Oud Dark

I bought this based off the review below me. It doesn't ring citrus too much to me, unless they are sour. If so, then only at the start in the first 10 seconds... but I also get this smell that I'm trying to pinpoint and can't. Thought maybe it's a lumberyard with fresh cut wood (this is the "wood note"), fresh "sawdust", maybe a Catholic church incense smell (perhaps this is the "oriental note".) Whatever it is-- I like it but not quite sure what I'm smelling. I'll just say some sort of wood and shows throughout. I'm female and okay w/these types of notes. So in that regard, I classify unisex but women who like traditional female notes (like florals/sweet/fruity) might say unisex/male leaning. It keeps close to skin but I can smell it 6 hours later. I haven't attempted for longer yet. Atomizer is excellent. One pump covers my wrist to shoulder. Season? I picked Fall/Winter but I'm sure you could wear it in Spring/Summer but for those 2 seasons---I'd go with evening. The colder seasons---all day long. Heck...it was 94 degrees yesterday and I wore it all afternoon long. So you wear it when YOU want. I chose "love it" as it is slightly different from the other ones I own. But not LOVE it in the way that I will be wearing daily. For me, it helps me experience a mood I might want to create or just when I want to switch things up. According to the main accords, I'm not experiencing FRESH or CITRUS-- though...it JUST arrived the other day. I'd call it 90-95% wood smelling (at least to me) and 5% some kind of spice but low key.

This is a fantastic dry oud, slight citrus. Very unisex. I love this one.

Smells like smokey paan masala.
