Freesia

please read this review, this is my signature and i have gone through 6 bottle this year since feburary! this is VERY simple and therefore layers well with most clean fruity/florals. it's shockingly strong for what it is (one spray lasts 2 hours on my skin), and safe crowd-pleasing fragrance. it's a very sharp tart sweet clean smell, like febreze or clean linen or shampoo. it smells like the color and design of the bottle, translucent light purple. this is definitely not something anyone (but me) would write home about, but its a simple BRIGHT clean smell, good for simple shampoo scent lovers or warm environments. when i wear this people don't compliment my PERFUME, they compliment the room spray i must have been using in the room, or my laundry detergent. i personally like that lol, but something to keep in mind!

A very soft, pretty floral fragrance that doesn't stick around for very long.

You gotta love the note "freesia", because it smells different from fragrance to fragrance. There's rarely any consistency, so to me, "freesia" usually means *fresh airy light floral*. This is no exception. It's fresh, clean, slightly soapy and very pretty. It almost smells like there's some citrus in here too. It all serves to make for a shampoo-y, easy-going sheer floral. I think it's a great cheapie!

Is this what the original B&BW Freesia was supposed to smell like? I tried it when they brought it back last year and thought i'd love it based on the notes but it just smelled like outside. I thought there was no way something that smelled like straight up grass clippings could've been so popular but if it was supposed to smell like this that would make more sense. It's a bit sweet and sharp for my taste but I understand why people might like it.
