not too heavy and a little bit clean. the rice note really pulls through, and i’m such a sucker for a rice fragrance, i absolutely love this. it’s suited for all seasons, but i’d imagine it’s much better in colder weather.

THIS. Is ONE. Of the BEST scents, everrr. Reasonably priced, and smells so good you’ll want to spray it on all the time. It’s the best “cozy” type of vanilla scent for me. It’s giving high end spa vanilla, The amber is comforting not screechy, as well as the rice note makes this so unique and calming. It adds a softness or like you’ve been walking in the rain but you still smell amazing. Nothing harsh sharp or burnt/masculine about this though it’s not overly feminine either. But it’s addicting.

At first I was disappointed by this scent, I was expecting a far sweeter vanilla. Since then, it has been on my shelf and I tried it again recently and I get a completely different vibe to how the fragrance describes! To me I get a very woodsy, musky scent, fresh like a crisp morning- but still feminine. It's super versatile, if I want to smell like a sweet woodland picnic I layer this with Lush's solid Chelsea morning perfume.

For an easy reach, this fragrance is incredible. If you're into a soft, cozy, musky, ambery linger this is the scent for you! Imagine wearing a freshly laundered sweater while drinking an oatmilk latte. You're curled up on the couch reading a novel on a cool fall day. I know- dramatic, right? But seriously, this is everything cozy and clean. This would make a perfect gift- I can't imagine anyone disliking it.

Probably my favorite body mist scent. It is so cozy, warm, and comforting and great during the colder days. I always put this on when I know I'm going to be close to people and want something that's not too heavy and annoying. Something about this also has a santal vibe but much sweeter. So affordable compared to other body mists out there and so good. I absolutely love it.

This is a really nice linen spray, that's what I bought it for anyways. It's a calming and quiet layered vanilla scent that's excellent to fall asleep to. I get a little of the amber, a little of the milky rice, its well blended. Bottle is decent size and it looks like it will last a while. Good value for the money. Purchased from: Target

This reminds me of when my best friend’s grandmother would make arroz con leche on the stovetop! It’s warm and sweet and the delicate rice milk notes is delectable without being too photorealistic. The sandalwood stops the perfume from going too gourmand and anchors it with a nice, woody root-note, adding a nice maturity to the perfume.

This is a perfect calming, not too sweet vanilla cashmere rice scent. And don't even get me started on the body oil!!! It's so calming and has just the right amount of amber to balance the sweetness of the vanilla! Id usually pair this with the brown sugar lotion from Pink, and Chai epice from le monde gourmande and its perfect!!

OBSESSED!! Lots of people are saying they don’t like the rice note but this is exactly what I have been looking for!!! This smells so amazing layered with Kenzo Amour! It takes the rice note to the next level and creates RICE PUDDING!! I do love it on its own too! Huge Kenzo Amour vibes!! Super impressed with this one!

My God, that rice note is absolute perfection. Soooo good, reminds me of a nice sweet rice pudding without the "pudding", so like sweet rice? Very enjoyable and pleasant, love to spray this over my bedding and all over myself before bed. Incredibly soothing and relaxing, especially on cold windy/rainy/snowy nights.

this scent is so warm and nurturing - the rice note is very prominent to me, and it has such a nostalgic comforting quality. This is almost lactonic, though theres no milk notes. I'm probably getting that cuz of the creaminess of the musk and vanilla. I used mine up so quickly yall and that never happens with me

I love the rice note in this it’s like a warm cup of rice steamed in vanilla milk it’s so warm and comforting and the perfect vanilla that isn’t cloying but classy maybe even spa like. I use this at bedtime it’s so calming and I spray it on my sheets too. This is my fave scent of the Frenshe lineup !

cozy and soothing, exactly what it advertises. such a unique vanilla, especially for the price. perfectly spicy which adds a nice lightness to an otherwise very gourmand scent. perfect to wear around the house, after a shower, or going to bed. reminds me of first dating my girlfriend.

