Ice Twist

I have this for over a week now. A very unique and beautiful scent. The name of the scent is a perfect description. It has the initial icy, almost minty vibe , however it's super smooth and no rough edges. In fact, it's so smooth, you can't pinpoint anything particular so well blended. This impressed me the most, compared to any other parfumes where in general the notes quite straightforward to recognise. Not on this one. Fantastic perfumery, well done. The sillage is moderate , or better say not offensive What also impressive is how long it last, despite the the fruity notes. On skin at least 13-14 hours at least easy. I was lucky to get it on a sale, but I already decided to get another bottle. Its in my all time top 3 favourite scent.

This took a spot in my top 5 fragrances in a second. I'm not joking my heart skipped a beat when I smelled it. It's like a cold enveloping cloud that's saving you from the heat, add some fresh juicy berries to that. Delicious. I can't stop wanting to smell it, it does something to me, makes me very relaxed and brightens up my day. This perfume is angelic, it has a pure aura. Great performance, very long lasting. I wouldn't call it masculine at all, it's unisex. Does not smell like pink boa at all, the only similarity is that both have raspberry and give a cocktail vibe, that's about it. This one makes your mouth water. Very unique, never smelled anything alike, a masterpiece.

One of the best fresh scents out there, super unique. This one surprised me in a really good way, I wasn't expecting much but it blew me away! A refreshing icy fruity cocktail, this scent is so damn cold! Really fruity and fresh, it also has an aquatic feel. Longevity and projection is amazing on my skin, this stuff lasts around 14 hours which is phenomenal for a fresh scent. Amazing for hot weather and can be easily worn all year round because of it's strength. I do think it's masculine but a woman can definitely wear this. I recommend checking this one out.

This smells like a super high quality pink lemonade with mint then dries down into a fruity vanilla musk. For any men reading this: this starts unisex then becomes slightly feminine. You CAN pull this off, just....don’t think about it, I guess lol. Ladies this just works Because of the price, I’ll just say sample it first. However, this is a mass appealing fragrance. So if you do want to blind buy this I don’t think most of you would be upset.

Gorgeous. Absolutely unique, cerebral and delicate. I genuinely cannot pinpoint the notes, as nothing about this fragrance is linear. Definitely signature scent worthy. I blind bought this and Porthole by Loumari and this was a clear winner for me.

Ice Twist has been on my list to try for quite some time. I'd heard people wax lyrical about it and I was intrigued. Can a fragrance really have an icy feel to it? With summer finally arriving here in the UK this week and temperatures reaching almost 30°C, yesterday felt like a good day to finally sample it. And I wasn't going to give it an easy ride, because whereas I'd normally wear a fragrance of this type for a dressed-up evening out or a day in the office, yesterday I spent the day digging a ditch and felling trees, so I worked it hard, perhaps unfairly so. The first thing I noted on spraying this was that the liquid did feel physically colder than that of other fragrances, but I think this is purely psychological; an unconscious influence of the scent's name, no doubt. It opens with a moderately sweet fruity accord that combines strawberry leaf and red berries. It is fairly musky in this opening stage, and there is something in the background that reminds me of ice cream; not the smell of the flavour of the ice cream, but the smell of its coldness. Again, I don't know if this is psychological, but it is the sensation I get from it. What I don't find in the opening are any of the claimed notes of juniper berries, rum, citron, or cognac. As Ice Twist develops, the fruity accord deepens. That initial strawberry leaf note that was prominent starts to fade, and it is the richness of the red berry notes that begins to dominate. I can detect magnolia, but increasingly it is a raspberry note that comes forward. Given the list of notes claimed for this fragrance, I would have expected something more complex. Instead, what I experience is a fruity mix that goes from a light, refreshing start to a deeper, muskier ending. On my skin it didn't last long, but I suspect that was a consequence of working it hard outside in hot weather. It definitely deserves a further test in easier conditions. Would I buy a full bottle? I do like the scent, in a fruity cocktail-mix kind of way. However, I'm not sure it is interesting enough for me. It would probably work if I were relaxing at the beach, but I suspect it would need to be applied quite heavily in order to last more than 3–4 hours. Leafy green fruit shampoo with some air freshener florals added. Bought a 10ml from BTV directly, turned out to be pressurized, first time seeing that in a manufacturer’s sample. Great atomizer. Cylinder, NOT the mini bottle shaped versions. It’s unfortunate the juice it contained. Must overspray to get it to work. And then it lasts longer than you want it to. Not an outright scrubber, but I’m not a fan.

I blind bought a 10ml of this from BtV's website. I don't blind buy often, but this one just really appealed and they don't have a smaller sample of it available! I couldn't resist. I'm so glad I did though, it's flippin' gorgeous. Like others have said, it lives up to its "icy" name in the opening. Very fresh, cooling, almost mint-like with added fruitiness and almost a sherbet-like sweetness but it's nowhere near cloying or over sweet. I don't like vanilla in fragrances as it overpowers, but I can barely detect it here. It's so well balanced and really unique. I've not smelt anything like it anywhere else. This is only my second whiff of a BtV fragrance, my first being Blue Sapphire which I am absolutely in love with but will not pay the extortionate price! (I got a sample). I think I might need to take out a new mortgage now I've found this house...

I just received a 10ml format directly from BTV, and I can say I'm loving this. If someone is interested in trading this for other niche scents, please PM me. I will be back later for review. This is FB worthy for sure. I don’t know why this isn’t hyped, with all the garbage that’s pushed this is really good. It’s unisex right down the middle. Cooling almost mentholic opening, with airy red berries and some greeness underneath. It’s performing average but has a great sillage. Overall it’s worth the price tag at BTV but I’m still going to search for a discounted bottle. 8.5-9/10 for my taste. I have no problem rocking this as a grown man.

Quite a unique take on a freshie scent. Definitely gives off the Ice in "ice Twist". Imagine that same cooling cold accord from kilian vodka on the rocks, now apply a whole leap of strawberry and fruits and there you have boadicea ice Twist. Nice frag but not my cup of tea. Also drydown leans feminine. 100ml bottle for sale or swap. Uk only

Gourmet (not gourmand) raspberry sherbert paired with a niche boutique liquor that has an exaggerated importation tariff and a yearly production limit. If Dorsia existed, they’d have this cocktail on their menu and ordering it would show your stature within the upper echelon of elite douche bags.
