Oud Sapphire

I've been contemplating this fragrance for nearly a year in the stores and did not dare to buy it up till now as it is veeery intensive and feminine perfume. It resembles me rosewater marshmallow or rosewater lokum. I feel roses, I feel vanilla and I sense oud as this is what usually attracts me in the perfume and grounds it to my skin, even in "barely there" amounts. What's interesting, during wintertime my dilemma to buy or not to buy was due to the fact that it seemed a bit mawkish, now - as the time gets warmer the perfume opens up more richly, more beautifully and gives the whole spectrum of it's composition. Thus I wouldn't call it winter fragrance. More for spring, for summer - we will see later. But this is by all means one of the fragrances that defines me. Quite resembles Elie Saab's Girl of Now forever, as this is also marshmellow-like fragrance, but this is more about fruits and youth lightness, instead of Oud Sapphire which is all about the roses and a bit grounded with oudwood.

Very similar to MFK Oud Satin Mood, but not a redundant perfume. I feel like if you think that Oud Satin Mood is too masculine for you, you might like this better. This is also one of the very few perfumes in which I can tolerate and actually like vanilla. I respect Blend Oud for what they have done, if only for making excellent perfumery a little bit more affordable, because, let's be real, MFK is extortionately and kind of offensively overpriced (and they recently had another price raise, oh lord..).

Glad I bought this and not Oud Satin Mood Extrait de parfum by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. They are very similar but Oud Saphire is definitely a bit more smooth. I love it and would recommend it any day. Longevity 9/10 Sillage 9/10 Quality/fragrance 10/10 Price/value 8/10 If the bottle was 90 or 100ml the price/value would rise to 10/10

Yes, this perfume is very similar to MFK Oud satin mood but without that disturbing, scrathing something (maybe there is a more animalic, masculine oud) but Oud sapphire is rather feminin and it has a very beautifule, non screching powdery feelings- a heavenly scent for all day!

I bought a decant of this based on it being close to MFK oud satin mood. As other reviewers have said its very smooth, but for me its too smooth. It felt like a layer of skin and was very linear throughout the wear, but again so well rounded. It projected crazy for the first 1-2 hours and then settled, this was from a decant so I know this will be great from a full bottle sprayer, lasted about 6-8 hours which for me is great. My wife smelled it outside from across our patio table 5 feet away so I gave her a smell up close. She said it smelled really nice but it was something that would suit a women better than a man. I totally agree because 30 minutes into the wear I felt it was MFK OSM but leaned more female. My take is that MFK OSM has some edges and some back bone that makes it what it is. Oud Sapphire pops off the skin with almost a soft powdery vibe and smelled the complete same the whole way through. MFK OSM doesn't go through a lot of changes but it has some depth and different notes shine more than others along the way. I tried this because its MFK OSM for about half the price. My take is, if you are a women I think this would be a great option and it would perform like a beast. If you are a guy I would give it a couple of wears and see what you think. Im going to give it a few more wears and if it changes I'll update.

Synthetic smelling Oud Satin Mood. Great performance and good value for money. Good for cooler weather. Shukran Habibi!

Rose, it smells very rosey. It kind of reminded me of a certain wet tissue brand that was rose-scented. I did not get a bottle, just tested it out. So, I don't know the long run, maybe the smell grows on people but I did not like it much.

The opening has a resemblance with MFK -OSM with a strong vanilla accord. Oud is silent and did not speak to me. First 30 minutes and a linear drydown begins with a tendency towards FM- POAL but with the domination of Violet. Performance - excellent. Sillage - noticeable in crowed Season - winter friendly

I was so excited to try this. This smells like whizz fizz sherbet. It’s actually so cheap and synthetic smelling. I’ve got a whole 8ml decant of this and don’t know what I’ll do with it.
