Grounded

This fragrance doesn’t overpower; it lingers. Every time I wear it, I receive compliments about how amazing I smell. What I appreciate most is how seamlessly it blends with my skin – it creates a true “your scent, but better” experience. Grounded feels like it was designed for those who don’t just wear a scent but allow it to become a part of their identity. It has an earthy, creamy, and musky quality that is subtle yet unforgettable. The packaging is just as appealing: elegant, understated, and undeniably stylish. Plus, the compact roll-on size makes it so convenient – I’ve been carrying it with me everywhere.

Starts off with grapefruit and wet earth. The ginger lingers in a distance - showing up lightly from time to time. Then the grapefruit fades and the wet earth / earl grey tea steps in to the frame. They match beautifully. Very realistic, wet earthy soil plus Tonka bean. I think it's more rain on soil rather than rain on concrete. Very strong composition - I made a blind buy and am very happy with it. But I reckon it's not for everyone.

It smells extremely unique, elegant and makes for a great signature scent. On my skin the drydown is quite smoky and masculine while still keeping that rainy sweet aroma. Masterfully crafted scent profile. Thought, be aware when buying this, its very polarising and even though i absolutely love it, my mother gave it a 2/10.

My new favorite scent and my first full size niche perfume. I am in love with this scent, on me it smells like summer rain on hot concrete. Specifically it transports me to this beautiful memory at a wine bar in Brooklyn in the summer. I can’t get enough of it.

i can close my eyes and imagine the rain on the concrete with this. although not a strong earl grey scent, it is there with some sort of green. really like it

Smells like a butterfly house.

Reviewed from the 6ml XdP oil roll on, which I think may have dulled the edge of this a bit. Would have preferred the option for EdP samples, particularly considering the price for the EdP. A lingering wet juicy grapefruit tonka bomb, with an odd sharp edge. Despite it's bright look and talk of daytime drinks of earl grey this feels much more like an evening scent. It does conjure up a palette of warm orange/yellow painted cafe tones with the wet bright/grey of rainy city concrete outside rather well but I don't get much tea from it, or distinct rain. As with the Neon Violette this is all rather blurred together as if viewed through wavy privacy glass and I can't help but wonder if the XdP roll-on is making that worse. It is nice to wear, it is interesting - it's not sold me on buying an EdP at listed price though as it's a little hard to manage in this format. Would love EdP samples of this and Neon Violette as I think I'd be able to say something more enthusiastic - they're definitely interesting scents but I'm not sure this format lets them sing. Edit/update - after being sent a sample and finding out the EdP concentration of NV was much better I had to try here - so I decanted my remaining roll-on into a spray and diluted 60:40 with perfumer's alcohol. MUCH better. Clearer and projects smoothly, tantalising wet-citrus-tea-grey at a distance. The roll-ons of these were a mistake. They're 36% the edps are 25% - as they're so thick I'm finding them much more wearable at 20%ish. BN could be saving money. Renders it a daytime scent too - now more fresh/bright than rich.

A piercing, herbal grapefruit - almost in line with a clove type scent. When it calms down, the sharpness falls off a bit and leaves an herbal/ozonic smell. It’s definitely unique - and probably unisex. It kind of strikes me as a love or or hate it type scent. I haven’t come around to it just yet, but I can see the intrigue. Will circle back.

Wet concrete but no tea or much else tbh. It has an artificial musk type aspect that I can't place.

this perfume is like nothing I've ever smelt before, quite simply, its stunning. the rain note in this is one of the most photorealistic rain notes I've ever smelt, literally smells like stepping outside after rain storm and just breathing in the smell of petrichor. The ginger lasts throughout the whole experience and mixes with the rain note so so well. The earl grey tea is again one of the most photorealistic tea notes I have ever smelt, everything about this perfume is just pure and raw and beautiful. it's an experience from beginning to end. the fragrance itself lasts for hours, I could still smell it the day after it's first use and it really projects well, a little goes a long way. honestly cannot recommend this fragrance and brand enough and I will definitely be trying more of their stuff in the future

I have the 6ml oil extract. Yes, this is a very interesting “your skin but better” kind of perfume. It isn’t weak though, this stuff projects and it lasts forever but the composition is seamless and it doesn’t shout and scream any specific notes. It’s rain on clean concrete while holding a cup of steaming earl grey to your nose. It’s also very mineral and woody and watery. It’s a difficult scent to describe but it’s gorgeous. It doesn’t smell like a perfume. It smells like a scent you may have brought in from outside that has mixed with your own skin musk and maybe the lingering of a perfume somewhere... or scented hair product. I cannot describe it. It’s like the colour grey but sparkling somehow.

Grounded is a soothing experience. The creamy notes of earl grey swirl around with the ephemeral ginger and grapefruit. As it cools down, we meet the rain on concrete accord that makes way for perfectly placed cedarwood and tonka bean notes. This is an impeccably formulated perfume. As you may know, I tend to be of the opinion that there is no such thing as a unisex fragrance. However, I may make an exception for this formula...
