Dragon

I received a tester from a very dear friend and I have to say that I am blown away by Dragon's notes. I can't help but be relieved that Boadicea decided not to create another Rose and Oud Combination. I will say the price tag is huge! I am a huge Vanilla fan! If it has vanilla I own it. Dragon unravels ever so slowly (evolving) into something truly beautiful! I have fallen in love with the beginning which I will say has to have Pearl, Cinnamon and Saffron. As this sits and lingers dancing on you're skin you begin to take notice in the Incense, Magnolia and Amber. It transforms over a few hours and will eventually reach it's final stage of Cashmere Musk and Vanilla! I will admit I have not noticed a 12 hour + wearing out of this however I do have a respiratory infection and bronchitis at the moment however 'm moving past it. I will update you when I am able to smell more I have a lot of reviews to tell you about. At this time I am saving for a bottle of Dragon however this is no easy feat. There are times that Dragon leans feminine and then I get moments of masculinity. I want you to decide for yourself if you love it or dislike it. If this helps my favorite BTV's are Moccus, Tiangou, Michelin Star, Faith (I can't pull that off), Fire Sapphire, Amber Sapphire, Dragon, and Ardent. These are in no particular order.

Just as golden and majestic as its bottle suggests. The scent opens with a syrupy Turkish rose that is sweetened by golden saffron. Behind it, hints of peach and raspberry flit in and out, while magnolia adds a sharp floral edge that keeps things bright and expressive. As it begins to settle, incense drifts in, giving the composition smokiness and depth. The amber steps forward, warm and grounding, and then the soft vanilla begins to bloom. By the dry down, rose, amber, and vanilla glide into perfect harmony. The florals mellow beautifully, and a gentle musk adds quiet sensuality. An amazing scent if you want to make a statement. It’s definitely feminine leading, but it still works great on me. It feels playful and charming, and establishes confidence by its uniqueness. Is it worth the price? Definitely not, but the craftsmanship is undeniable. If you’re going to be reckless with your money, this is a great way to do it.

Just got it in, this is a winner, absolutely love it. It's ambery incense. Not really a profile I've come across so far. First impressions are it's high quality and unique, but approachable and going to garnish compliments. Mark you no zero things, and you're doing too much. Until you smell something keep your mouth shut. The bottle is really nice as well. Well report on dry down when i have a full wear. Update: if you only like true bore masculine scents this is not for you. It's imo one hundred percent unisex, maybe a tiny bit fem leaning, especially on the dry down. However, I love this kind of scent for that reason. I'm one to cross the spectrum and do not believe fragrances have a sex. This just smells good. It smells expensive and it's easily likable. Light and ethereal, that’s what this scent feels like to me. Not that it doesn’t project, on the contrary, it’s quite a projector. The feeling I get from this brings to mind BCR540 even though they smell differently except for being lightly sweet. My name for this would have been Nymph because that’s what came to mind smelling this. Dragon would need to be strong and bold and violent in my opinion. Unless of course this is a water dragon, but the bottle design featured a true dragon. Still this is a very likable scent, albeit a very expensive one.

This is a fantastic fragrance! I didn't really like the opening, there's one dry and powdery note that makes my throat itch. Frankly, I was expecting something spicier, with more kick, considering the cinnamon... but I didn't get any cinnamon (I love cinnamon, damn!). However, when it begins to dry down, the vanilla with the incense and amber appears and it's wonderful. Projection and performance were good on my skin, but far from beast mode – but I'm an under sprayer, so take that into account :)

I was completely baited by the name, and I don’t regret it at all. This was my first experience with Boadicea the Victorious, and I’m really happy with my choice. Dragon makes me feel confident—almost like I am the dragon itself I initially thought it might be too sweet for me and give me a headache, but thankfully it didn’t. Instead, it keeps me warm during these cold days. Still, I don’t think it would be very wearable in hot weather.

I seriously wonder about the idiots on this website. Dragon and Hasu are in my opinion the best fragrances currently from this house. There are many I’ve never smelled, but out of the 37 I’m currently familiar with...those two are by far the best. I think they’re completely worth the price tag, but I also think a lot of Boadicea are over priced. I can at least tell you both very obviously stand out above the rest. 🐉🐇

I wore this perfume today and I was instantly charmed. It smells slightly sweet, feminine, natural and well-blended. Someone complimented me on the first day I wore it. It lasts on my skin all day without getting heavy. It feels rich yet airy at the same time. The bottle and presentation look expensive and the scent feels high quality. It is pricey, but to me it is worth it for the way it makes me feel.

