Laugh with me Lee Lee

This was the fragrance that initially sparked my interest in fragrance altogether. It was probably the launch year of Benefit's Crescent Row line, I was in a department store with my mom. Being a kid at the time, the colourful bottles stood out to me and after smelling them all, this was the one I was taken away by! A few years later I still remembered the smell and asked my mom to buy it me for my birthday. When given it I was so happy and felt a bit of nostalgia after being reunited with that fragrance I thought about all those years... So this was my signature scent in high school. I wore it everyday and would get a lot of compliments on it. I don't know what it is, maybe it's just a childhood thing, but there's just no other scent I've been drawn to as much as this one. I see a lot of comments calling it generic, but I suppose it's down to personal preference. Though I will say, it didn't last very long and it's a bit pricey for 30ml a bottle. I love how airy and feminine it is, it reminds me a lot of a sunny day in a field of flowers with girls running around giggling and having fun. I like the quirkiness of it, along with the other Crescent Row fragrances too, very cute concept! Unfortunately Benefit would discontinue this line a couple years back and as you can imagine I was quite upset about it. To this day I wish they would bring it back, but I suppose all good things come to an end. I still have my original 30ml birthday gifted bottle to this day with just a small amount left I refuse to ever spray again haha. I don't want to let it go just yet.

I found this perfume while shopping at a Sephora outlet in Malaysia. I remember it was extremely a hot day and I was sweating non stop. So I tried to find something that I could easily wore during the humid day time since my Si by Georgio Armani was too cloying for my liking. I ended buying three bottles of Benefit perfumes; Your Place or My Place, Gina; Garden of Eva; and Laugh With Me Lee Lee. This Laugh With Me Lee Lee smells so earthy and fresh to me. I wear it day and night and I feel that it is very pleasant. It smells a little bit like incents to me. Sweet, a little smokey and very earthy. Besides that it is also quity airy and pleasant. Suitable for everyday use. The longivity is very long on me, however the silage is weak. After an hour, one have to come close to the skin to smell it. However it last longer on my clothes. I remember put some before I went to bed one night and I woke up the next morning after about 8 hours sleep and was wondering what was the good smell that I kept smelling around me. Then I realized it was coming from my nighty. That is why I think it is a good perfume to be considered as signature scent, and this perfume is something that one could easily remember because it is different. Give a try. Oh, Laugh with me Lee Lee is just lovely!! I was out today and I got a whiff of perfume, smelled very familiar to me but I couldn't put my finger on it, a lovely fresh floral fragrance... it took a few minutes but I finally realized it was Laugh with me Lee Lee! It brought memories back as I used to wear it, as well as Something About Sofia by Benefit back in 2010! Great for everyday use, good value as well! I remember going to the pharmacy back in the day and getting Something About Sofia in the first place, but I was literally torn apart between Sofia and Lee Lee. I came back to the pharmacy on the night of the same day and I got myself Lee Lee as well, and to be honest, that's the one I prefer! This one's definitely a summer fragrance. Playful, flirty, a bit cheeky. It's a nice, fresh, floral slightly fruity and a tiny bit spicy at the same time. It's not a cheap ass perfume that lasts about 20 minutes, but it's not a high fashion scent either. The kind of fragrance you don't feel bad for wearing to work, but is still great quality. One of these days I'm gonna treat myself to another bottle of Lee Lee!

For those of you who liked this perfume and are wondering about a dupe, this may sound crazy and it’s been many years since I smelled Laugh with me Lee Lee- but, I recently bought a perfume sampler and was testing Versace‘s Donna born in Roma. Frankly, I was not a fan as I prefer others like like Tom Ford, etc. In any case, I was giving Donna another try and I started to realize that it reminded me of something and it took me back to the days when I wore Benefit’s LWMLL. Then I went searching online to see if it was still available and of course it was discontinued, as I had thought. I don’t remember the scent as well anymore but for some reason as I am wearing this Valentino, Donna born in Roma, it seems to remind me of that perfume. If any of you try the Versace and still remember LWMLL, please post and advise if you think they are similar.

I still have this stashed away after splashing out the hefty sum of (I think) $60 in my early twenties. It's still lovely, although I don't wear it often. It's classified as a floral woody fragrance on here, but to me it's also a bit aquatic. It's fresh, sweet, and a little bit green. I recently picked up Black Opium Neon, and for some reason it reminds me of this. Side by side they are not the same, but I do see why I thought of this when I smelled Neon. This is more fresh and green and less sweet than that, but if you like this you might want to try that. I do wish I'd kept the packaging, as for some reason the bottles in the open boxes remind me of little toilets in cubicles, which I think is hilarious and probably not at all what the marketing team was going for.

