Sound For Her

This cheapie is a brilliant dupe for Flowerbomb Nectar but without that overpowering gunpowder note. Sound opens up with a patchouli, pear and praline explosion. Very sweet and sugary. I find it to be quite loud, but it softens with vanilla, tonka and orange blossom. I think it's very feminine and easy to like. This isn't too similar to LVEB to me (it's my mother's signature scent, so believe me when I say I know how that smells!) but more like Flowerbomb Nectar. I just checked the bottles and they share 5 notes!! In fact, I like this one waaaay more because it's not so syrupy and is more fresh and suitable for Summer. The bottle is cute and simplistic and the peachy pink detail is actually quite nice. Very sporty or simplistic chic if you're into that sort of thing. I got this for a bargain £4.99 (including delivery) and I think it smells a lot more expensive for the price. If Victor&Rolf put this perfume in a fancy bottle, it would sell for £££. I really like it and now I want to try other Bench perfumes!

Dayum this is yummy! Basically La Vie Est Belle Eau de Toilette. No heavy patchouli here! It's all about the vanilla, praline, tonka with a musk dry-down. First spray is a nice fruity opening, the blackcurrant is there but faint, and then this quickly settles into that vanilla-jasmine-praline we all know and love. With a touch of soft powdery iris, of course. I find this a more work-appropriate version of LVEB, Bench Sound For Her also performs like a eau de toilette, so don't expect anything impressive there. There is nothing synthetic or alcoholic about this. SO far I really like it, and it's easy to pop into the bag for touch-ups. This is a classic, sweet, feminine, a touch sexy, gourmand suitable for warmer weather. A definite crowdpleaser!

I was in my local TKMaxx, looking as you do, as I love the tinned soaps. Not bought any perfume from there, not much out sadly. At the time of review it was £6.99. (Was £18) Tried this on a 19°c cloudy July day. I'm older than its aimed at. I don't get the variety that the others do, I think my nose doesn't pick all the notes out. On first spray I get the fleeting pear and blackcurrant, no iris, it goes very quickly to a caramel scent, it goes sharp to musk quickly too. It doesn't last long but at the price, I'll happily use again. May be better in autumn. Oh the previous reviews helped so thanks to those below mine. Finally I can't compare to any perfume but I'm happy on my blind buy.
