The Beekeeper

Dear god, where do I begin?? I wore this after smelling it in the sample set and deciding it was toned-down enough for my office job. I was blown away. Within 2 hours at work catching a whiff of it anytime I moved, I was sneakily ordering the full size on the work computer. This perfume screams fresh and sweet. Imagine walking through a freshly trimmed garden, lots of greens, some white flowers sprinkled amongst all the lush green, and there are nectarine, peach, and plum trees with dreamy moss throughout the garden. Take a nectarine off the tree. Bite right in. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Feel the sunshine. That's this perfume. Fresh, sweet, bright, fuzzy... there's no artificial sweetness, either. This is straight up fresh peach and nectarine with the most lovely green notes. Like the leaves are still on the fruit. EDIT: I have finally tried the original Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey. Very happy to say that this scent is IDENTICAL... but at less than 1/3rd of the price?? There is no reason to spend $168 on NBAH when this exists. I mean it. While it's not the most loud fragrance, it will hit your nose throughout the day, and it LASTS. I was smelling it all day, from 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM. Didn't even need a refresher spritz, which is ideal for me. Perfection for a lovely scent that won't bother coworkers. I'll be wearing this often.

my favorite of their sampler set. oakcha is just so goated i had to give them a baller review. BEWARE; Oakcha's fatal flaw is that their shit does NOT smell like it does after you macerate or whatever. fell in love with the initial fruity dab on. the nectarine and peach were so strong and realistic. this smelled EXPENSIVE and high quality. not a dupe of jo malone, but a good perfume on its own. I let it sit in my cabinet for a week or so and it blended a bit too well. now it actually smelled identical to the jo malone; soft, quiet, not strong in the slightest. this scent will linger, but not project-- which some might like. the green notes actually came through after that, making it smell a lot more powder-y. think the smell of floral nenuco wipes. makes me feel like a clean italian baby in summer when fruit trees bloom... but in a mature way. nothing beast mode, but if you appreciate artistic, unique smells rather than show-stoppers (and vetiver), this is a banger.

Extremely fresh, green, dewy, and juicy scent! Smells just like the smell that lingers in the air after cutting a fresh nectarine :) it has a very gentle and beautiful floral present like nectarine blossom. It’s the most amazing spring and summer perfume! On me, the longevity is great with the scent on skin lasting about 5 hours. It does not have a giant scent bubble, which I personally prefer, but it starts off as a scent that projects within an arms length of you, and then within the first two hours it becomes an intimate skin scent that you would smell by getting your nose close to where if was sprayed. On clothing, this scent lasts until I wash the clothing next! I still smell it on my clothes when I’m moving them from the laundry hamper to the washing machine. I’ve had this perfume for over a year now and the scent has not changed, it’s still as beautiful, juicy, dewy, and fresh as when I started using it.

I'm not a fan of Little Big Town's lesbian fakeout song "Girl Crush", but this perfume definitely brings to mind the line "I wanna drown myself in a bottle of her perfume." It's so green and fruity and perfect and exactly what *I* want in a perfume. It makes me feel like I just walked into the grocery store in the dead of summer. The blast of air conditioning carries the smell of a fresh nectarine display, meeting the hot air and fresh cut grass from outside. (Okay, it's not really AS green as fresh cut grass, but I had to finish the metaphor somewhere.) The only bad thing about this is that it's SO intimate. I can barely smell it on myself if I use my standard 3 spritzes. But for the price point I'm willing to bathe in it.

This is so fresh, delicately and naturalistic! The green notes are dewy and grassy, but not *earthy* grassy...it's extremely spring-like. If you're not attentive, you'll miss the subtle beauty before it fades. No honey is listed technically, but this is predominately honey *with* fruit, not fruit with honey. Stone fruit flavors embued in clover honey. It's gorgeous. Hopeful and optimistic, but in a quiet way. This fragrance makes me contemplative. A quiet May afternoon for the nose. 🍯 🌼 🌞 🍃