Absolutely stunning... I've been wearing this one for years. I can't seem to get away from it! The scent is so soft, creamy, sexy and fun. I literally cannot stop smelling it. Does anyone know of another perfume like this that can make me stray? It's so hard to move on to something else after this!

I wanted to find a dupe for Laugh With Me Lee Lee by Benefit and came across this fragrance. I blind bought the large bottle and it does smell very similar to the DNA, though a bit more aquatic. This is a solid "like" so if anyone wants to swap and give it shot, hit me up.

This is such a lovely perfume. It's impossible to offend with it. I can't see anyone hating this, or even not liking it! The perfect combination of floral notes combined with sweetness, and enough complexity thrown in there to make this stand out as a higher end perfume.

Oh I love this fragrance its long lasting fresh and easy to wear.It smells expensive I can tell its been nicely done high quality fragrance.The bottle is too cute.I have to buy the other two fragrances these are adorable.

I really enjoyed its light hearted country garden feel. An easy to wear woody floral. Shame this has been discontinued. Can anyone suggest something similar?

I love this perfume as a casual summer's day scent. It's light and airy, yet super stylish for a young woman. Smells different from anything else.

A lush fragrance oriental flowers, citruses and greenery. A beautiful and soft perfume for the summer. Good job, Benefit!

OK so for years I have had my eye on this scent... and the other day I decided to actually buy it as it was on sale in Boots for just under £20 along with 3 minis so bargain really! Anyway. I thought I loved this smell but I can say I am slightly disappointed :( it smells nice, but nowhere near as great as I assumed/remembered. It fades quickly on a warm day and I find myself re-spraying often. To me its an indistinct powdery girly scent and is fairly inoffensive. Saying that, you cant deny the beauty of the Crescent Row perfume bottles, and Lee Lee is no exception. All in all I would give this one a 6/10 in general, 4/10 for sillage and 6/10 for longevity.

I bought this on a whim because I needed a fragrance to keep in my purse. I bought the travel size. The bottle itself looks like a decorated golden opium orb. Each Benefit fragrance has a theme/room and this one is cool, blue toned theme/room that was really my style. The light, airy theme matches the scent. I liked the smell. It is a light, floral, powdery scent(didn't get a fruity scent at all) and not overpowering or strong (imo). It wouldn't be a fragrance I would purchase again because this brand is my BFF's and well being females we like to make claims on silly things like that!

This was definately one of the nicest perfumes I had bought on a whim. I like Benefit cosmetics, so I bought Laugh With Me Lee Lee after trying it and liking it. It's sweet but breezy and catches one's attention in a soft but girly voice. Polite but demanding, this perfume reminds me of lemonade, pink cupcakes and girls running in sunday dresses at a picnic at a park, not far from a lake. Staying power for this perfume is about an hour and a half, though. So keep spritzing and enjoy! Lee Lee is the girl in the mint colored dress. ^_^ Scent 9/10 Staying Power 6/10

First notes are really nice, fresh, optimistic and surprisingly green (cause, looking at the notes, can't see much green.) Really charming, spring & summery scent - I have thought. However, late middle notes have started to be sour on my skin, possibly due to intense lily. I like lily fragrance, but only in small doses. And base notes, ugh, it is very intense sandalwoood. I could not smell anything else. All in all, if you like strong lily and sandalwood, you might like it.

I smell a fresh blend of florals plus woodsy notes in the drydown. This is a non-effensive, pretty floral, a bit generic and safe, but very pleasant. I get no citrus from this. This is very light and you need to be very close to smell it.

Like it. Bought it today after testing for the first time. I'd like to sent more cassis,but feel a lily most of all. Well,after all,not bad. Easy,not too sharp,not to sweet. It's ok! ))) Specialy for hot summer.

For me this is too light and crisp. It's not lasting long and has a citrus note. It's such a shame that Benefit scents never seem to last long :(

Packing is cute but the scent...I don't like it,the scent to me is a mix of citrus and bug spray.....ick!

Many people here in Australia constantly rave about these quaint yet inexpensive fragrances by Benefit. The truth is they're cute, girly and interesting - far from being cheap and repulsive, and they're best sellers, particularly here on my side of the world. Laugh with me Lee Lee is a delicate woody floral with smooth fruity undertones. The scent tends to be quite lush and very pretty on the skin with the melon providing a slight watery-ness that goes down a treat. The overall composition is rather pale and inoffensive, being a very quiet and light-hearted fragrance. Towards the heart, especially with the immergence of the jasmine and lily, Laugh with me Lee Lee becomes quite buttery and smooth, with the sandalwood enveloping the floral notes. Many say that this is a lovely Summer scent, however I find that this fragrance could wear well all year round. I'm a huge fan of the packaging. The quaint, little ceramic bottles, shaped like cocktail shakers are absolutely adorable. I find the whole concept endearing. The lasting strength is unfortunately the only let-down. I wanted the playfulness of this scent to last just that little bit longer.

