102 tea, cardamom, mimosa

Very nicely blended composition of aromatic cardamom, citrus, green notes, and sweet mimosa, with just a hint of soapy violet- the contrasting juxtaposition of sharp and soft notes gives an overall effect that is pleasantly uplifting, not at all jarring- Unique and lovely~

First spray: WOW! I felt the same of what was written before on it being a "happy tea". After 15-20 mins I have to say: pleasant yet meh. I feel it's grandma flowers vibe. Maybe in colder weather (having >35°C right now)?

A very light bergamot tea fragrance - barely there and fleeting on me. Maybe for a hot sunny day.

I'm testing the Bon Perfumer discovery set of 23 fragrances blind. I haven't looked up anything about the brand or the fragrances. I'm working through the cute little bottles in their numbered order. 102 opens with only what I can describe as a more floral aroma of orange circus peanut sweets. As it dries down a more dry and floral element comes in, but the circus peanut is still present. There appears to be more of an amber or resin base, and overall the fragrance is mellow, and more mature than 101. Later, the fragrance is almost like muscat gummies, not too sweet. The sillage is not as low as others in this collection. Looking at the notes now, the resin of the cardamon mixed with the iris and powderiness project the most. Citrus is there, maybe lemon. It has just enough powder, and not a powder bomb.

Fresh bergamot and florals. Clean and nice scent. Projection and longevity weak. Women targeted fragrance.

Wearing this, thought it was an obnoxious combination.

This is gorgeous, my first thoughts were: super citrussy, green, and a little like freshly washed linen something very spring floral. Usually a peony gives this feel but looking at notes I now recognize the mimosa definitely. The tea / bergamot here is really reminding me of my summer favourite 003, but this is much more floral / springy. The jasmine is not for me, this note is usually too indolic / old school vibes. Not too strong here it's still a lovely, fresh, citrussy scent, however I will stick to my 003. ** subtle cardamom present and the citrus / tea / florals last really well here. If you want the truth, this is no good. I don’t agree with comparisons to Thé Yulong from Armani Privé. Scent 102 from Bon Parfumeur (what an endearing name - really just churning these out huh!) is sharp around the edges and taking all of the wrong turns. I know we are past the point of believing perfumes like this handpick the mimosa, pluck the petals of violet, steep the tea leaves, and juice the fruits, but I don’t want the illusion to be shattered this clumsily. This is a deeply synthetic rendering of it all. Hard to believe how some of the scents in this line are priced above $40 for such poor quality. I’ll see you at ROSS.

Extremely nostalgic for me as it was the first first perfume I ever owned. I bought it at Voo Store while I was touring in Berlin. I didn't trust my nose back then, immediately doubted whether or not this was my "scent." I didn't want to have buyer's remorse either so I would douse myself in this perfume every day just to feel like I got my money's worth. My whole summer was coded in tea and cardamom. Now I find myself craving this scent, in the same way I crave park strolls and gelato in the summer. The memories are enough for me to love it now.

It goes similar to Jo Malone cardamom and mimosa, however 102 is a bit more spicier. It is quite warm day today, though, so I assume therefore the spices are more prominent than the previous time I sampled it. Also, just to add this really performs exceptionally well in the heat. In fact, bergamot tea (earl grey tea) lovers, I think this frag is for you.

THIS and many other new “grasse” perfumeries are the beginning of the new era.. era of “lets make perfume and sell it” Nice creation and combination of notes but not real quality and deepness...very weak the same as fragonard and another 100 grasse perfumes The price should be 20 to 30€ not more...

Smells like a dupe for Armani Thè Yulong except Fragrantica has comparison to their Peony scent instead, makes no sense!

Smells like my Dad's Edge shave gel from the 1970s.
