Sanrovia

Sanrovia reminds me of Hiram Green's Lustre but again this perfume finishes where Hiram started. Lustre is to linear and dull; it has good bones, but flesh needed to be added to those bones to give more structure to the perfume. Sanrovia is a much better constructed unisex citrus, fresh rose perfume that has more depth and character. A fresh citrus burst in the beginning of the fragrance and a nice geranium and fresh rose in the heart. Rich resins applied w/ a careful hand and a surprising twist of lavender give interest to a vetiver and sandalwood dry down. This is a true unisex perfume that a husband and wife can share. Again, I can't say enough good things about Blocki. I was super impressed w/ all of their offerings. And I love the history and the story of the brand. I hope they have continued success.

Literally one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever smelled. It’s juicy, rounded, warm but fresh. Seriously unmatched.

A pleasant opening of aromatic citrus but the magic really happens in the dry down. Here it becomes a London Fog sipped in the comfort of a reading room; creamy woods and Earl Grey I have not smelled a bad Blocki fragrance and they all have gorgeous dry-downs.

I have never been more grateful for sampling before buying! I don't know what others are picking up, but Sanrovia brings back a revolting memory for me. I adore green, aromatic scents, but honestly, this one smells like roadside greens marinating in sewage for far too long.

This comes off as spices and overripe citrus, a box of wilting greens... something strangely sweet and sour in this that was very overwhelming to my nose. Not for me :(

Started off grassy, woody, powdery, citric, hay, spices, & incense. After 30 mins dried down to a fruity herbaceous milky woody aftershave. Lactonic lotion, smoky incense, & earl grey tea. I didn’t mind the dry down phase but the opening & early heart of the fragrance was a bit too busy for me. Try before you buy. Edit: I kept wearing this and I really enjoy it now. I think I judged it prematurely - it’s a strong like now.
