Autumn Roads

Personally I'm not an expert on fragrances, but I think this is a very nice fragrance mist. Not crazy long lasting, but I've heard that's normal. It does its job, I'd say the "pear" scent is more apple-like though. Still nice regardless, not overbearing. Just a pleasant, rich smell all around. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants like, a nostalgic autumnal feel for a good price (Personally it was 5 dollars, given it's lasted me well into June from November, that's good bang for my buck, though I don't go out much so you'll find different results obviously). Now, if you want a long-lasting, or strong scent, this won't be for you, but in general body mists aren't meant for that, they're supposed to be gentler.

The pear smells like apple, not too mad at that and then the vanilla comes in. So the scent notes are in the wrong order above. I wish it had more amber but I like this scent and wish it was not hard to get like winter vanilla. Longevity is a factor like with all bodycology body mists. Price point is awesome. The annoying discontinutations is also a real turn off. I would like to find my scents once I am done with the first/second bottle.

An inexpensive, but peasant fragrance that actually smells how the packaging looks. It's slightly vanillic, but not as sweet as this brand can veer, it isn't cloyingly rich. The "pear" actually smells more like a yellow apple to me; neither red and juicy (I'm not a big red apple fan), nor green and tart...it's somewhere in-between. Everything is balanced quite well, and I think this is worth checking out before you hit up Bath and Body Works for anything autumnal. It's refreshing to smell something that isn't overly sweet or pumpkin-y.

I had trouble picking up on distinct notes upon first whiff--the vanilla doesn't jump out at you, and I was actually kind of shocked to learn that it was supposed to smell like pear. Overall pretty inoffensive and uninteresting to me, but more power to you if that's what you're into.

I was excited to try Bodycology Autumn Roads and because I love vanilla and amber I had high hopes. I wanted a light, inexpensive fall fragrance for days I didn’t feel like wearing perfume. I was hoping it would develop into a cozy, comforting scent. I agree with another reviewer that instead of pear, it smells more like apple, but not in a fresh or appealing way. Honestly, I found it very boring and unappealing. It’s sweet, but artificial. The vanilla was soft but generic, and the amber with the pear (apple) just smelled like a mess. I really wanted to like it, but I cannot stand it and had to get rid of it. For me, it’s not a cozy fall fragrance at all. It smelled like a messy, artificial apple-and-vanilla mash that made me feel a bit ill. 1/10 Sillage 3/10 Longevity 3/10
