Central Park South

Central Park South is the ONLY perfume I have that got me a compliment on the 10th hour of the dry down. I work for FedEx Express and I was delivering a package to the receptionist at her desk. She gasped when I told her I sprayed CPS on my skin 10 hours ago. This is a true longevity and projection beast that just keeps on giving. This just speaks volumes in the quality that they put in their perfumes. Reading the notes before actually buying it I feared the worst. CPS might just end up smelling like every designer perfume out there that has grapefruit and blackcurrant notes. But upon first spray....CPS hits you with one of the loudest and most colorful grapefruit top notes ive ever smelled. It QUICKLY separates itself from any other perfume with similiar notes. The jasmine mingling with the obvious grapefruit and blackcurrant notes just makes CPS dance on my skin. This is truly a refreshing high class spring scent. CPS dries down into a very masculine musky and woody base in its final glorious hours....in which I still managed to get noticed and get complimented on. This is another colorful and vibrant winner from the house of Bond. A MUST for spring!!!!

11/25/19 - There are so many reviewers who can dissect certain notes. The best I can do is share what I’m experiencing as a whole. This scent is beautiful! It’s so feminine. The bottle is such a good visualization to what I’m thinking of and feeling wearing this. It’s for women who love pinks and light purples, bows and frills, dresses and heels. I used “women” because I personally think it’s got a note that brings it up a notch from being a safe girl’s perfume. Maybe it’s the base woody notes? IMHO it’s just a tad too mature for, say, a girl’s first perfume. This isn’t a beachy, ocean-breeze type of a perfume. This would definitely be perfect for a wedding frag - it’s sophisticated and “upper-crust”, for lack of a better description. I’m being brought back to a Ralph Lauren perfume - maybe Safari? Or Lauren... but not exactly - just a fleeting wisp of a connection to them. I love this. How perfect it would be to find a body lotion and shower gel to layer it all 💕 Top notes: grapefruit blossom, black currant buds Mid: blooming jasmine and lily of the valley base: woody notes

No fruit in this for me just straight up thick white floral, the jasmine smells more like tuberose to me, it’s almost as though the top notes are missing completely and it goes straight onto the middle notes, I’m not sensing much wood on the dry down either, the best I can say about this one is the bottles nice. Sadly it’s a no from me. EDIT.. just tried this again 3 days later and wow it’s like a different perfume, I’m getting the lovely sweet notes and a sparkling jasmine, this has gone to a straight up love 💓 someone once told me that when you buy a perfume online and it’s gone through the delivery process always give it time to settle before using, well I’m beginning to think there just might be something in that. The grapefruit blossom and the blackberry really lifts this perfume into something bright and sparking.

This perfume is a joy, freshness and spring in a bottle! Really love it. I first fell in love with it from a sample and then had to buy a full bottle. It's not a ground breaking scent in the meaning of some new notes. But it's pretty addictive especially for the warm spring days when people start sweating and need this extra elegant freshness in the air that compliments the blooming nature. A pretty prominent note to my nose here is a delicate tuber rose which I guess is actually the jasmine and the Lilly of the valley combination. There is a beautiful green sweet opening coming from the black currant blossom which also brings a very fresh out of the shower character working together with the grapefruit blossom. The woodsy notes are very quiet undetectable to my nose.

Woah! I wasnt expecting a banana skin smell on the opening. It's that curious woody smell. Unmistakable. I would never have guessed blackcurrant and grapefruit blossom were present. I would have guessed ylang was present but it isn't! It also makes me think of the tropical shrub Michelia. I've smelt in bloom in one of the greenhouses in Saville Gardens UK. I can detect a bit of jasmine. I totally get why some smell tuberose but it's also very bananary (have I created a new word?!) It's definitely a scent of the hot and steamy tropics. It takes me back to hacking through jungle in Malaya. A night wear number only as pretty potent. It hangs around for hours even in these warm temps. Reasonable sillage as well.

