Moon Milk

This is a gingersnap cookie dunked into a creamy chai latte with a big fluffy pillow of foam on top. For an affordable fragrance I find the nutmeg and cardamon to be very realistic. Moon Milk is fresher and airier than expected for a scent that is so heavy with the spices. I do not find this to be overly milky, but the milk note is noticeable. If you do not like lactonic scents you will not like this. I know the performance leaves a lot to be desired, but his is so unique and comforting and warm that I don’t care. I love this. It is one of my favorite fall scents 9/10. However, I do understand why it’s polarizing. Some might find the spices hard to wear. Also some might not like the contrast between the warm gourmand notes and the freshness. Layering suggestions: Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere. A little spicy but a little fresh and subtly sweet. This sits close to the skin but it still wraps you in a warm scent bubble. This is beautiful. It makes me want to read a book under a cashmere blanket. Mason Margiela Afternoon Delight. These two scents play off each other beautifully. Milky and frothy but also very clean smelling. I would categorize this combo as a year-round scent. The negatives are the the mild projection and poor longevity. Victoria Secret Cozy Cashmere Vanilla. I love how the addition of the hazelnut adds richness and depth. It adds some weight to Moon Milk's airiness.

This is back on the shelves! It's still a limited run, but I picked up two bottles after missing out last year. On me, at first the cardamom is strongest. But I also smell the oat, vanilla, nutmeg, and ginger. After drydown everything seems to be better blended, and I smell everything equally. It's a warm chai latte or a rich spice cake fragrance that smells like autumn in the best way possible. I will also be layering with ginger for a gingerbread fragrance this winter! Spice fragrances can be overpowering, or candle-like. This is not. It's light enough I could wear it to bed, but is noticeable on my favorite sweater and in my hair, all day long. Just wanted to add, in case anyone else is looking for it... I just discovered today (14 October '25) that the matching lotion is also out now! Mine is being shipped as my local store doesn't carry it, but since I'm wildly happy with their Solar Fleur lotion I'm expecting this to be amazingly wonderful. Will update if it doesn't live up to the hype.

I absolutely love this scent. I am not crazy about lactones but this one is spicy enough to take the milky edge off. I feel like a crisp, slightly chewy, and delicious ginger snap when I wear this 🫰🏽 This is stunning layered with the OG formula of Violet Ends by Boy Smells. TRUST! I would die for an eau de parfum of this in the future!! It looks like they juuust put out a fragrance oil, along with the already existing (afaik) candle, radiance oil, and body lotion...oh and the lip gloss which is nice. Somehow a warm brown works on my pasty pale white girl pinkish gray chicken skin lips. anyway I reccommend you check them out!

Think of the most delicious mug of chai with a glug of oat milk and a biscoff cookie on the side. That's Moon Milk- such a cozy, sweet, lightweight cardamom. Reminds me a bit of Pistachio by DS and Durga because of the cardamom and nutty emphasis, but it is significantly sweeter and a bit more lactonic. It's got a spicy, gingery kick a la Etat Libre d'Orange's Like This that screams fall cozy vibes. Wish it lasted more than 30 min but I guess that's what you get with most body sprays nowadays... Smh, if they have an oil version I will def be purchasing thoughhhh!

This is a creamy fragrance, sprinkle dusted with a hint of spices. None of them cloy or give the fragrance an autumn spice, fall extravaganza, Bath and Body Works candle feel. And there's nothing remotely synthetic detected, which impresses me about this affordable option. The projection isn't strong, so I'm not sure if it'd appeal to those who prefer head-turners. But as someone who can be overwhelmed by heavy scents, it's perfect. I love wearing it before bed when I want to feel comforted and cozy. In my opinion, the base notes are the stars of this show!

to me this smells EXACTLY the way blue moon ice cream tastes. i am not a huge gourmand lover, but the nutmeg really comes thru and makes it smell very unique and spicy. wish it came as a perfume, as far as body sprays go i personally find frenshe's last a bit longer on me than others but i still long for this scent with a greater sillage. theres no tonka bean note listed but it reminds me of turmeric latte by lush. waited so long to try it and personally love it even more than i thought i would.

