Momentum Unbreakable Eau de Parfum

Nice, light, airy, restrained but fairly complex, well-balanced, slightly bubble bath-like, grey-blue-green, spring-friendly fragrance. I got this because, much as I love Encre Noire Sport in the spring, ENS can sometimes seem quite austere (when it decides to be more Encre Noire than Sport). This one is credible but lighter, fruitier and more frivolous than ENS. Once the orangey peel and violet leaf up top here start to recede, I get more of a herbaceous or vegetal vibe, where presumably the immortelle and vetiver are among the big players. (There's a touch of underlying creamy soapiness too, probably from some combination of the vetiver, iris and/or lavender. What part the papyrus may be playing in all this, I'm not sure.) It reminds me of the kind of effect I've seen listed as a nettle accord in a couple of other fragrances. It's not jagged or even sharp (bitter) exactly but it definitely is green. But there's still plenty of musky fruit rind or something too, a little dustiness or powder in the heart, and so on. This is not dazzling or assertive but it is solid, inoffensive, very nice, and appropriate for multiple contexts (none showy) in the warmer months. I live in Scotland and see a lot of cool, damp weather that will fit with this. Performance is modest but adequate.

Ok, so I have these two: BM Intense BM Unbreakable. First off, about BMU, there's nothing wrong about the scent profile. Nice, got uniqueness too I think. And it has interesting development from the first spray through the dry down. Very fresh at first, then turns slightly sweet & interesting floral, then ends with light earthy vetiver kind of. Never tried Santal 33, so I can't say anything about the comparison. For me, it's an interesting masculine fresh floral scent. Very versatile, signature scent worthy, all year round. Then when it comes to performance, this is where I compare to BMI. My experience, I sprayed 2 BMI on the chest, and like 6 or 8 times BMU on my neck, wrist, even cloth. Few hours later, the whiff I smelled every now and then was the BMI. So, conclusion for me after wearing both BMI & BMU: SCENT: BMU 8/10 BMI 9/10 UNIQUENESS: BMU 7.5/10 BMI 7.5/10 PERFORMANCE: BMU 7/10 BMI 8.5/10 PRICE: Both 9/10 Nothing wrong to have both especially if you're a collector. But for myself, BMI is the one I definitely want to re-purchase or have a back up bottle.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again now, I don't really do reviews. I was in two minds with this one, I wanted something versatile, and not too over the top; professional, but not boring. I really don't socialise or get out often enough to justify some of my more dramatic purchases, and feel like a bit of a knob wearing honey tobacco plum whatever to my rather dull office. This should hit the mark, I'm finding it really pleasant so far, interesting, but understated. The ever-reliable JustTheFactsMan nailed it again, the Dunhill Icon Elite similarity is there, but this isn't as dark and I think will be far more wearable. One other minor point, I thought the bottle might be a bit of a let down (not that that matters much) but it's quite nice, and the label on the front isn't just a "pretty" sticker, it's an interesting stone texture. I guess coming from Lalique I shouldn't have worried. Anyway. If you're on the fence, i reckon you should go for it. But, if it doesn't sound like you it probably isn't. I'll get plenty of wear from it though.

#427 in my "Tour de Fragrance" The opening leans citrus, way more freshie than I expected, but then gets green and herbal. You could get away with this in the Summer. Does remind me of Abercrombie and Fitch "Fierce", with iris not violet, which for me is an improvement. And let's face facts. Fierce is kind of weak, even for an EDT. Similar also to Alfred Dunhill "Icon Elite", but with better projection and a bit more sharp. This will not offend the carpool, elevator riders or folks in the office. Very much a Business Class scent. If you've experienced Absolute, Black Edition, Intense, this is not similar at all to any of those, which I consider more mature wear. This scent is fine for all ages and settings, and like the other Bentley EDPs, an insane bargain at $28! Good hunting!

Such a reliable scent ! Nothing flashy or very exciting, but sometimes playing it safe is mandatory. This is the perfect scent for that. I mainly get Mandarin, Violet Leaf, Vetiver and Lavender. Still, it smells unique, doesn't smell super generic or like a shower gel, and for that price the quality of the ingredients are superb. It's one of the most versatile scents of my collection, it does a little bit of everything superbly, from winter to fall, day and night, every scenario...

This is another great scent from Bentley this how ever is a more mature scent. A lot of herbs going on at least on my skin. And the dry down is also earthy as well. It performs as expected for an EDP. I would suggest that this is a more warmer weather scent or climate controlled. Could be a nice office scent.

