#1552 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Nothing about the notes in this scent gave me any reason to expect I would like it. The combination just seemed counterintuitive to me. Some of these notes in other scents have not worked for me. I haven't cared for scents with any lactonic notes. Dill and rosemary? I don't even use them in making vegetable soup. But this combo really, really works. Solid longevity, moderate silage. Floral without being overly feminine. I'd never heard of this fragrance or this fragrance house, found the samples on ScentSplit and thought, "what the hell." Bepolar now has my attention. Perfumer Angelo Orazio Pregoni has my attention. Earthy, rich, herbal, this stuff is totally my jam. Not cheap ($165-$220) so get a decant to try out first. If you like this you should also try out Nobile 1942 "Vespri Aromatico." I don't want to be the first person to write a review here for a couple of reasons. First, I didn't like it very much, and second, my experience was radically different from what the notes would have you believe. It could be me?, a bad batch somehow?, or more likely a label mixup, as I got this as a trial decant online. Will wait and see what others say. 🙊❤️