My first fragrance, gifted to me by my grandmother, who smelled it at the Belk makeup counter and thought of me. She told me it was important for a lady to have a signature fragrance. A bookish seventh grader, I didn't have a makeup routine or personal style yet. I remember being charmed by the perfume's name and packaging, how they activated my imagination. With a few sprays, I could embody Lee Lee, who I pictured blonde, freckled, and for some reason carrying a parasol. First L in cursive, the second L printed. All the potential energy of a budding, feminine whimsy. If I could go back in time and speak with seventh grade me, I'd tell her to pay more attention to mom's and grandma's advice, to spend more time playing outside, and not to share her bottle of Laugh with Me Lee Lee with the whole girls' locker room -- it'll be discontinued one day!

Out of the Crescent Row collection (the other 3 new fragrances included), Laugh with Me LeeLee is the most youthful and playful-smelling. It's exuberant and flirtatious with the opening citrus notes, accompanied by an intriguing leafier smell I would associate with younger people. Cassis, as I'm after finding out now, is apparently what I was smelling in the head notes. It's a shame it doesn't hang around for long; after about 10 minutes the woodsy middle notes of sandalwood begin to emerge, tempering the previous lemon bursts and floral bouquets. Jasmine stays right through till the end, which is a little strange I thought, because it seems to give LeeLee a rather mature, muskier conclusion. Sillage isn't bad, but the lasting power is below average. Only buy this one if you'd really love LeeLee in your springtime wardrobe.

Lee lee open fresh and breezy on my skin with a slight hint of floral and fruits. Lee Lee is inspired by the aromas of an English garden, and holds that airy, fresh feeling in it's opening for quite sometime. The strongest flower that I can detect is definitely jasmine. It manages to stay right till the end. But the jasmine here doesn't have that typical heady aroma that it's famous for. Mixed in with citrus and melon, it's soft as a whisper. The amber/woods take a while to develop but even when they take the stage, they are still softened by the flowers. The lasting power is amazing for a $36 perfume.

Laugh with me Lee lee smells much more girly and younger? than the other two in this collection. In the start, I almost thought Laugh with me Lee Lee will be a copycat of Moschino's Funny! due to the citruses. Anyway, it's nice. however, it transforms after around 15 minutes on my skin. It reminds me of Juicy Couture's Vi Va La Juicy. the kind of sweet gourmant fruity floral scent. Interesting bottle and nice girly juice inside. However, it's somehow too generic. I've bought it only for the bottle.

This is indeed a light floral/woody scent. The citrus components dissipate fairly quickly, leaving the florals. The amber/woods take a while to develop but even when they come to the fore, they are still softened by the flowers. It is long lasting. I still smell it on my arm after 6 hours, although it is close to the skin. It isn't ground breaking and it won't wow anybody, but it is pleasant for day wear and for summer.

For anyone who may be looking for a dupe, I just received a sample of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Italian Love EDT, and I instantly thought of this perfume. After comparing the notes between these two perfumes I can see I was right, both have a base with sandalwood, both have jasmine as a middle note and citrus top notes. Really lovely, sophisticated and nostalgic.

Yes absolutely, an English garden! At first I thought it was unremarkable, but I think I was too smitten by Something About Sofia at the time. When I judged (or should I say sniffed) it on its own merits I could appreciate the ethereal, lovely layers!

I like this one out of all the others. Laugh with me Lee Lee is the easiest scent to wear out of the other three in the collection. Powdery sweet but not something remarkable in my opinion. Anyway, it's perfect for everyone and hot summer day.

this is a nice floral scent nothing over powering or anyting. I do however like how it smells a few hours after having it on much better than in the beginning as it turns almost masculine.

Smells very similar to Dior's Pure Poison to me. I wore this as a teenager and loved it. Crowd-pleasing whilst still being a little individual.

Fresh, but not overly young. I mostly get lily, melon and light, woody notes. Nice, but nothing amazing. A nice office fragrance.

If Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming and Éclat D'arpege had a babe, this would be it! More Dreaming in the dry down. Me likey very much.

it was an explosion of light watery flowers~ then pouf! it's gone. not lasting at all. the bottle and box was cute though...