A wonderful, long-lasting, fresh white floral! This is probably my favorite Bond~ (and I have sniffed them all!) To my nose this is a slightly spicy tuberose-like floral that dries down to a soft, lingering floral musk. It is difficult to find a fresh floral that actually lasts. (Yes, Fracas is a lasting tuberose but it does not have the "fresh" quality of C. Park South.) This is pretty and it does not scream "PERFUME". I have gotten comments like "You smell delicious!" and "Mmm!" while wearing this.... ~Oh, and the flowers on the bottle are pictures of "fuschia flowers" not roses, per the Bond No. 9 website.

I've tried it just once and it's in my wishlist ever since.it's a fresh,clean and lovely white floral scent with fruity undertone which makes it a delicious floral scent Before checking it's notes I didn't think of jasmine and lily of the valley.tuberose,gardenia,orange flower and even neroli were in my mind.it also reminded me my beloved central park west but it's less heavy and more fresh.I guess I can actually pick up something like grapefruit but not in a sharp,sour way,also a hint of musk All in all it's gorgeous,sensual,clean and creamy and delicate but with great duration and projection

I love this! It smells like you’ve gotten out of the shower, clean, but not soapy. It’s a beautiful, modern dewy white floral bouquet with a fruity background. Doesn’t smell outdated or mature as in the old screechy white florals from decades ago. I can see this being worn as a signature scent because it’s not loud, overbearing or offensive, a pretty safe crowd pleaser that can be worn year round, any occasion. It smells pretty identical to Michael Kors Very Hollywood more than the original Michael Kors signature which is my top 5 fav. Also very similar to Paris Hilton Tease. Trust me.

I have a love/ hate relationship with this perfume. I think it's because it stays linear on me and lasts forever..by the end of the day it's still going just as strong as when I first sprayed it in the morning, and by then I'm over it. It's kind of ridiculous to dislike a perfume for having awesome sillage and longevity, but here I am. It is a very pretty white floral though.

I have a tester and is wearing half a spray. Wow this is strong. I'm enveloped in a cloud of white flowers. I get mostly tuberose - must be the jasmine that feels like tuberose on my skin. It's very feminine - bright and loud but feels rounded, not screechy. I can't wait to wear it on a bright, crisp spring day. It will be perfect.

This smells magnolia to me! Nothing else. Idk why. It was the only one from the line that I liked. I only spray it on my hair after a shower and it lasts for days on end, however its very strong hence why I only spray it on my hair. Fresh, summery for night and day. A little goes a long way when sprayed on the skin

Like many good things in life, this perfume seems to require patience. When I first applied I thought it was fine, maybe even a little "meh". Fast forward a couple of hours and it has became delicately sweet & airy, with gentle floral notes. Happy, yet calm. I love it.

I just love this scent!! It smells delicious and tantalizing!! I spayed it a lot on me when I was sampling it in Bloomingdales and I can't wait to spray it on me in the summer and spring!! This is many of the scents I will pay to get over and over

I adored this scent first, however, I found this too "bitter" for me. The bitterness is like, something bitter in grapefruits and petit grain. If you do not like sweet white floral but like white floral scent, I can recommend this.

Perfect clean jasmine. If ever there were a desire for a clean, sparkling white floral, this is it. I'm almost tempted to describe it as tuberose, but it's clean, dreamy, fruity jasmine. An utter delight.

Clean floral sweet scent and warm, Very elegant. I always get complimented for smelling so good . Doesnt sting no weird after smell when dried down.

I've been looking at this fragrance for a number of years and read many reviews here and on other sites that compare this to Bond Central Park West. A lot of reviews claim they smell very similar, but after picking up a travel sprayer, and doing a side by side, I have to disagree. To my nose the only thing they have in common is that they are both big, extravagant florals. While both are white flower bonanzas, Central Park West is heavier, louder, richer, more sensuous, and much more extroverted and over the top. It's a great perfume for a night on the town. Whereas this is springtime in a bottle and despite also being a big floral too, the fresh, clean profile makes it more wearable for day, if used judiciously. So, right off the bat, besides having a different feel about it, it is more versatile than West as it can easily go from day to night. Also, West is more cold weather wear while this is more geared to warm weather. I couldn't imagine wearing West in the summer as it is so heavy and dense, I think it would choke me out and everyone else within the vicinity. As to this fragrance, it is white florals at their peak of bloom. Some people think it has a cleanliness to it, as if you just got out of the shower, and I can see that too though it is not shampooey in the least. There's just the tinniest hint of fruitiness that adds freshness, but this is not a fruity floral either. At least not in the way most fruity florals are done today where the fruity notes are much more pronounced and a feature of the scent. If I were to make a comparison to any Bond fragrance, it would be Earth Day, in that it has that same clean, shower fresh aspect. If you are looking for a big fresh white floral, you should give this a shot as it is not only very pretty but performs wonderfully too. I will use up this travel sprayer next spring and summer, which I think will be perfect that time of year for this scent, and most likely will replace with a bottle when it is done.

