Onyx

This is fucking beautiful! That green apple steals the show for me. Post wear update: So, the first 10 to 15 minutes is the Bergamot and some coriander, but the show starts when the apple steps in afterwards. I'm not even a big fan of apple, but I love this one! That apple stays around till the backend of the drydown. Its almost like the apple is lush with a tad bit of bitterness...I love that character. I detect the vanilla in the drydown as well. The ambroxin works as the scaffolding to this fragrance. I can't pick out the ambroxin clearly, but it's definitely the bedrock of this scent. In combination, the ambroxin, vanilla, and the apple are the main characters, again with the apple being the star. The projection was about 1.5 hours, but this is first wear of a new bottle. Longevity was 10 hours. Just an insane value proposition in comparison to the original!

This is a GEM! The smell, the performance, the bottle, the nozzle, the packaging, everything. Extremely underrated scent that is a compliment magnet. Literally every that smells this asks me what I'm wearing and how great it smells. :) it's a task to tell them the name. Get amazing spices, nice balanced sweetness and aromatic notes, it's like Lafayette St on steroids with amped up longetivity and notes. Great scent overall, lasts eternally and is one of the most complimented colognes in my collection along with CDNIM Extrait. Was fond of King Edp before, then Parfum and now addicted to Onyx! Highly versatile but mostly a nighttime/cooler weather scent! Don't think, just get it and thank me later!

Glad to see they finally got this added on Fragrantica! This is Lafayette Street but with much more projection and longer lasting. Everyone praises Wildcard because it is the more well-known brand but this is so much more smooth and accurate. Highly recommend if you like the OG but want to save some money AND get better performance. Mine was a little harsh out of the box but I went back to it a couple weeks later and it was perfect. 9.5/10 for me.

This is one of the better Lafayette Street. clones. It genuinely is great with awesome sillage and longevity. I feel its allot more smooth than GOS Wildcard and gets allot better after a month of sitting but it's also fire right out the gate! Easy blind buy safe and worth picking up.

Ive never smelled bond 9 lafayette, but regardless this stuff is amazing. A nice blend of bergamot, apple, and ambroxan tend to dominate for my nose. Tarty yet subtle sweetness with great push. Ive become a huge bharara fan and this is probably now my favorite.

This is the holy grail!! what else can I say?

Amazing scent. I’ve never tried the OG, but this is absolute worth buying on its own. Absurd performance and real compliment getter.