This is Snif’s Naughty Nonna after she dismisses her guests for the night and starts getting ready for bed (in the most luxurious and decadent nighttime routine ever, of course). It has the sparkling and bright ginger notes of Naughty Nonna, but it’s been reduced in a delicious vanilla cream. In lieu of the photorealistic cake scent you’re given this comforting oat-chai blanket to encompass the all around dreamy fragrance, making it perfect for cozy and soft moments.

I have the body mist, eu de parfum, and the body wash because I cannot get enough of this fragrance! very cozy and nice to use at nighttime or if you want to wind down. My only qualm is that I wish it lasted longer/projected more. I thought maybe the issue was because I originally only had the body mist, but I recently got the perfume, and it gives me a few more hours, but doesn't project in the way I wish it did. overall 9/10

This review is for the perfume oil. I love it! I’m very picky about vanillas and gourmands but this is so nice. Not too sweet and definitely more sophisticated than I expected from a Target purchase. This smells exactly like a chai tea latte. My only gripe is that there is zero projection. Edit: if you love this then you need to get the turmeric latte massage bar from Lush. They’re a match made in heaven.

Such a beautiful chai fragrance. It’s sweet and spicy and comforting. Love to wear this to bed, but I just wish there was more staying power to it. I understand it’s only a body spray but it seriously only last like a minute 😭. I still however love drenching myself in this every night bc it truly does smell so freaking good. I really want to find an edp with better performance that smells just like this.

ashley... now why would you make this limited edition?! everyone's going crazy over this online! moon milk is a sweet, creamy, kinda spicy, cozy chai latte. unfortunately this lasts longer on clothes than on the skin, so i layer this with sorce's snow moon magic :) i believe frenshe will bring this back next fall along with an EDP version (definitely for the cooler months).

This would be great to layer with Snif's Naughty Nonna, on me I get the orange a lot, but a candied orange. It's very similar to Naughty Nonna but just softer and more gingery. I love it, I'll have to pick up the lotion, perfume oil and body oil at some point. *Oh, I know what it reminds me of, the way Burt's Bees Carrot body lotion smelled, if anyone remembers that.

This is such a warm and comforting body spray, I wore it almost daily in the fall/winter. I enjoy it on its own, but it's also great for layering to add extra sweetness and depth to other fragrances. Doesn't last more than an hour or two on skin, but is detecable all day on clothes. I am begging Ashley Tisdale to please make this permanent scent at Frenshe 🙏🏻

This is for sure my favorite body mist of all time. The things I would do for a perfume version??? Such a delicious and cozy chai scent. After being disappointed by Snow Moon Magic, this saved me. Will be wearing it every night before bed for the foreseeable future. I also love the lotion and body oil and the whole routine together just feels amazing

Mostly vanilla with some citrus and spice. So cozy and comforting! Like a hug for my soul. Wish it wasn't seasonal and also wish they would make this into a perfume. *Update - They DID in fact make this into a perfume!!! It smells exactly like the body mist and its amazing!

at first, I am blasted with spicer notes such as cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg. in a few secs the milk, oat, and vanilla pull through. it sits close to the skin but it still a very lovely scent. if you have ever drank golden milk, this smells just like it tastes.

My favorite body mist of all time. I really hope Being Frenshe brings it back next fall/winter! It is a delicious milky chai, slightly spicy scent. It lasts longer than majority of body mists I have, which is great for the price point.

spicy and creamy, ginger-forward, very wearable. doesn't last very long on skin but lasts for a few hours on clothing. been wearing it since it came out last fall, hoping frenshe brings it back! one of my favorite scents of all time.

super sweet cozy milky chai scent. i've noticed after purchasing both the body spray and the perfume oil that the body spray is a little sharper upon initial spray, while the oil is very rounded and warmly spiced throughout wear

Smelled this at target and it was love at first sniff <3 I had to get it! It’s so warm and comforting and smells like sweet chai oatmeal! I also think it’s a perfect fragrance to spray before you drift off to sleep :)

A spicy, sweet, powdery vanilla. I like how this is gourmand without being cloying or heavy. The bergamot, orange, and ginger keep this light and bright making it great for most seasons.