Received a sample of this with an order and I really like it. Slightly reminds me of a more subtle and masculine version of Allure Sport. Nothing groundbreaking, but a good solid everyday scent. May have to get a bottle at some point. Have been impressed with the Bentley fragrances I've tried.

Surprisingly green and fresh, but also complex enough to wear all year round. Scent not that distinctive, but good for office. The opening is a mixture of fruit, floral, and greens that somehow isn't offensive. 8.5/10

I really like this a lot! Im surprised no one has mentioned its similarity with Lalique L’Insoumis. To me they are EXTREMELY similar - which is fine by me because I love L’Insoumis as well!

This is amazing. The opening is SOOOO fresh. Like extremely juicy and sour, love it! I'm trying to find the similarities with Santal 33 but I see literally NONE

Great smell, very high end composition and presentation. Quite unique smell and could be worn in various situations & seasons.

Bentley ~ Momentum Unbreakable 2021 EDP: A High Class Gentleman type Green Freshie, best suited for warmer days, can also be worn on cooler days. I wouldn't wear this on a very cold day, nor on a very hot day. On colder days: This has a lot of different fresh cut Stems from Herbs, Plants, Flowers and Leafs, with a hint of light wood. It reminds me of walking through a Botanical Garden. It's not like walking into a flower shop, nor like freshly cut grass. Not much of the Iris note i expected it to have. This is not tropical leaning. This is not feminine leaning. The closest I can think of at the moment, is smelling the Leaf still on an Orange or Tangerine, and getting a whiff of the fruit as well. On warmer days: I get more of the Floral notes, they blend well with the Green notes from colder days. This fragrance changes from "Green" on colder days to "Floral Green" on warmer days. The change is more significant than expected. After ~3 hours it gives off a Cozy, Warm, Woody, Herbaceous, Aromatic, soft Green and vaguely Spicy scent. For an affordable parfume, it's an fairly complex composition that changes with skin temperature to a greater extent than expected. BUTT.... This doesn't resemble an EDP, even as an EDT it feels a bit over the top in my opinion. Kudos to Ane Ayo and Fabrice Pellegrin, they did a remarkable job putting together this complex and beautiful composition, too bad Bentley didn't follow up.

It combines the sweet and fresh fragrance DNA with the aromatic fougere DNA and then adds in a scratchy sandalwood note in the drydown. This is a good blend of floral, citrus, herbal, patchouli musk and woody aromas with lavender, fresh patchouli musk and sandwood being the predominant notes. There is a strong herbal note here as well, which may throw off some noses and come off as a very vegetal smell. This is very masculine for a freshie type fragrance. It's not unisex so I'd warn female users off due to the vegetal note. This great for cooler weather in the Spring and Fall and would also be great in the Summer, especially during social occasions and outdoor activities. Performance is good and the price is great for a designer, which is true of the entire Bentley line. Presentation is stylish. Recommended.

The opening is great: modern, fresh and masculine, split between a blue and a green fragrance: a bouquet of flowers and grass on a classic aromatic base. Sadly the drydown smells somewhat of old man wardrobe to me, very vegetal and lavander-ish, as if my nose went noseblind to the "blue" note and was left with just the green. My GF states it smells of "male deodorant" in that moment though, so i know the blue part is still there. It also disappears completely from my skin whenever i sweat even just a drop, so sadly i cannot wear it in the hottest summer days, where it would shine. It's perfect for the nighttime though! With 7 sprays it'll last the night, with faint traces detectable the morning after. The herbal side sticks to the clothes like glue, you'll smell it even days later It layers great with any fragrance that one may find "too sweet", making them more masculine and cutting back the sweetness

I got a faulty bottle. Label/plate in front was not properly glued and shaped to fit the bottle (minor issue). The plastic inside the cap was broken and the cap was wobbly with the broken off piece stuck around the atomizer. Cellophane wrapping was untouched so something must have happened on the production line or during packaging. The fragrance itself is nice but I am starting to doubt my own nose to be honest. It just feels surprisingly light and does not act like most EDP's I have experienced. Projection is soft and the longevity does not compensate. Perhaps some time and warmer weather might improve the first impression. Daytime, spring and summer, and workplace friendly.