Central Park South doesn't remind me of CPW. CPW is very white and green, pungent and very top heavy. This is much longer lasting and has warmth and brightness. Still, it can be a bit of a scrubber if you use too much. It has fewer ingredients than CPW, but maybe that is its strength. It has berries and grapefruit to cut the sweetness and pungency, she only used jasmine this time (thank you!) with Lily of the Valley which is very different, and wood in the base. So you get depth, but it's still fairly simple. Again, as with any "combo" white flower fragrance, use it sparingly, on the wrists only (for most of us).

Smells a lot like gardenia for me. It's nice but I prefer more of a citrus/gourmand touch. it also smells liek Central Park West which smells like KKW Body 2 for those that missed out on that (KKW 2 smells a little more musky).

A feminine, quiet composition built around white floral accords, subtly green and resting on a skin-like, powdery base. Its sillage and projection remain intimate, close to the skin.

Wow, I really like this! It has a slight citrus tang and the floral notes are just gorgeous. I'm a huge jasmine fan and they used it perfectly here.

pretty & mature floral scent for a woman at least 27 yrs old & up. strong scent which is a good thing at this price point

Hmmm... I am sorry but nothing surprising to see here, a very regular soapy/floral/musky type of scent. I was expecting something more unique but instead I feel I have smelled this fragrance somewhere at some point in some retail store. it opens very strong with a lot of lilies and jasmine, after a while, like I am talking at least 3 hours this get more sweet woody and musky but nothing else... I respect whoever love this perfume but for the price and the hype this scent is very boring and regular, it does have a good projection and sillage if you like vintage/classy aromas go for it, if not please do not blind buy this, sample first.

Strong, long lasting perfume. A little goes a long way! I prefer wearing it on my clothes vs. skin. The top notes are old lady-ish.. But the dry down becomes addictive.

Do not be fooled by the reviews here or on YouTube. I’ve smelled many hundreds of fragrances and this one of the most “old lady” perfumes I’ve ever smelled. I know that term gets thrown around a lot and I don’t even like using it because it almost never actually accurately describes a fragrance but if there’s one fragrance where that label is accurate it’s this one. Sure, this fragrance is fresh and floral, but that’s about it. I don’t get pineapple or sweetness whatsoever, just very basic white florals and a rosey vibe that does not stand out from others in any pleasant way. I went to give this another try today because I wanted something more fresh/floral/green and after applying one spray I decided I need to wear something else because I cannot vibe with this fragrance at all. It is so matronly and uninteresting that I genuinely think I would scoff if I recognized someone wearing this in public.

unfortunately this remind me of a toilet deodorizers in some office buildings. this could be a clean and elegant scent, but since i first smell this scent as toilet deodorizers i can no longer imagine this scent as another scent. very sad....

Home run for Bond! This is a big floral fragrance that, if applied with restraint, is just wonderful, sexy and long-lasting. A must try!

