Oh my.. This is heat! I was afraid having this and Bharara King might be redundant, it's not. You can smell some of the original King scent profile a bit, but the chocolate note adds an entirely different dimension to the fragrance. Not overly sweet or gourmond type of chocolate. Just an added richness and depth to the existing sweet King DNA (Erba Pura) that really makes this shine. In the process of getting a back up bottle because this scent resonates with me. Out of the 100 bottles, this one is the first one I think is truely backup bottle worthy. The listed notes here seem to be off. A Google search will clearfy, because the chocolate note is DEFINITELY present and well received

The listed notes are wrong here. Directly from their site: top notes: Sicilian orange, Calabrian bergamot, and Sicilian lemon middle notes: jasmine, sandalwood, cophau (copahu) balsam, cashmere wood, and ambergris base notes: Madagascar vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, icing sugar, and Siam benzoin With that said, what I get from this is an Erba Pura like DNA with a heavy dose of chocolate. I don't necessarily like it but don't dislike it either. My biggest issue is when and where to wear this. It's too dense for the spring/summer months with the additional chocolate/vanilla and too fruity for the cold months. Personally it's just a hard grab since I have better seasonal options. Not really safe for office/work environment either. It does have a light-up bottle though so that's a nice little touch.

Ordered for £31, so the price is great. I own King EDP, and the opening of this made me almost regret the purchase—that is, until the chocolate came through. I'd describe this as a darker, less sweet King EDP with hazelnut and chocolate. Regarding performance, the longevity is good. It didn't last noticeably more than 12 hours on my skin. The projection is basically a skin scent, but the sillage is the star. When you move, it leaves this beautiful scent trail in the air that makes you want to follow it with your nose like a cartoon character sniffing the aroma of pie. It doesn't perform as well as King EDP, but some might prefer it for the darker, less sweet, and more masculine take.

It starts out with synthetic citruses with a touch of spice, then moves to lots of synthetic vanilla, with hints of synthetic wood and fruity accord. I don't have anything against synthetics when used well, and some are even expensive, novel, and breakthroughs. But the materials used here are not in that camp.The overall experience is that it smells tacky and cheap. If you're dating anyone above the Mendoza and want to make a good impression, pick a different date night fragrance. I'd rather spend the money on a travel atomizer of the good stuff, than a 100ml of cheap middle eastern clone houses.