This is a super light, cozy body spray. Definitely ambery and musky with a light vanilla, and with that rice note, so yummy. I use this as my bedtime perfume and I love it. Doesn't have huge projection nor longevity but that's personally not a problem for me.

this smells great. Not too sweet and musky. Gentle silage. If you're looking for a fun, cheap fragrance ($14.99) that you can spray on your body, hair, sheets and anywhere in your home. I recommend picking up a bottle at Target.

This is a warm, lactonic vanilla musk that doesn't go syrupy or cupcakey. Not overly sweet, which is the issue I have with a lot of vanillas. The rice note makes it velvety and comforting, like rice pudding.

This smells Gooood! I can’t really break down any notes,,,all I know is I love it. It’s fresh,vanilla and slightly woody maybe. Oh well...all I know is it’s lovely.

Before the boycott began, I picked this one up at target after trying a sample kit of theirs, it wasn't the scent I wanted but was the only spray available. Surprisingly, I like this!! Why? PALO SANTOOOOOO. I'm not a huge fan or sugary vanilla gourmands or "cashmere woods" (imaginary smell... What exactly is a cashmere wood?). But this sweet vanilla is spicy! And most of the sweetness comes from the sweet that palo santo gets when turned into a hydrosol, as opposed to burnt as incense. While it's not my favorite perfume by any means, I still find occasion to wear it. Actually used it liberally, before bed on multiple occasions. It's comforting af. I've taken to keeping this one in my car. It's affordable so I'm fine with spraying down my car after a funky meal or some smoke. Also inoffensive enough to douse with. Def used this in a hurry on the go to cover up oily hair smell after dry shampoo (plain cornstarch in a spice shaker). It's a nice smell.

I don’t know if anyone would agree with this take but to me it smells like how sweet potato pie tastes but as a fragrance...reminds me of eating cream of wheat and I agree with the rice pudding comparisons. The cashmere and amber are the dominant notes in my opinion. It is cozy but can be worn during any season (especially fall), it is sweet but I wouldn’t call it a traditional gourmand. Should not blind buy this, but I would say that about all Frensche fragrances. Will I add to my arsenal: yep, I have repurchased many times. I layer this with a true vanilla gourmand for depth and warmth, and I love that there is a whole set available for purchase.

This is nice! I bought both the body mist and eau de parfum. This is perfect if you want a vanilla fragrance but not a heavy gourmand. I see a lot of reviewers recommending this for colder weather, but I think it’s perfect for the warmer months as it’s light and cozy while still being subtly sweet. To me, this smells like vanilla mixed with fresh laundry. Like if you were to wash your laundry with vanilla scented detergent. I recommend layering the oil, mist and perfume for maximum longevity!

This is what I expected Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere to smell like. I sampled both fragrances around the same time, and Cashmere Vanilla just had the nuance that Philosophy lacked. This is a warm ambery (but not heavy) semi-gourmand that smells more refined and expensive. All the scents in the Being Frenshe line all have an underlying "cleanness" to them that I love. I feel like I can get away with this in the summer. It's my favorite vanilla so far.

If vanilla was a sunscreen is the best way I can describe this. I know it's jasmine rice and not jasmine, but I could swear there is a jasmine in here somewhere as well as a distant memory of coconut. The lactonic aspect smells less milky and more unscented lotion base to me. I like it a lot! Seeing the comparison to BBW Riceflower and Shea really took me back, and I agree it does smell very similar to what I remember of it.

