Carbon Sapphire Supercharged

Thankfully no barnyard. The longer this sits on my skin, the more I like it. It's not an overtly rose oud, which is a nice change from their regular oud stuff. It is very, very subtly sweet and extremely woody with some leather accord. Honestly this is what I always hoped an oud fragrance would smell like, but I've been unlucky with fecal barnyard trash ouds. The more this dries down, the better it gets. The less wood shavings/trees which just seems cheap to me. Very wearable fall/nighttime. There's something tart in the drydown, slightly sweet, tart, funk. Super smooth for sure. Musky

I absolutely love this scent. With that out the window, I am going to say it isn't worth the price for me. This scent is about as regal as I imagine royalty smelling. What I get is a mix of Dasman and Oud Sapphire. There's the sweet and fruitiness of Dasman and that woody ouddy and leather that Oud Sapphire brings to the table. I own Dasman, but OS isn't really something that I could justify paying for. Mix the two of those, and that's in the ballpark of what CSS gives me.

I can understand why some of the reviewers below don’t care for it. It’s challenging but I love it because it smells completely different from other Oud fragrances I own. It’s luxurious and smooth. There is a particular brightness that I enjoy. It has rose but, it’s not a typical rose Oud. The price is outrageous but, I had refund sooo 😂

Carbon Sapphire Supercharger is a challenging fragrance, not for the uninitiated. An animalic oud, pronounced leather, and a barrel of roses intertwine to create an intense, almost burning opening during the first thirty minutes. This initial sharpness gradually softens as the fragrance dries down, revealing patchouli, amber, and more subdued woody notes—precisely as the oud and rose begin to settle into balance. It is a demanding composition, not recommended for blind purchase. Striking, addictive, and highly seductive, it is best appreciated by noses already attuned to the nuances of high perfumery. A distinctive scent that, in my view, finds its ideal expression in the cooler seasons—particularly autumn and winter.

First of all, Carbon Sapphire Supercharged kind of shares some similarities with Oud Silk Mood & Oud Satin Mood to my nose after few minutes in. Its like "Oud Satin Mood" with a touch of animalic notes. So, to me - Carbon Sapphire Supercharged is giving Oud Silk Mood & Oud Satin Mood vibe. Secondly, The Oud is less pronounced as it's more like a lighter version of the OG, and it has this powdery-lemony rose which is quite prominent before it settles on faint leathery-woody notes and synthetic powdery-musk that smells like medicine. The drydown is more medicinal to my nose, it smells like one of those local pharmacy store to my nose as its extremely medicinal. Overall: 5/10 😏

I tried it today and a few hours later I'm still in such a shock that I'm writing this review. I have to say I generally dislike the note of oud. I can stand it sometimes but a lot of times it's meh or ew for me. But this perfume is one of the most disgusting things I've ever smelled. And I tried some orto parisi, nassomato, eld'o or sorchinelli stuff. I really feel like nothing is as bad as this one. It's absolutely disgusting. It's heavy, it's thick, it's cloying, it's like burning fat and burning tires sprayed with granny's old rose water. I wouldn't wear it even if someone paid me for it, so I can't even imagine how one can spend that much money on it. I really don't think I hated the smell in my life as much as I hate this one.

Carbón Sapphire Supercharged emerges as a dark aristocratic manifesto — a fragrance that does not ask for permission; it invades. From the very first spray, the perfume opens with a raw, bitter oud, almost feral, evoking rare woods torn from the depths of Laos and forgotten corners of the world. A resinous, mineral smoke rises from it, reminiscent of incandescent coal covered in black amber. The second stage is pure liquid decadence: shards of oud soaked in aged whisky and noble cognac. The alcohol here is not merely gourmand; it pulses warm, boozy, and dense, like an expensive glass spilled over wood slowly burning through an endless dawn. The fragrance takes on the texture of dark velvet. Then come the three red roses — not delicate, but drunk, sensual, and dangerous. Roses drowned in cognac, blooming in the redness of darkness. Here, the rose brings no innocence; it brings obsession. It feels like a poem written at 4 a.m. inside an old hotel illuminated only by amber lamps. Black and brown leather stitch the entire composition together with animalic elegance. Polished, luxurious, and dominant, the leather binds the oud, supports the roses, and revives the alcoholic warmth of the cognac. At this stage, the amber begins to speak louder: warm, golden, and addictive, creating an almost eternal aura on the skin. In the final drydown, the fragrance becomes cinema. Horses gallop endlessly beneath a dark blue night sky, carrying trails of rose, jasmine, and cognac through the eternal garden of the most dazzling night of one’s life. The jasmine appears like a white mist illuminating the darkness beneath, bringing contrast and narcotic sophistication. This is a fragrance for those who want to leave a presence — not merely a scent. Mysterious, boozy, animalic, and deeply poetic. A composition that blends decadent luxury, dark romance, and absolute power. Olfactive profile: dark oud, aged cognac, ambered whisky, intoxicating red roses, polished leather, warm amber, and ethereal jasmine. Feeling: endless night, dangerous elegance, aristocratic passion, and golden smoke. Imagined performance: monstrous — hypnotic projection and a cinematic trail. Is it worth the price? For me, absolutely. I have samples available if needed. Rating: 10/10

The funny thing about this very very expensive perfume is that it smells similar to Imperial, which costs a quarter of the price, from the same brand. Go figure