I look forward to wearing this every time, I wish it wasn’t limited edition and that it came in an EDP. It’s unique, warm and sweet, and more interesting than a typical sugary gourmand.

This is a great bed-time fragrance. It’s warm and comforting. I definitely get the nutmeg and the cinnamon. It’s creamy and sweet. I really like of the Being Frenshe scent profiles.

Reminds me of a chai latte or horchata. Incredible. Wish it lasted longer but if I layer it with the oil and lotion I get all day wear. Great bed time sent as well.

Cardamom and nutmeg latte, so comforting and relaxing before bed. For daytime wear I’ve been pairing it with Dusita Tonka Latte to enhance the latte experience.

This is magic in a bottle and the name matches perfectly. Cozy chai tea latte blanket! It needs to be a full time fragrance, I would love a edt or edp of this!

Sooooo comforting, milky, soothing... just beautifully simplistic yet elevated. Combine the lotion, oil and mist and you’ll almost have an EDP.

I'd been hearing people rave about this body mist for months. The unavailability only increased its allure. When Being Frenshe announced that Moon Milk was making a seasonal comeback, I started trolling the Target website every day. As soon as the Target website said my local store had Moon Milk in stock, I rushed over only to find the shelves empty. "That's fine," I told myself. "It probably hasn't been unboxed yet." I waited a week and a half, came back. Still, the shelves were empty. I asked a nearby employee if they knew whether the item was in stock, or if the website was wrong. He assured me it was just in the back, and he would be willing to unbox one for me if I wanted. I said that would be great! He disappeared for twenty minutes and returned with this beaming smile. "I found it!" he said. He didn't bring back an entire box to stock the shelf, just the one single item. I felt so guilty. I thanked him profusely, then stood there for a minute. I hadn't wanted to buy the item immediately; I wanted to smell it first, to see if it would be something I'd like. I uncapped it and took a little whiff. It was immediately disappointing, but with all the effort this guy went though to get it from the back, I couldn't just leave it on the shelf and walk away, right? My guilt drove me to buy this, even though I knew it wouldn't be my favorite. I tried it on in the car and, sure enough, it smelled the same way as in the bottle. I'm wearing it again today (it's been a few hours now since I first applied it), and the scent is nice, but not nice enough that I would have bought it on my own, unprompted by guilt. First, the scent is really weak. Much weaker than anything else Being Frenshe has made before. Second, it doesn't really smell like a chai latte to me. The notes suggest a complex, spicy composition smoothed out by a lactonic base. And from the other Being Frenshe scents I've enjoyed, I expected the scent to ring true to its marketing. But to my nose, it just smells sweet and creamy, yet kind of bland. I don't get any spiciness (no nutmeg, no cinnamon, no ginger, no cardamom). I do get the oaty milkiness, and it's nice. It smells like if Aveeno came out with a fragrance line. I like this item. I'm probably going to blast through it on days where I have a headache or don't want to smell much on my skin. This is a perfect low-scent body mist. But I really thought this would be like gingerbread milk in a bottle. Maybe it just needs to sit for a few weeks? I'm sure it gets better with time. But for right now, it's kind of fleeting and plain.

This is a comforting, delicious warm vanilla. It smells very much like a creamy vanilla chai latte. In the dry down, the nutmeg and spices become more noticeable, adding depth and coziness. It smells very realistic and not at all synthetic. The notes are beautifully blended, fusing together to create a lovely and unique fragrance. It's a bit reminiscent of root beer with extra vanilla. It’s light and not overwhelming, yet it still creates an enchanting, soft scent bubble around you, sending gentle wafts of fragrance into the air as you move about. It’s a delightful, casual scent for fall and winter. Perfect on a cold day, or before bed. It works great for layering as well. Overall, it’s a very dreamy fragrance. I love it. Rating: 7/10 Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 6/10 Side note: The dry down reminds me of something from my childhood or early teens, possibly Bonne Bell Lip Lix in Choc-It-Up or Nut-So-Fast.

