Neroli Pomodoro

Opens with a blast of fresh, almost juicy neroli. The basil and tomato leaf emerge on the drydown but don't linger. It feels odd to call this balanced when it's so dominated by neroli, but the musk and amber are playing valuable backup, and there's some tartness from the citrus that gives the overall impression of pressing your thumb to a perfectly ripe orange and expressing the oils. For a perfume that is dominated by a technically floral note (neroli being an orange flower), this is the least floral perfume of that type, and I'm here for it. Lovely stuff. update: Ran through the sample like a demon and had to gift myself a full bottle. It's delicious and I keep reaching for it even as the weather cools. If these notes appeal to you, you really have to try it.

After getting their sample discovery set this one stood out for me so I picked up a full bottle. It's what I wear most days just out and about right now, vegetal and tomato upfront but not in an over the top or obnoxious way that mellows out into a nice clean inoffensive citrus/floral daily driver appropriate for pretty much any setting that involves sunshine. Also still has a little bit of musky funk underneath to keep things warm and interesting. The bottle design, function, and packaging (like a brash colorful cigarette box) are all top notch as well. Highly recommend for pretty much just about anyone.

Definitely hits the mark with the basil and tomato leaf. Makes me want to cook up some food for some reason. But it is very clean and almost like you left a spa. Some might say there is a bit too much SPF sunscreen vibes, but it sits on my skin just fine and the SPF vibe goes away after a bit. At first I was opposed to it but now I really like it. Definitely a great one for post work out and then heading to the beach or pool vibe.

A traditional cologne dragged through the garden. Fresh, vegetal, and herbal without steering too far into savory notes. Performance is very strong, it can easily become overpowering for me if I put on more than two light sprays. I haven't tried Remix, Cherry Leather, or Acqua Gardenia, but Neroli Pomodoro and Caffe Amaro are winners. The branding is intentionally tacky and informal, but the scents are not.

Reminds me very much of 4711, very fresh burst of citrus, basil, neroli, and petitgrain. The drydown seems to have a slight warmth to it, probably from the musk. This is stronger than 4711 and lasts longer!

I smell neroli and not much else. I'm not a huge fan of neroli to begin with. A little citrus. Weirdly, I'm just not getting the pomodoro part of this fragrance. Neroli overtakes everything. Long lasting.
