Corona

Corona is a fragrance that I really like and that has become one of my favorites right away. It is characterized by a delicately leathery opening, surrounded by a vaporous sparkling cloud, and a very pleasant and classy violet prevails in the heart. A regal composition, which may appear delicate on the surface but possesses a highly distinctive character. Strong and determined just like one of my favorite historical characters: Caterina Sforza, of whom I would like to tell an episode that on the one hand portrays her as delicate and feminine, on the other hand underlines all her pride and pride. Caterina seemed to have only one weakness: feelings. Having fallen in love with Giacomo Feo, a young man of humble conditions who had been in her husband's service, she married him secretly so as not to lose the guardianship of her children from her first marriage and the regency; she also had a child with him, Bernardino, later known as Carlo. In fact, Caterina increasingly included her young lover in the management of the state, to the detriment of her son Ottaviano, and entrusted the defense of the county's fortresses to the man's closest relatives. But Ottaviano's supporters did not give up and in 1495 Giacomo Feo fell victim to a conspiracy of nobles. Catherine's reaction was ruthless, she ordered the massacre of all the people linked to the conspirators. High persistence and sillage. More evening for me.

I was excited by the notes but once received something about it just doesn’t go well for me. It has artificial fruity leather thing going on that just radiates. The scent is so overwhelming that it made me feel sweaty. Not for me.

Review and comparison to Black Saffron Byredo. Review. Fresh and deep. Unisex slightly inclined to masculine. Lots of raspberry and leather, saffron also prominent, juniper berries - not so much. No sweetness to my nose, no fizziness and zest too. Just smooth fruitiness + saffron, and a lot of deepness with leather and something "shampoo-like" closer to the skin and almost tobacco after full development. Long lasting, silage is there but not enormous. Comparison to Black Saffron Byredo. Byredo is lighter, more zesty and less deep. Juniper in Byredo is more prominent, and the leather is less. Byredo is true unisex. Lasting power of Black Saffron is much, much shorter, the trail is similar. Overall I'd say they are the two versions of the same fragrance, Black Saffron would be inoffensive and universal, when Corona would be more seductive and adult. For me personally Black Saffron is easier to wear, but i'm a girl. If you're a guy 35+ I feel Corona is better (not the virus...haha... i couldn't not do it... hope you understand)

For some reason this is giving me Rosefire by Hermetica, but much greener. Imagine you just came back from the opera and put down your suede jacket to sit down and eat raspberry jam in a greenhouse which grows just tomatoes. Excellent, surprising but very wearable smell IMO. Try smelling it, if you can!

I imagine myself rocking this fragrance to the office and about 2 hours later this convo takes place: Co-worker: That's a lovely fragrance you have on! I love the leather note I'm getting! What fragrance are you wearing? Me: Corona! Co-worker: Excuse me? Me: *bursts out laughing

Besides the CORONA jokes, does anyone have an actual review of this fragrance?
