Waterfall Mist

I love this perfume. Im not sure why others have such a distaste for it. What I will say is I really gravitate towards that old fashion, powdery, grandma-esk fragrance. So if that sounds like you as well you will probably enjoy too.

Yup, I bought it for the bottle. But, it smells really pretty too. It reminds me of lebanese tea. It's fresh (but not in a marine or laundry way) floral and just a little sweet. The mint and lemon really balance the roses and violets.

I think this perfume would smell a *lot* better if that beeswax note weren’t so friggin’ prominent!!!! It adds a not-so-nice smell to it, but it very much does fit that 1950s decade, as the brand intended.

I've owned this fragrance since release and never found myself reaching for it. Although the bottle is absolutely adorable and I love seeing it sit on my shelf, the fragrance itself falls flat. To me it just smells like rose water (which is a scent I personally dislike), nothing much else to say about it. I don't get aquatic or citrus from this fragrance, just waxy and kind of stale rose water. Adorable as a figure, not memorable as a fragrance.

I finally tracked down a bottle of this. It's in great shape despite the box being worn. I was prepared for the worst with the perfume given the reviews here, but was pleasantly surprised!! I'm finding it quite delightful. It's so interesting to me that it opens with honeyed beeswax and moves through to a sweet lemon-mint that's tempered with soft rose and violet. It is not what I would expect from the name and bottle at all. I don't feel it's old fashioned or medicinal in the least. It's whimsical and unexpected and actually performs really well for what I had fully expected was going to be a poorly executed novelty. Way to go, Besamé!!

I bought this for the bottle! It is a beautiful gorgeous bottle. However the fragrance is not for me. We do not like her and unfortunately she has not aged well. This has an extraordinarily prominent waxy note and it doesn't really mix well with that mint note which gives it almost an aquatic feel. So it smells like waxy water.

It smells like a mint chapstick.
