Bench For Her

An obvious dupe for Dior's Poison Girl EDP. An absolutely delightful one at that! The opening is the same bitter orange, then it settles into a sweet jasmine instead of orange blossom...so it turns into Fleur de Femme by La Rive. Except the jasmine is much more subtle in this one. Within the hour the scent develops into a vanilla, sugar, almond, a hint woody/musky to prevent it being overly-sweet. Really yummy like vanilla cream!! Poison Girl is more complex and balsamic, however I find this one is more suitable for spring weather than its counterparts. Honestly I like Bench For Her. It's gourmand, delicious, feminine and sexy. It doesn't smell synthetic or burn my nose from alcohol. I'm surprised! I'll be slapping this on daily :)

Opens first with a nauseating alcoholic scent which thankfully settles quickly, bringing out the vanilla and more musky notes. Fine for every day use, but not my kind of scent unfortunately.

I wish I could leave a bit more of a sophisticated review for this fragrance, but the bottom line is that it smells a bit too much like a sickly sweet car air freshener to me...

Sweet, feminine and super-duper affordable! Opening spray is a very bitter orange which then quickly moves on to a sweet sugar, vanilla and almond dry down. Jasmine and Rose are there mingling somewhere but Bench For Her is not a floral perfume. This is a gourmand through and through. It's fresh and lovely and that smooth vanilla base is absolutely delicious and almost edible. I have never smelt Poison Girl, so I can't comment on the likeness, but I will say that I do really like this one a lot! This cost me £4.99 with postage and I'll definitely be using my bottle up.

Not bad at all... the opening reveals a boozy note but in 1 min it shows the orange+some flower... then it becomes warmer and smoother with a very light almond, vanilla, sugar and a delicate musky note. To my nose this one is less sweet than Poison Girl...