I am a big fan of beautiful perfumes that do not set off my allergies, so I'm fairly happy with Central Park South. Despite being a powerful floral, it does not upset my eyes or sinuses when I wear it. The top notes are something green and bright, which must be the grapefruit blossom. But the big floral is already there and after about 10 minutes, the jasmine and white flower scent is really becoming the big note. After about 15 minutes, a slightly spicier flower comes in (I thought it was a lily but perhaps it was just lily of the valley.) Then, after about an hour, it is all jasmine, soft on the skin and still fairly strong. What I like is that this is not a sickly-sweet scent, despite being very floral. It is pleasant and for someone like me who loves power florals, it is a nice perfume to have because it stays on my skin a long, long time. That white floral note will still be there on my skin 8 hours later. However, it is so much about the flowery smell that it might be more suited to the kind of lady who lunches at the Plaza Hotel and lives around Central Park South than to myself. In any case, I'm happy to find something that does not trigger allergies, but it is so fully floral that I use it sparingly, on days when I'm ready to be smelling a grown-up, not too sweet jasmine all day long.

The moment I applied Bond no 9 CENTRAL PARK SOUTH, I was reminded of CENTRAL PARK WEST. Why? Because the big floral parade of narcissus, jasmine, and ylang-ylang is once again on display. It's becoming pretty clear that Laurice Rahmé (the creative director of this house) loves narcissus, as when it figures in one of her perfumes, it tends to steal the show. Another example: HARRODS ROSE, which is more about narcissus and ambrette than it is about rose, at least according to my nose. Once again, in CENTRAL PARK SOUTH, we have a somewhat overwhelmingly floral creation which is probably not going to appeal to many guys, nor any gals who dislike CENTRAL PARK WEST. I'm wondering about this launch, actually. It's the first from Bond no. 9 in more than six months, and it seems like a permutation or Lego launch. The core of CENTRAL PARK WEST is here, plus some new notes, but because the core is so strong, it doesn't really matter much which other notes were switched out for new ones. I can recommend this composition to all and only those who love CENTRAL PARK WEST. Narcissus, jasmine, and ylang are once again here in abundance!

This is very lovely, gorgeous quality, and definitely smells like pineapple! Long lasting, good projection, spring floral, but the notes combine to give you fresh cut pineapple, with sweet powdered sugar and cream. Totally lovely. This fragrance will be considered passé to many. It reminds me of plenty others from the late 90s early 00s. But it surpasses them all in terms of blending, and longevity. It’s just so beautifully done, here. I really want to own a full bottle because I’ve long wanted a summer pineapple fragrance that lasts. This is that. Some below say this turns masculine, but I do not get that at all! It’s fluffy and creamy in the dry down. Almost like whipped cream. I want both CPW and CPS, but I am trying hard to talk myself out of both. My only complaint is a very small one: The bottle is totally incongruous with the scent. There are no roses here. Strange that they picked this design for this scent. I think the bottle art looks rushed and poorly conceived.

This smells like it has tuberose in it and it's not even in the notes. Def a fresh green perfume that is floral, its very beautiful. I you want to feel like you are walking in a garden full of greens this is the perfume for you. There is the tiniest hint of sweetness in the same way dior has sweetness in blooming bouquet or Gucci bloom but those may be a tiny bit sweeter. This perfume is not for me so I am glad I only bought an 8 ounce travel size. Even though this isn't my style I can definitely still find the beauty in this. For green fresh floral lovers who want to smell elegant and it will stick with you all day. Also in the dry down it smells even better after it is on your skin for a couple hours. So far every bond no 9 has been a fail for me except greenwhich village 😍 thats my baby!

I so love the elements in this fragrance, it's description and notes. And it does live up to its promise. But as my nose is becoming more knowledgeable and sampling more Bond no 9 fragrances there is a bit of a banality across the board. They all seem to have the same baseline in similarity. Kind of like a band with limited range. If you like that sound/scent you will like the brand...but if you want to mix up your fragrances within a house others have a better range. Nevertheless, this is a safe, beautiful, long-lasting green and white floral. And I do recommend and believe you will find 2 or 3 Bond No 9's (if you can afford them) you love and will want to have for your well rounded collection.

I received a random sample of this and left it on a table. Unbeknownst to me , it somehow rolled off the table and shattered on the tiled floor. I never even noticed until I saw the broken glass shards. If this had happened with many other fragrances, the scent would have filled the room. I did get a whiff of it while sweeping up the broken glass. It's a pretty white floral I guess, but I can't believe the reviews about sillage since I couldn't even detect it without crouching down next to it with a whole 2ml exploded on the floor. Also, why the heck did they put roses on the bottle when there's nothing remotely rosy about this?