Hey you! Yeah, you! Do you want to smell like a slightly sweet, aromatic, and somewhat overpriced chai latte from one of those indie coffee shops that should probably just stick to coffee? Try this out! I actually like this scent quite a bit, it has a creaminess that pairs very well with the vanilla/musk combination I tend to adore in fragrances. Doesn't last forever, but I don't ask or expect my body mists to do that. One thing that would be a game-changer is if it had a turmeric note somewhere! Imagine that! Overall, very pleased with this for a fragrance I happened upon in the clearance section (I had no idea this was a seasonal launch, lol).

I bought this last year because I felt my collection needed a warming scent to wear around Christmas time. This is my first gourmand purchase since I was 14 years old (I’m 25 now) and I did not regret this. I wanted something that felt new but familiar enough to still be grounding. The warming cardamom & cinnamon notes against the creamy milk base are so comforting but the zing from the ginger makes the mist feel very refreshing. The citrus note also balances out the sweetness so that the fragrance doesn’t seem too adolescent & overbearing.

I have the hair and body oil, and it smells waaaaay more like orange spice tea with a splash of vanilla oat milk vs. chai tea IMO. One of my aunts would always make me delicious orange spice tea when I was a kid, and this brings back a lot of wonderful memories. Despite having a milk note, Moon Milk doesn't turn sour or gross on me at all, as milk notes tend to do with my body chemistry. This is a lactonic, spicy scent done right. It's really soothing, cozy and subtle, definitely not an overwhelming, in-your-face spicy fragrance. :)

it really is pretty and soft when the warm base (vanilla, musk, milk, oat) shines through, however, this is not the case on most surfaces other than skin. in the hair and on fabric there is an odd sourness to the cinnamon and cardamom that smell pungent almost like how honey notes can go sour in a fragrance. however, when properly blended together by the grace of wherever it was sprayed, a balanced, sleepy, soft, dreamy spicy warm milk concoction comes through.

This is an amazing scent for bedtime, but also just for any day I want to smell cozy and now like a powerhouse. It's such a unique gourmand and it honestly smells like all the spices of a chai latte. I tend to wear this on Sunday morning breakfast runs or anytime I'm going to a cafe because it just suits so well.

really beautiful scent! smells more like oat milk than real milk. reminds one of the holidays because of the spices. if u love southeast asian food, it might remind u of that lmaooo. doesn’t smell like FOOD but yeah that’s the case at least with me. very much warmth and gratitude.

I've had it for about a week now. It smells very good, like oat milk with nutmeg and cinnamon. After a few days it weirdly smelt a bit minty? But I quite like it. It reminds me of the Womb body spray by Melanie Martinez actually, but more woodsy. Oh and it's woodsy subtly.

A smooth, milky nutmeg chai. Easy to wear and non-offensive. I like it. I got the perfume tester kit, so my review is for the actual perfume, not the body spray. Smell: 8 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

Wow, does this live up to the hype! I wish I had gotten 2 when I was at Target. If you like any type of gingerbread/chai scents you'll probably love this. Really hope they keep this one permanent!

She smells like a brown sugar oatmeal with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Very comfortable and cozy smell when you are home alone watching you're fav movie after a long day at work.

WOOO this is barely there! WAY weaker than anything at BBW. Hey, turn UP the Volume if this is released again, or made permanent. I dislocated my nose trying to smell it. The slight whiff I can conjure up is ok, nothing that hasn't been done 10,000 times the past 2 years. 2 out of 5 stars.

This is not worth the hype - it's a diluted Ginger Bisquit essentially and whoever said it's close to Sorce Snow Moon Magic has obviously never smelled the JM cologne because this is not even close. 🙄

Lightly spiced musky lactonics. ‘Moon Milk’ could have been interesting if it wasn't SO weak. Hopefully a perfume version releases at some point because this is far too understated 🤧

To my nose this is a watered down version of Jo Malone Ginger Bisquit.
