Wanda

Somehow in the opening this gives me a strong impression of maraschino chocolate truffles! If I try to decompose it in my mind, its without a doubt the grapes, roses and leather combo. Unusual, sexy but not cheap in any way. But after about an hour it disappears and I am left with a sour note of red grapes. If the drydown lasted, it would be fabulous.

This a a heavy scent, and an odd one. If overapplied it can be sinus- and tear-inducing - It's uniqueness made me choose it as a signature fall/winter/ play party scent for a long time. It certainly does make me feel as though I'm peeking into some sort of Victorian parlor full of bare limbs, leather, and wine through velvet curtains.

A really interesting scent; the mix of leather, crushed rose, and wine gives it a fruity, almost sour cherry note balanced by the musk. Long lasting but subtle, this is one fragrance I really like to layer with other fruity or leathery perfumes.

i really like wanda, dark, sexy and different. pretty much totally rose and leather with the wine backing it up and balancing it out. it is an odd scent, and it is not one that i wear much but i still really like it a lot.

LAB'S DESCRIPTION "Along with Loviatar, she has become something of a 21st century Patron Goddess of all Dominatrixes. While Loviatar is the Goddess of Pain, Wanda govens Control. She is the breathtakingly beautiful sable-wrapped marble queen of Sacher-Masoch’s fantasies. Her scent is a deep red merlot with a faint hint of leather, sexual musk and body heat over crushed roses, violets and myrtle". Wet...WINE! Red Wine. Smells spicy too... and reminds me of the lab's "Blood Pearl". I'ts like a winey grape with some spice. The leather comes forward once the initital burst of grape/wine fades, and now my wrist smells like a leather jacket, with a bit of fruit in the pocket. Then the leather dies down and it becomes much more sweet, the flowers are making this turn much prettier, there is still a tiny element of the fruit and the barest hint of leather. But it's now more like pink petals that are the main note. Not really too much a fan of this, it's a bit strange.