This is a really pleasant and sophisticated spring smell. In its final beautiful hours, CPS dries down to a highly manly musky and woody foundation. This is another vivid and vibrant hit from the Bond family. A must-have for spring. Beautiful flowery fragrance!

Not my personal favorite, however, it gets absolutely rave compliments from nearly everyone. Ive had a travel spray for several years and only wear it very occasionally... But now that i am nearing the end of the small travel size, i definitely will be getting a full size. Its a great feeling to wear something that makes those around me feel so rapturously uplifted. As if i am gifting others with my mere presence. Talk about a confidence boost. So yah... its a “cant live without” for that reason alone.

I am a huge fan of Bond and especially love Scent of Peace but I feel as though my nose has some sort of intolerance to this as I just cannot smell anything in it? I spray myself liberally in it and have had a couple of positive comments but cannot smell anything myself. At first I thought I coukd smell apricot/peach but that too disappeared. My daughter thinks I smell like a pineapple when I wear it, I jys feel as though I smell very clean? I'm gutted as I consider this to be quite pricey.

Just received my sample vial. It's a very pretty, warm fragrance, which smells exactly like Madonna Truth or Dare on my skin...even my daughter asked if I was wearing the Madonna perfume today. I'll give it the day, but if it continues to be compared to Truth or Dare either by my nose or someone else's, why shell out the big bucks when Truth or Dare is way less expensive with monster sillage and longevity? Not to mention I have two back up bottles!

On me, Central Park South is a sweet jasmine-ylang with a touch of raspberry. A ballet-slipper-pink sort of smell. I appreciate that it is smooth and there are no harsh chemical edges like many fruity florals, but it's a little too simple for my tastes. Would I buy it? No. But I'll enjoy my sample and spray it when I want to smell pretty but uncomplicated.

This signature is one my top 3 signature scents. I really only wear this when I am in a great & sexy mood. The main notes I smell are Lilly (my favorite flower) and floral. It’s a bright powerful smell that works well on day & night settings. I absolutely love it. I always get questions on what I am wearing when I have it on.

One of the perfumes that lasts the longest on me, and trust me, I have tried hundreds. I absolutely love the florals in it. And the other day I mixed it with Madison Square Park and it turned into the BOMB!!!! So beautiful!!!! And very long lasting!!!! People will stop you on the street to ask you what you are wearing.

A short splash of fruit, and then the power florals emerge and overtake everything. This is a surprisingly strong perfume, and it painfully hits my nose everytime Its tendrils waft out from my arm. CPS is too assertive for me and makes me want to escape into a park for some fresh air.

I'm not a big fan of the Bond No 9's, they are consistent in their awfulness. This one has a lovely opening, there is a wonderful violet in the center. But soon enough it becomes just another No 9: a great big soapfest and cheap, stinky soap at that.

It's 10:42 AM, sunny and 16 C here. I'm wearing Central Park South and I'm feeling like a queen. It's beautiful, warm, cozy and the wood is so well balanced and prominent in this time of the year. I can easily wear the fragrance during the autumn.

I don't like it... It smells like suntan lotion and makeup that has a "floral" scent - nothing photorealistic. Basically smells like expensive hand cream. Total bummer; was looking for a naturalistic scent of a park.

I have a Bond obsession every since my first bottle. This is my favorite so far. One spray will last all day. Love Love Love Love! I have others that are great as well but this on is the one for me for sure.

It looks a bit like Giò by Armani. A nice balsamic floral frag. But it spoils with green and acid fruity notes like cactus, cucumber and melon. Must be the blackcurrant. So so.

I recently purchased my first bond fragrance Central Park south, what can I say except I'm in loveeee with this smell, very intoxicating ......

Just tried this and it is beautiful. Floral, flirty, feminine, youthful. Dries down to a soft, woody undertone.

Just sniffed this in a magazine strip in Vogue and I love it! I hope it smells the same from the bottle.