After wearing this for a couple of days now, I have to say I enjoy it. It smells very synthetic when I first spray it on my skin but get more powdery and dusty as the day goes on. I don't get a whole lot of the vanilla, mainly a sweet musk. It's a great scent for wearing around the house, very intimate and lasts a while, I can still smell it on my skin when I go to bed. Not sure how long it'd last on an active day of work

This is my platonic ideal of a vanilla and the first time I’ve actually been able to pinpoint a rice note without reading it first. It’s a little spicy, like an extremely gentrified, milky chai with lots of vanilla syrup. All of Frenshe’s body mists, to me, smell like a pretty girl who has her life together. That’s really appealing sometimes. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have the greatest staying power.

super cozy vanilla cashmere, smells like cuddling up in a warm blanket on the couch with cookies in the oven nearby. Not cloying, very elegant and i adore it. very different for me as someone who tends to opt for sugary fruity sickeningly sweet smells! my dad told me it smells like a cigar, so maybe slightly smokey to some, but i dont pick that up. i have also never smelled a cigar, lol.

I smelled this in target and loved it, now that it's sat a little it's a little bit weak but I still like layering it, especially with Mix:Bar 09 Vanilla Bourbon, Mugler Alien, Lattafa Maitha, and Lattafa Angham 😜 oh and using the rollerball Cashmere Vanilla with the mist version is essential!!

This mist smells so CREAMY and almost milky? Not really a vanilla scent but it's definitely warm. Just keep in mind that the scent doesn't last long at all on the skin. Like honestly I suggest just spraying it on your clothes, hair or bed sheets. Very feminine, kind and warm.

I just got this and realized that it smells almost identical to Bath & Body Works Snowflakes and Cashmere, which is one of my favorite scents to wear. I wear that one year round, which I'll likely do with this too. I'd say they are 90% the same scent.

It is a nice scent. Definitely not a really sweet vanilla, more on the spicy side of vanilla. It has the same vibe of a sweet cologne. Pretty unisex tbh. It doesnt last long on clothes but longer on my curtains lol.

i like it. it’s less vanilla much more amber/woody. wish it was a bit sweeter. this is like a mature piece of wood to me but still light and fresh. worth trying!

definitely smells amazing. so amazing that i really wish it lasted at all. even paired with the fragrance oils, the scent disappears very quickly.

this reminds me a lot of by the fireplace from the replica series. vanilla with musk and spice which gives it an almost smokey quality. yum!!!

This perfume is a nice beginner vanilla scent; however, I find that I would never *settle* for this fragrance. It may just be the way the scent interacts with my skin, but the initial performance of this perfume is extremely medicinal...almost grape-like. It is a bit odd. I thought it was perhaps the amber elements providing a sort of muskiness to the warm vanilla, but when I first spray this fragrance, the medicinal and synthetic qualities of it are massively overpowering. It almost smells bitter, and not in a pleasing way. Upon a few hours of maturation, the scent does sweeten. It becomes less harsh, and you get more of those savory and musky qualities without fear of smelling like a hospital -- still, this perfume is not aptly named, as it is not warm or comforting like cashmere. I would instead classify this scent more as vanilla extract, rather than vanilla. Additionally, to add insult to injury, I do not get any of the powdery notes. No rice or no lactonic elements whatsoever. I don't hate it, I still find myself wearing this every once in a while (mainly because I lack an expansive fragrance collection), but this feels poorly advertised, and I am sure there are better alternatives out there that could qualify for a daily rotation.

this perfume is fine at best. although i do agree it is cozy, there isn't enough vanilla in this perfume for it to be called "cashmere vanilla". i spray this in my hair after using hair gel to make it smell nice, but there are better hair perfumes out on the market for a similar price range.

This is a starchy, powdery vanilla. It’s warm rather than sweet. There’s a baby powder vibe, that gives me baby diaper reminiscences. If you like powdery vanilla, it’s not terrible. There’s a baby’s breath floral Whif at the end of the drydown.

a sort of duck-rabbit illusion between an ambery sweetness and bug spray. but i do really have to think about it to smell it the other way. for me at least it's an easy smell to get tired of it, yet it doesn't wear off easy either

Smelled this in the store. As a gourmand/vanilla person this did nothing for me, very bland, but it’s a safe scent.