Dragon is beautiful. I too get a pear note. It's unisex but probably leans a bit more femme. However my husband can pull this off easily. Yes, it's expensive. I don't understand why it has such poor reviews.

Great fragrance expected to be a lot more unisex but its a great year-round tobacco in the background perfect scent. Long lasting great experience

Dragon by Boadicea the Victorious exhibits a striking resemblance to Rebellious, another perfume from the same brand. While both fragrances share similar characteristics, the significant difference in their price points raises questions about the value proposition of Dragon. Rebellious is priced at £270, while Dragon carries a considerably higher price tag of £900. Given the close similarity between the two scents, the substantial price disparity is not justifiable. I have Rebellious and hold it in high regard, rating it 8/10. Based on my evaluation, I would also assign a rating of 8/10 to Dragon. While it is undoubtedly a pleasant fragrance, the significant price difference between the two perfumes may not be commensurate with the level of distinction in their scents.

Sleek, seductive and very overpriced (you are paying for that gorgeous bottle) woody floral musk from this luxury house. The scent opens with notes of cinnamon, saffron and incense leading to a heart of amber and magnolia. The perfume dries off to reveal a base of vanilla and synthetic musks. The unisex sex has moderate projection and excellent longevity. The scent makes for a refined luxurious wear but again it would have been a fraction of the price had it not come in the gold plated pewter bottle with a striking design. Enjoy!

A really beautiful fragrance. The name is fitting. It's opulent, it performs well (although not beast mode, in spite of the name 😄 ). A wonderful bottle. The thing is... the scent is very similar to Angels' Share Paradis, which is cheaper, while still being niche and pricey. Not completely the same, but very close. And ASP has some good dupes out there (Perfume Parlour), so if you want a luxurious cinnamon and raspberry scent, but don't want to pay 1000 euros...

@ZekaChi is a moron, this smells absolutely NOTHING like angels share paradis. Thats like comparing terre d’ hermes to shalimar. However, his braindead take shouldn’t have surprised me after i saw he was promoting cheap, crappy clones.

Smells nice. Luxurious, warm, sweet, “airy”....performance is monstrous. However, its completely feminine. Wearing experience is similar to BR540 with the sweet “cotton candy” smell. Overdose of saffron, florals and musks.

Only like the incense note and I can fell all the quality igredients. But for me is too sweet. Rather Majalis from Spirit of Dubai than this.

Theres a fragrance reviewed by @fragranceviking called Soul of Sol by Kekayat Attar and its a dupe of Dragon, £35 as opposed to £1000 !!! Thank me later.

Forget about the declared notes, the name & the price...Dragon outside & Young woman inside ( Beauty & The Beast ) This is a boozy, ambery floral creation...starts with smooth boozy mix of rum & cinnamon with oily balmy touch which is there through out the whole life of this fragrance, which i think coming from magnolia flowers...then it develops very slowly which gives you the feeling that it is a linear fragrance with same vibe from the start to the end....but after sometime there is smooth appearance of tobacco (tobacco leaves not the smokey ashy one ) mixed with floral ambery vibe with hints of vanilla...to make the picture more clear to you imagine Initio Side Effects with less tobacco & more oily floral vibe, also it reminds me of Mancera Roses vanille...just imagine that direction with more refined and smoother edges.... It has a moderate smooth projection and very good longevity...which was not expected with that price range...highly overpriced.... Despite the name Dragon should indicate strong masculine fragrance, But it is not the case here as it is very smooth floral creation that may be more on the feminine side & best for winter time as it may be a little cloying on hot Summer days ...🌹🌷🌹 الجميله و الوحش... هو افضل وصف لعطر دراجون من بوديسا... فى الخارج تنين و بداخله امرأه جميله... عطر زهرى عنبرى مغلف بلمحات من المشروبات الروحيه...بدايه ناعمه من نوته الروم والقرفه مغلفه بغطاء زهرى مع طابع زيتى بارد...تدرج العطر هادئ وبسيط يميل للجانب الخطى مع ظهور بسيط لنوته التبغ ( اوراق التبغ و ليس النوته المدخنه ) مع لمحات عنبريه مع الفانيليا و لكن الطابع الزهرى الزيتى هو المسيطر من البدايه للنهايه... يوجد تشابه بسيط مع Mancera Roses Vanille ...و Initio Side Effects ولكن نوته التبغ اقوى فى ISE .... اداء العطر متوسط وناعم فى الفوحان و لكنه ثابت لفتره طويله... مناسب لليالى البارده و مناسب للجنسين 🌹💐🌹 Instagram@ Egyptian_jasmine 📸
