Praise The Perfume

This is one of my all time favourite perfumes (havent owned the og crybaby). Although I have two bottles. My new one, smelsl quite bright and citrusy, and light. Smells a lot more like somehwat bitter forest fruit, than strabwerry, which makes me sad because my old bottle (dscription below) is quite different. But this is only for the opening. In the drydown (after ~15 min) they both smell the same. Regarldess I love both and on me they project and last for at least 8-10h The old mells like a fruity pink sugar with some powdered milk, but fruity powdered pink sugar is the best way I can describe it, super sugary and sweet, with a bright strawberry and muted sweet lemon, it's also quite powdery in the same way LDBS is. I wouldn't say it smells like a milkshake of any sort, but it's definitely very edible, like a poundcake. If Lira is a lemon poundcake, this is a more relaxed strabwerry poundcake - It's not as overpoweringly sweet as Italian Cello/Lira so it's much more wearable to me and everytime I put it on I feel so calm and relaxed I love this scent This honestly makes me kind of hungry my stomach growls, Pink Sugar makes me hungry and craving stuff, but this one is a step above and actually triggers a bodily response lol The first perfume bottle of this I ordered came a little messed up, some of the writing on it was rubbed off,the cap looks and feels like it doesn't fit this specific bottle I got, and the sprayer nozzle is broken such that you can't press it fully down and it get's stuck, if you press it enough to bypass the stuckness, perfume leaks out from the nozzle. I don't care because the nozzle is still pressable and dispenses an appropriate amount of juice, but I am assuming I got this bottle because it was a previous return and they didn't bother to check that it's a decent one.

Okay, here is my 'official' review🤓 Now that I have the original Crybaby perfume milk I can compare it to Praise the Perfume! I have one sprayed on each wrist write now as I am writing this. Let me begin this review by letting you know that I have had my bottle of Praise the Perfume for about a year now, and I have worn it many times. It never disappoints, lasts all day long and satisfies my powdery, sweet, milky perfume cravings. That being said, it is quite different than the crybaby perfume milk, which I received in the mail this week. Praise the Perfume has a slight hint of strawberry that is not overkill, which I actually love. The Crybaby perfume milk is HEAVY on the berries, so heavy that I would classify it as a fruity perfume rather than a powdery perfume. It is not a linear fragrance; the opening is straight berries and it dries down to a sweet, powdery, coconutty, milky fruit scent that does not work well with my skin chemistry. It lasts about four hours on my skin and all day on clothes, and I prefer the dry down much more on clothes than on skin. Praise the Perfume is powdery, lactonic and sweet in all of the best ways, and it is amazing on my skin, in my hair and on my clothes. It is more of a linear fragrance than the Crybaby perfume milk, and I enjoy it throughout the entire wear. I did not used to be a lover of powdery perfume, but Praise the Perfume has wiggled its way into my heart. OVERALL, I would say that these perfumes are 55% similar. I definitely prefer Praise the Perfume, but that is my personal preference. Everyone's skin chemistry is different, and mine happens to work better with Praise the Perfume than with the Crybaby perfume milk. If you enjoy a powdery, sweet, lactonic perfume, or that sounds appealing to you, I would definitely try out Praise the Perfume.

let me get a little autistic about this perfume. ive had it for about two years, I've let this marinate in my cabinet all this time and I want to break it down for people buying because of crybaby. my sister LOVES gourmands, I hate them. she hated this, I loved it. this perfume is one of my favorites of ALL time. is it crybaby? no. far from it, and im thankful for that. I remember on my first spray I thought this was too milky. too powdery, definitely soft and feminine. news flash, I am a dude, so I threw it in my cabinet for a year and forgot about it. the thing with oakcha perfumes is they NEVER smell the same after maceration. NEVER. double edged sword, I started liking their JM nectarine blossom & honey dupe LESS because of how crazy it smelled after just a few days. it went from lactonic, sweet, quiet candy scent to WOOD. this is not a sharp, cheap cologne sort of wood, but warm, maybe a little smoky, but not to a crazy extent where youre thinking MMM by the fireplace. beware; the sweetness went from soft milk to fruit loops if you spray it on your clothes. woody fruit loops. but im a child, and I like fruit loops. id say this is beast mode, honestly. my strongest perfume for sure. crazy long lasting, but i find oakcha in general has great longevity. the perfume is THICK and oily. beware. TLDR; unisex, sweet, smoky wood on my skin. this shit hasnt been "soft strawberry goo goo ga ga milk" in years. if youre not afraid to get a hella sexy sweet wood perfume, get this. if you wanna smell like a basic vanilla gourmand girly girl, go for Nebras by Lattafa. Weaker, but it's been sitting in my cabinet for 2 years and still smells like marshmallow milk. Just remember to stick your nose in your wrist if you want to remember it's there.

Ok, I'm going to start off by saying I do l Iike this fragrance - however, the prominent notes are completely different on me. While I do get a little bit of the lactonic notes, I mostly get powdery and woody/resinous notes. I do get the, "forest fruits" that sweeten this up, but I don't get "strawberry milk" vibes at all. As a matter of fact, I sprayed this on, and it instantly reminded me of my childhood church; I would get anointed with an oil that smells very much like this fragrance (literally takes me back 30 years!). It's a soft, pleasant fragrance. I layered this with the Baby Powder Fragrance by Demeter, and the Baby Powder was much sweeter. Now, I might have to let "Praise the Perfume," sit/macerate a little while, to get what everyone else detects? I just got it yesterday, so that's possible. Either way, as of right now, I am currently getting soft, powdery, sweet-woodsy, resinous fragrance. It's very nice, and super layerable. I like it. UPDATE: I've worn this off and on within the past month; it has gotten sweeter, and slightly more lactonic, but it's still a sweet, resinous fragrance for the most part. Reminds me of a lipstick/makeup. Still very pretty.

first off, got 2 say this is the best dupe of crybaby that i have came across considering i owned the original by melanie martinez, the cute baby bottle n' all. i tested between a strip i had of the og (i lost the bottle within a move, RIP) it smells almost the exact same, but i would say PTP is a little bit more powdery & crybaby has a more artificial almost sour strawberry scent... ick, never liked that part. but to those who are not familiar with either: oakcha's praise the perfume is a lovely scent of childlike wonder swirling a giant strawberry milkshake with a paper straw with tinges of baby powder in the air. wearing it it goes on sweet berries but simmers down into caramely woods. it fades away after about ⁓5h so keep it in ur bag 2 refresh up, it comes in a nice pink magnetic box telling u to do so anyways. much luv <3333
