Love it! It's deffinitely an everyday perfume. Refreshing and you can smell the spicy.

Clean and fresh smell not too young like other benettons suitable for office time. I love smell of fresh Yuzu (unlike the rotten yuzu in issey pour homme) and ginger. Drydown with wood moss musk and amber make me feel smart and sexy.

It smells okay, just like the old barbershop scent in the market, but the sprayer needs to be better (it was leaking in the sealed box when I got it). The bottle design is good. It's okay to be a room spray or something for $11 to me.

This has more character than the original Cold. Pleasant and mildly spicy.

So yeah, this has been heavily reformulated. For context, this was one of the first perfumes I remember owning, alongside the OG Cold and Charlie Blue, all of which were gifts from my parents. It was my signature scent throughout elementary school and into my early high school years. I don't really remember exactly how my original bottle smelled, and I bought a newer bottle last year from a local gray-market seller purely for the nostalgia. The scent didn't really resemble anything I remembered, but I had nothing to compare it to until I found an older batch on my mom's shelf. It was a leftover from a bulk shipment of Benetton Hot & Cold fragrances that my dad brought home from Saudi years ago, although I'm not sure exactly how old the bottle is. Starting with the bottle itself, the old batch seems to be of noticeably higher quality. The twist cap has firmer resistance and gives a satisfying click when you close it. The logo is also thicker on the old bottle and sits slightly lower compared to the new one. The bottom of the old bottle has a sticker, while the new bottle has the information printed directly onto the glass. As for the scent, they're drastically different. The newer bottle smells very pungent, sour, and oddly spicy. It's difficult to describe, but it almost has a sweaty armpit vibe to it. The old bottle, on the other hand, is aromatic and aquatic, with subtle citrus facets. I'm not sure whether the older bottle simply changed over time because of its age or storage conditions, or if the current formulation of Cold Silver is genuinely different. I kept trying to convince myself that the new bottle smelled fine, but every time I compare the two, I find the old batch much more pleasant. After posting my findings in a local fraghead Facebook group, a lot of people agreed that the scent had changed and that this wasn't the Cold Silver they remembered. Apparently, it has also been discontinued (which came as a surprise), considering it's still widely available and sells for cheap here in the Philippines.

Rating: 2/5 Top notes last 5 minutes (timed them. Rest becomes a skin scent at the 20 minutes mark for me. Prominent Yuzu, Ginger, Sage, Fresh Spices and a very Syrupy Amber. All notes are quite synthetic, so it can be cloying. Smells exactly like an old Gillette Gel Deodorant did, albeit slightly sweeter. I think that if you're looking for a scent to use in the gym or to hide other smells, there are better ones out there in the same price range. Free of dyes. Edit: A summary of prominent notes was added. Edit #2: Bathroom spray approved, but only if you have twin boys or a construction trailer restroom because this smells extremely cheap. Also sprayer is about to give out and I've only spent <10% of juice.

One word --- Headache I don't like strong citrus perfumes of men just like this one. A Total turn off.

Just received my cold silver and at first spray you feel the alcohol, after about 20 seconds then you start to smell the actual juice. This fragrance is really good for the price. I bought mines for about $10 wih free shipping for a 3.3oz. The dry down is great. Projection lasts about 1 hour on my skin and then it becomes a skin fragrance talk about up close and personal. I give it a 5 out of 10. It smells pretty nice. I tried it in 88 degree weather the next time i will spary it on a night cap to see if it releases longer fumes lol. Overall i would recomend it for someone on a really tight budget also for someone starting to collect. This bottle is nice with the whole nob as a trigger, pretty cool. (y) UPDATE: After putting this on and going to my closet i came to a conclusion that this fragrance smells similar to Gucci by Gucci Sport but only a bit sweeter.. Love this scent.

Cold Silver by Benetton is a robust and zestful citric-aromatic cologne. The opening is pungent with yuzu, ginger, sage, and woods. Later in the drydown, more sublime woodiness takes the lead, accompanied by lingering sage, musk, and a only light nuance of amber. This an exceptionally bold fresh aromatic scent; more than worthy of its low clearance price. The bottle's 'faucet' knob does need to be twisted to press the spray nozzle, ...and that is a bit annoying. There are other scents in this line: Cold, Hot, and Hot Gold. ....I should try some others. Interestingly, the 'cold' scents are marketed to men and the 'hot' to women. How odd? According to Benetton even temperature has gender.

I just got this today-blindly-and I must say, it wasn't a disappointment. There's nothing special about it but it has a decent scent. I was expecting it smells a bit like the original Benetton Cold (one of my favs from the 90's) but, no. Cold Silver is sexier and modern. it's worth the money though, it's inexpensive and I honestly like the bottle =)

I Purchased UCB's Cold Silver as my first international fragrance. The Smell of Yuzu is good but longetivity is only 3-4 hours.Doesn't mind because of cheaper price but nothing extra-ordinary in this smell. Can be used in day to day wear.

Fun scent for daily activities. If you think you hate it, wait until its middle note comes up. You're going to love it up to its base note. Be patient with this casual perfume. over all : 7/10