A nice addition to the Bentley Momentum line. Longevity and Sillage are as the others in this line which are average at best. Unbreakable is pleasant enough and totally inoffensive which is a good office and casual fragrance. 7 out of 10 for me but there is nothing new or unique about this one. Being a new one I was surprised at the price I paid for this on Ebay for my bottle. They are asking around £65/$90 for this September 2021 and I managed with a successful bid to pick mine up for £28/$40! Lucky me huh😏?! Unbreakable is a nice scent but not a great one that's for sure!

I got a sample of this for cheap and it's serviceable. I think it's the most interesting of the fragrances in the Momentum line, shifting away from the quasi-aquatic vibe in favor of an herbal, woody scent. The mandarin orange is blended really well with the more bitter notes, which makes the fragrance smell fresh and classy at the same time. The performance is mediocre, unfortunately, so I'm not going to run out and buy this. I could see it being a nice dress-up fragrance for someone on a budget though.

Actually i dont like bently perfumes.. but this fragrance so nice .. can wear it all seasons .. the opening is nice with the orange and herbs when dry down wooow amazing the iris and slightly sweet with hint of patchouli and vetever the perfume overall its really balanced and mixed very well .. blind buy? I guess yes / still I didn’t try the longevity and sillage .. but the smell is nice and balnced and good for signature scent .. i give it 7.5/10 it’s really worth

This is 👍 great! Reminds me 100% of Brioni edp. I truly believe that is what they were going for with this one. Truly different and good. Edit: after spending more time with this one I really fell in love. It has a mixed scent between Brioni edp and Brioni intense. It’s very very nice! And lasts a very long time on my skin. Projects well. The immortal/ iris combo is perfection! I don’t think it smells like santal 33.... There is much more depth here.

Opens with a hit of mandarin orange and herbal papyrus and immortelle. The iris is non-lipsticky and violet leaf feels fresh. In the dry down the iris takes over and the fragrance loses the 'old-man herbal' facet. The immortelle is a great addition, and works well with the iris, blending to become a honeyed tobacco note. The best in the momentum line.

First of all...IMHO....Bentley Momentum Unbreakable.....is only a "vibe" of Lebo Santal 33, and it does not carry the performance of Santal 33 either. The scent is very pleasant and easy to wear IMO...om me. Moderate performance....however...it does leave a somewhat nice scent trail. Nothing "remarkable"...but still a nice scent.

Smells good but isn’t amazing. Does not smell like K edp at all not sure why that’s even on the reminds me list. This is best suited for casual/work place. It’s a bit flowery masculine and has sternness to it. I find it just a little generic and performance is moderate so I’m not crazy over this one. But overall it’s good

A very pleasing fresh citrus, floral and woody perfume. Longevity and silage are both moderate to good. Good quality bottle too. A lovely Summer fragrance along the lines of Aqua Fahrenheit It's a love from me.

Easy to wear, fresh versatile and pleasant. Same type of perfume as Burberry Touch. A nice fragrance with a decent longevity and projection.

A fresher version of Brioni Eau de Parfum Intense. A like for me.

I really like this one, yet somehow the notes are misleading. I'd say the first note is "sweet" in an an ambery/aromachemical way that is almost a grape-like. This is paired with citrus for a citrus soda like smell, making it rather youthful to me. Hence its similarity to Icon Elite or Fierce. That's paired with the herbal woodiness of santal 33, but it's in no way dry like Santal 33 or similar fragrances. Moderate longevity. I usually get 5-6ths which is fine for the cost but not amazing.

Very high quality for the price, like most of the Lalique Bentley fragrances. It does seem to have some similarities to Santal 33, but it's much closer to Lalique's l'Insoumis. This is a hybrid fougere of types. I definitely get the strong aromatics (especially the lavender and papyrus) and it is very green. The opening reminds me of sticky pine sap and it smells very natural. I could see some people thinking it's derivative or generic, but Ilike it.

This one is sh!t I dont know maybe I received a faulty unit, but its unlikely because its a trusted source. This is what I smell A metallic flat smell of violet, initially first 30 seconds it has some citrus. Later after 30 seconds its just a flat smell that is not perfumery, it just smells of some plant, mostly violet, but its flat and one dimensional If this is how it is supposed to smell which most likely is this is a 0.25/10

Call me crazy but the drydown on my skin is like Halfeti. This fragrance is something else. Here in Austria currently 25 Euros. Can't skip this awesome surprise. Fantastic. 10/10
