Cucumber Melon

Recently bought the new version of this in the round bottle. Never smelled the old version. It smells identical to one of my favourite sweets; sugar-coated gummy watermelon slices. If you don't know what they smell like, it's purely artificial watermelon and nothing else. There's certainly no orange melon as pictured on Fragrantica's note structure, and no cucumber either. 100% watermelon gummy. Not offensively artificial and not overly sweet, just perfectly sweet whilst being refreshing and yummy. Perfect for summer and suitable for any season. Great for layering other fruity and aquatic fragrances with. It's not "mature" and not suitable for serious, formal occasions, such as business meetings or funerals. It'd be a good gift for a young girl who wants to smell fresh and sweet, but don't buy this for someone who is like 40 if they don't explicitly state they want to smell like watermelon candy. Longevity and sillage is surprisingly good considering this is a mist, not even an eu de toilette. I can smell it hours later when sprayed liberally on my skin, hair, and clothes. Comes in a huge bottle for a low price too which is awesome. In terms of my own preferences and opinions on marketing of this frag, I feel let down by the lack of cucumber. The name should be marketed as Watermelon, because that's what it is, and take the cucumbers off the packaging too. Buuutt it's great for what it is, especially if you want to smell like a delicious watermelon gummy :)

Perfect cucumber melon scent! I don't like the Bath & Body Works one as much because the musky note throws me off but this doesn't have that. It's closer to the Body Fantasies one from a million years ago in that it's just cucumber and melon. I'd drink it if it wouldn't poison me. ETA: I just remembered that I also had this around 2012 or so when it came in those cylindrical bottles that looked like the mid-2000's BBW ones with a picture of cucumber slices and a cantaloupe slice on it. It was definitely the same brand because I found a picture on Google but I swear it smelled different then. It could just be the packaging being so different or my memory playing tricks on me but I don't remember it smelling as bright or sweet back then. Does anyone know what I mean? Please tell me I'm not going crazy.

I bought a new bottle of this today and they definitely reformulated it. The old version smelled like syrupy-sweet watermelon and was slightly tart (think the rind of a watermelon), but the new version smells almost identical to Body Fantasies cucumber melon which leans more cantaloupe/honeydew-esque and feels fresher. I personally love the change since the Body Fantasies one is significantly harder to find, but be advised this is not the same scent it was a couple of years ago even though the packaging is the same.

This scent is like watermelon candy-- particularly, watermelon jolly ranchers come to mind. Slightly sweet, watery-fresh and delightfully fruity. The cucumber is very faint, but it is there, providing a crisp greenness underneath that grows more pronounced as it settles. As is pretty standard for Bodycology fragrances, this one lasts a decent while on the skin and lingers longer on clothes.

Smells very fruity and sweet and fresh and a tad bit sour but not in a bad way. It is kind of a juvenile throwback scent for me, I used to wear it in middle school. It lasts a very long time and is pretty cheap at walmart. I have heard that bodycology fragrances are better than bath and body works because they are more potent and they last longer despite being much cheaper.

This is quite the sugary melon, so be forewarned. It's not bad, and I actually don't find it off-putting, but it is decidedly sweeter than classic B&BW Cucumber Melon (though that one has been reformulated and is now sweeter also). This smells like watermelon and cantaloupe, whereas the B&BW stuff smells like cantaloupe with honeydew. It's quite linear and very melon forward, and it smells juicy. It's very refreshing on hot days, which is what this is best for...super hot days when you want to literally water your skin and have some scent along with it! There's a hint of cucumber, but this isn't green or planty in tone. It really is just quite watery and sweet. That really is all there is to say about it 🚿 🍈

It smells very fruity and fresh. For that price ($4 USD - $79 Mexican pesos) it smells pretty good, but the performance is lousy for me: it doesn't last more than 1 hour and the sillage is very weak. Compared to other options from this brand, this was disappointing.

Smells nice in the air, but absolutely horrid on me. CucumberMelon everything was my favorite in childhood, but I'm gonna have to give up on them. Anything from L'emperatrice to the Yardley soap just turns ... gross... on my skin. Like bitter, decaying rinds. All that said, reviews are mostly for my own benefit. The low price more than justifies giving Bodycology Cucumber Melon a try.

i hate this. smells like soap, not in a good way 🙁. like a soap that doesnt make u feel clean just smelly 🙁. not fresh or anything. just soapy.

i decided to blind buy this because it was only $5. my first impression was that it smelled like the generic cucumber scented hand sanitizer. probably because of the strong alcohol smell at first. this is pretty common with cheap body mists in my opinion but it goes away after drying down. initially i was a little worried about the hand sanitizer smell but it dissipates and i really enjoy the lasting scent. this is literally just plain melon and cucumber as the name suggests its pretty straight forward. light, fresh, and sweet smelling. also lasts a decent amount of time which is nice! I can still smell it on my clothes after spraying it last night. if you are a fan of the notes and scent profile, its cheap and i'd give it a try!

Can anyone speak on the new version in the round bottle? I'm assuming it's reformulated
